I read a book some years ago on a prophecy about a coming war, where Russia will unleash the first nuclear weapon out of frustration of loss. This current war is gearing up to be like that prophesied war, although I think Putin's replacement might be the one to unleash the weapon. Most Russians are warlike and not as moderate as Putin, his replacement might just be the guy, someone like Dmitry Medvedev or Yevgeny Prigozhin, for instance are capable of unleashing havoc on the world.

Lmao...you guys should have seen the handwriting from James Gunn's Suicide Squad take. After seeing how most of the old squad from Ayers SS was cancelled within the first 25 minutes of the movie, I lost interest in completing the movie. Till date, I have only watched the first 35 minutes of that movie. So, I am not too surprised by what's happening as I refuse to be fooled twice. Dividing and confusing fanbase is the name of the game. Such games will never end well...

A total reboot would have been better at this point but box office and general audience perception
will take a hit especially for the first 5 films. But a promise of a reward lies in the future.
Anyways, it's obvious some stories have to make way for others. How it's decided is the big question.

No success is guaranteed even after five films. Do you know why Marvel is still loved? Many teenagers grew up watching Marvel movies in their childhood and some are already adults as we speak. The Marvel momentum was not altered in anyway and it catered for these transitioning demographics. The real issue with DC is the confusion about canceling and rebooting and all that, it makes people lose interest in their projects. No consistency or continuity whatsover. The easiest scapegoat is always to blame Snyder but WB is the biggest issue, for not believing in their projects and being shaky about Box Office cash.

The superhero genre has already reached its peak, it will only go downhill from here unless they start injecting some form of realism into their stories. This era started as far back as 12 years ago. No genre lasts forever in Hollywood.

The real problem with DC movies is that whenever a new management takes over, they want to rubberstamp their own selfish 'creative' ideas. This is why these movies have been stagnant since 2016 or so.

The reactionary approach would hurt whatever they are building in the future. What happens if the upcoming reboot tanks and doesn't make them the money?

What did you expect from James Gunn who killed off 90% of David Ayer's Suicide Squad cast just to build his own team. Expect the same "Suicide Squad" treatment for existing DC characters going forward. The way I see it, He's trying to build his own legacy in a lazy way.

When i went to the UK I was a tiny little 15 year old. I remember old ladies use to cross the road, getting served last at corner shops, being chased by NF West Ham supporters, my white girlfriend being tsk and tutted at. At 20 being asked by a policeman while parked " where are your tools?" ( implying I was a burglar) I never wrote this home in any of my letters, I simply got on with it. Previous generations had it worse.

In all these things I responded with a smile and simply got on with it.

My take on Black Adam: it was decent movie, nothing spectacular. The story and writing was not good enough with the third act being very weak. The movie feels like an episode of one of those DC cartoons I've watched in the past. The weakest link is the lack of mythology, which would have given the story more originality. The visuals are appealing though except for the red clouds in the third act (feels like josstice league again) and the design of sabak.

This is a war game scenario with different outcomes when different responses are input. Nearly all possible outcomes have been simulated by the US defence and this is why Moscow is being warned relentlessly. The real war hasn't even started yet. NATO has real time statistics of all Russia assets globally and their movements and just an order will liquidate those assets. If US can accurately fire a missile into Gaddafi's bedroom as far back as 1986, imagine what could be done in this modern day. Our prayer is that the war shouldn't escalate beyond what it is at the moment.

I spoke about Russia running out of precision and guided missiles, which is a fact. They probably still have lots of unguided missiles which are cheap to produce and are still used for random bombardments over Ukraine. Unguided missiles are not intelligent and therefore tend to hit random locations when fired.

There may be pockets of terror attacks but they're negligible.
The West will also have to grapple with their own terror attacks if they sponsor terrorism against Russia.

By the way, Russia is having it rough economically also but the government keeps on hiding important economic data and crushes any government opposition.
