Family › Property Lawyers In The House, Please Advise by TooResilient(op): 4:22pm On Aug 06, 2024 |
Dear lawyers,
Please advise.
We have this tenant & his wife who are due for the next rent on 1st September but have already packed out as we speak but because their rental is still on, they locked our property.
They didn't want to tell us they've packed out yet but we already know. Now the problem is that, we want to start looking for another tenant who might want to inspect the place before any transaction.
So I advised my parents that we observe their absence from the flat for 2 or 3 days. If they no longer come around to pack whatever is left of their property, we will call them to confirm that they have finally left the place. If we don't get a straightforward reply, we'd go report to the police because a tenant that is gone can not just lock 🔒 up our property for personal emotional reasons (anger & revenge) when he no longer resides there.
We will report to the police who will come & unlock the place while we video capture all event.
1. If they still have some property, we'll leave but if it's empty,
2. We'll leave the place open for new tenants.
Is this the right measure? What do you advise?
Thank you, |

I want to send TLScontact a mail but I don't know their official email address.
What else can you advise that I do?

yerilistik: Not only Royal air maroc, i think in many airlines, booking a round trip comes out cheaper than booking them individually. Sometimes I use an intermediary site to check for flights and prices before going to the airline's website to compare and book if cheaper. The intermediary i use often is OPODO. You can try it just to have an idea of flight prices. Thank you |

elijames: I’ve been through this before. What worked for me was showing my job details, like a letter from my employer and pay stubs, plus proof of property ownership and family connections. I also included a detailed travel plan and bank statements to show I could afford the trip. It’s all about proving you’ve got solid reasons to go back home. J What medical insurance certificate did you use then? |

yerilistik: Try landing in BORDEAUX using royal air maroc. It is relatively cheaper than AirFrance On Royal air maroc, One way seems costlier than round trip, I'm wondering how. I just hope I'm on their correct website. |

I couldn't agree less. When I was growing up, having kids out of wedlock was an abomination. Any girl/lady in such a situation is terribly looked down on.
But as it seems today, people have undervalued the marriage institutions. Men just want to have kids without being bound to a particular woman.
Women are advised to just get a man to impregnate her so she can have children whether the man stays or not.
In the next few years, just watch. Humans will start living like animals, just f^ck anyone and have children, no sacred commitment |

LostMyZeal: The bold is an audacious and outrageous assertion, don't you think?
It's always wise to get to know one first before making such assumption. That's the reason I ignore most comments. They really don't deserve my attention. Many of them and their baseless assumptions, you'd think they know all the women in world from their cubicle. |

frozen70: I think you just have to reduce the standard you have been so that you can accommodate men that may want to approach you
You said you will make your children citizens, why not even relocate to that country where their men love and appreciate women more than the Ibo and Yoruba men What I wrote in the original post was a description of myself, never gave a standard for the man except the yoruba/igbo part. And that's because I've never had luck with them. I'm working towards visiting first before relocation but I've travelled out once before. My experience, when it comes to finding soul mate, you can find anywhere, you really don't have to wait till you go to another country. |

weslay: Reading through your post, I can readily see why you are still single. A successful man that knows his stuff will not want to mess with you. All your lofty dreams will only attract unambitious blokes who would want to take advantage of you. I pray you get what you are searching for. But I suggest your priority needs to change. Thank you Weslay. Amen to your prayers. When you say my priority needs to change, how do you mean? |

Seniormanfeyi06: There is something called law of positive attraction. Now that your mind is fully focused on getting married, be rest assured that it will come to pass swiftly. Nature has a way of bringing our heart desires our way when we are fully committed to it. The truth is that you spent your 20s building your career and finance without much regards for marriage. Channel the same energy you used then now to meaningful relationships henceforth and watch it metamophorse into a blissful marriage God willing. Peace 🤔 thank you soo much, you're indeed a senior man. Thank you sir, I will. |

GreatAchiever1: Nope, Spouse is different from partner. Infact it's better to use the term as it is; husband or wife, but in some cases the word Spouse is allowed but never partner. Your husband is not your partner neither is your husband to see you as his partner, contrary to what you've been led to believe by the culture, marriage is not a partnership but rather a relationship involving a hierarchy with the husband as the head and the wife as his helper. OK 👌 o |

Seniormanfeyi06: This life is just funny. See a matured lady that has good job now wants a husband. Useless girls with nothing will be getting married on Saturdays. I just don't understand. Op, please open your eyes well. Nothing dey happen. I have a female friend that got married at 36. She told me openly that she had given up on marriage. The day of her traditional wedding, people came to their house to check if it is really true. Some couldn't eat. They were just wondering. Calm down and fear not. Don't let family pressure get to u o. Stay blessed Thank you Seniorman. I'd be patient, but I don't want to stay longer so I can have all kids before 40 years. |
