HotelierVI:Thanks for the response, I’ve tried using physical dollar cards form two different banks domiciled in Nigeria as well as numerous virtual dollar and naira cards without success . I guess it’s just impossible to purchase apps on Microsoft Store with the location region set to Nigeria |
Hi, did anyone find a fix for this? Currently experiencing the same issue. |
Hi, can they deliver to Nigeria? |
GreenandGold:I am no military expert here but I believe their approach would be different if they were fighting a NATO country. The initial plan relied too heavily on a Ukrainian military that would be recalcitrant to fight and mostly flee before the “mighty” Russian army, hence the reason for using lightly armoured units, sometimes even reconnaissance units to attempt to occupy large cities, heck a riot police squad ‘omon’ of about 80 troops attempted to march on Kiev. They only deployed about 30 to 35 percent of their initial troop build up on the border in the initial 3 days of the war and also mostly 70’s and 80’s era equipment used by the backwater eastern military districts The vast majority of their capabilities have not been brought to bear, but that being said the greatest operational failure of the Russians was their failure to achieve air superiority within the first 72 hours of the war, the fact that TB-2 drones were still operational until about yesterday is unacceptable. |
I saw three super Tucanos flying in low altitude formation over the runway in Abuja yesterday and then peeling off one by one in a high speed climb, unfortunately I couldn’t get my phone out in time and all I have is this crappy picture of them after they had landed. I guess we’ll be seeing them in the northeastern theatre soon.

tito44:Your assertion is factually incorrect, although the king air 350 was introduced in the 70's ,this was a newer variant and was purchased BRAND NEW in 2014 by the air force. Even the almighty US air force have a variant they use as well |
Mixedfruit:Lol, you clearly don't know anything about the Aviation industry if you think there will be direct flights from anambra to the US. |
isthatso:Lol I find this ironic because United Nigeria's ERJ- 145 fleet is newer compared to Air Peace's ERJ-145 fleet |
Biggers82:Yeah, like you've ever been to an airport. |
dragon2:First off the rafales had been planned for a while under the mmrca deal. It would also interest you to know that the Indian Air force placed an additional order for 12 additional Su-30MKI's and 21 Mig-29s in June of last year. The JF-17's alleged kill was pure propaganda by the PAF to conceal the use of F-16s which they later made a U-turn and admitted using. The PAF F-16s Fired about 4 or 5 missiles against the Indian Su-30s without scoring a kill as, evidenced by the crashed Aim-120 missiles shown by India, One of those missiles was even shot down by an Su-30. If the F-16 which is vastly superior to the JF-17( a Pakistani pilot once referred to them as a poor man's F-16) could not score a kill against the Su-30 what makes you think a JF-17 can? |
jln115:What exactly is debatable about it? I think it's a rather well rounded opinion. |
The first of the 13 Embraer E-195E2 ordered by Air peace is almost set for delivery, Embraer released a time lapse video showing that work is nearing completion on the first aircraft. It would be the first time in recent history that a scheduled Nigerian Commercial carrier would be taking delivery of brand new aircraft, it's a marked shift from the norm of used and sometime geriatric aircraft that dominate Nigerian air space.

ChimaAdeoye:Your prejudiced opinion laced with wildly inaccurate information is archetypal of the Nigerian psyche which seeks to make martyrs of individuals belonging to the same homogenous ethnic group as them when said individuals get their comeuppance. Air peace HAVE not cancelled their order for 10 737 max 8 aircraft, and even if they were to renege on their commitment to buy the troubled airplane, that would hardly be grounds for vindictive action by the US government given the fact that 10 aircraft pales in significance when compared to a backlog of over 5,000 orders that Boeing have. While I know your closeted world view does not allow you to see beyond your nose, I'd like to point out that Boeing recently acquired the commercial aircraft division of Embraer, so how could air peace placing orders for embraer aircraft attract the ire of the US government? I have watched with a mixture of bewilderment and resignation how certain "woke" people on twitter; most of them belonging to the same ethnic group as Mr Onyema , perform mental gymnastics and bend over backwards to leap to his defence over the alleged charges against him. They are being clever by half, insinuating that there was no wrong doing as he simply devised means to circumvent extant regulations and create conduits for "his" funds to reach the US. The question then his why go through all that trouble to avoid a paper trail? If the said funds were legally and dutifully acquired, why go to such lengths and hide under the guise of purchasing aircarft? If you read the indictment charge sheet properly, you can clearly see where it was stated that he received foreign(non-american) funds, who do you think these "foreign" entities are if not our corrigible, unconscientious ,morally bereft thieving politicians? |
Almajiri1:Oga You've got some screws loose in your head, American airlines with largest fleet in the world of almost 1000 aircraft will be worried about air peace with 25 second hand aircraft. Its pointless engaging in intelligible discuss with individuals like you who are blinded by ethnicity. |
Almajiri1:Why do you people always have this victim mentality, what American interest is Air peace competing against? Pray tell me? Is it the same air peace that placed an order with american airplane manufacturers ? Its quite unfortunate that this charges are propping up because onyema seems to have a magnanimous heart, but they are probably genuine because right from inception people have wondered where oneyma got his start up funds from...I guess we have our answer |
kikuyu1:Bro, I don't know what shi***t you're on but its strong as f***k. Regarding the second image purporting to show Russian S-400 radar display images, That is categorically false. That radar imagery was released in the wake of an accidental shoot down of a Russian il-20 coot elint aircraft by a Syrian S-200, and it was released by the Russians to show that Israeli aircraft used the il-20 as a decoy during an air strike. You can clearly see the 4 Israeli F-16's, the il-20 and the S-200 fired by Syrian air defences. Regarding your "non-photoshopped' collage in the first pic, I think we have already established your credibility ....or lack of. |
Becks27:The south african embassy is closed till further notice and until they reopen, VFS is not attending to south african applicants |
Greetings , Please I would like to find out if NIMC slip;the slip with NIN is an acceptable form of identification for my sponsor if I am applying for a training visa, as my sponsor's passport is currently not valid. |
Hope, Aspirations, The belief that everything would turn out fine... |

Am I the only one seeing a dick in this pic? |
963AvatarSpirit:I guess you don't actually the difference between a wet and dry lease, a wet lease does not encourage local content as all the operating crew of the aircraft (pilots , cabin crew) will all be expatriates . On the other hand a dry lease only involves leasing of the aircraft, all attendant crew are to be sourced by the operator. |
fuckerstard:The weapon in the first pic is a Compact tavor designated CTAR 21, its an Israeli made bullpup assault rifle, The third pic, the one with the guy in the foreground resting his palm on the vehicle: He's holding a Belgian made FN-F2000 also a bullpup design. |
czarina:Thought so as well, they would simply choose another domain name e.g FlyNigeriaAir.com or something else. |
A business savvy individual or a greedy Nigerian( Depends on how you look at it) by the name of Olumayowa Elegbede , has claimed ownership of the domain names of NigeriaAir.ng and NigeriaAir.com.ng and put them up for resale at a cost of 24 million naira each.($66,489). Entrepreneur or Unpatriotic Opportunist? What's your take? https://techpoint.ng/2018/07/20/nigeria-air-domain-taken/

As depicted in the picture, it appears the airline will make use of Boeing 737 max aircraft for regional routes and Airbus A330 for long haul routes |
In keeping in line with the promise to re-birth the country's aviation flag bearer, the Federal Government a few minutes ago unveiled the name, logo and proposed aircraft type for the new national carrier. The task force set up by the FG to mid-wife the birth of the proposed National carrier is inviting the general public to help suggest names for the startup airline, they have provided a website where you can drop your ideas, link below http://nameyourairlinenigeria.com/ Cc: lalasticlala Mynd44 |
This makes absolutely no sense, there are only two operators, namely Air Peace and Arik that posses more than ten aircrafts in their fleet, what happens to the other airlines? |
jteku:Rotting at the general aviation apron at abuja airport for the past three years. |

. Now the aircraft(JF17) is being equipped with SD10s, and Block3 with PL15s which is a very serious threat to anyone.. Also, we dont need an air museum with grounded planes for lack of operational funds. Twin engine aircraft (SUs and Migs )we dont need. We get more costs per plane and less pilots and flight time from the Russian plane than the Chinese one.
for the sake of peace I'll leave it at that
