I still know what my father and grand parents looked like so do my children and unborn generations because i have their pictures documented. Today, i'm able to communicate with someone in far away, i can take a flight around the world, i can read and write, i can keep records that the future will keep remembering me. Electricity is an important factor in all this. Stop looking at only the negative sides because even back then there were wars and freedom of movement wasn't as guaranteed as it is today due to the level of canibalism, babarism, etc. that existed then. Today we have a much more sophisticated environment. So, also look at the good things that came along.

Guy, you're confusing human characters with Christianity. In every religion, family, relationship and organisation, there are evil people who hide under the guise of their organisation to execute their evil plans. It's true that the British colonisers weaponised Christianity for their own selfish gains but does that make them true christians? No! Christianity obviously teaches love and peace over hatred and violence as well as forgiveness of sins, this was what the evil men weaponised.

Even in your family, workplace or other social organisation, there are people who would want to take advantage of others using the organisation as their umbrella. Which is why scholars over time have been able to explain and differentiate religion from politics. Even in politics today, our leaders are using their position to loot as if that was why they elected them their. Some even use the law to their own advantage (as in the case of rigging).

1. As a black African, if you are left with your natural resources do you know what to do with it? Can you process it? In all history did Black Africans even know the uses of what they have before the White man came?

2. It’s nearly 65 years since independence from Britain. Millions of Africans have acquired Western education since then. But we still can’t do anything to process our natural resources. Of what use is it to us then? Why shouldn’t the West that knows what to do with it take it?

3. You are celebrating kicking out France from Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger Republic, right? Don’t worry. These countries are going the part of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe kicked out White people and nationalized their lands. That country went from being the food basket of the world to a failed state today.

4. As black Africans, we prefer a few politicians to steal our common patrimony than allow people who can help us. Same way we’ll vote along ethnic and tribal lines than who has the zeal to make positive changes.

5. Give China the opportunity to govern Nigeria for just 10 years and you’ll see progress we can’t achieve in 200 years.
