When in USA, skyscrapers office complexes are crashing in price or is it private individuals in onitsha that would bring our their money to pay expensive rents for bragging rights that they stay in a skyscraper

What is needed are factories amd.power plants that produce items we import and employ people

This reminds me of my first job after graduation.

All my colleagues were master degree holder with 8-15 years experience in that field (though they were all thieves. Like 98% of Nigerians).

My former manager (an Indian man) has ND equivalent. He was paid in dollars ($2000 then). He's entitled to vacation to anywhere once a year with his family.

Meanwhile, my colleagues salary were ₦40,000-₦50,000.

After the Indian man left, they brought a fresh graduate (like myself) from India. He came as a management trainee (like myself), yet he was the Manager.

You can never be the best for the job in the eyes of Nigerians.

Foolish people boku for Nigeria. So sky scrapper is now development. This was why awolowo went and built cocoa house in Ibadan. Did it stop Ibadan from becoming a slum? Nigeria doesn't even have a single sky scrapper even though some people are obsessed with it.

Imagine uyo that is still a village. Instead engaging your population in a productive venture, you are dreaming of sky scrapper.

It really baffling that the entire south east don't have highrise building except the one Vincent Maduka built in a village In Anambra.
I don't know how our leaders and people think.

Yeah, Uyo has a skyrise. I saw one close to the Government house when I visited in October. Ikot-Ekpene has one built by Akpabio. That one is an hotel I guess.
