TOPIC: CHARACTER – THE ROADWAY TO DESTINY

SCRIPTURE: And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.
Genesis 39:6.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your destiny is not secure until your character is intact.

It has been confirmed that there is a relationship between character and favour. There is a connection between one’s character and the favour or opportunities one sees in life.
People’s positive character attracts other people to them while their negative character repels people from them.
There is a character that draws people to you and another character that drives people away from you. There is a character that opens doors, and there is a character that closes doors. There is a character that multiplies opportunities, and there is a character that diminishes opportunities. There is a character that makes people to be interested in someone, and there is a character that makes people to lose interest in someone. There is a character that increases favour and there is a character that diminishes favour.
So, your character greatly affects your destiny. The outcome of your life is greatly influenced by your character.
There is a winning character; that is a character that makes one win by all means. And there is a losing character that makes one lose in life.
One of the worst attacks the devil launches against people is to impact them with negative character.

Beloved, your character affects you in every realm of life. Your character affects your ministry, business, career, relationship, marriage, partnerships, etc.
You see, a person can be disqualified and dismissed from his place of work because of wrong character, even though he has the right academic qualifications.

Beloved, your destiny is not secure until your character is intact.

My counsel is, by all means cultivate a good character to secure your destiny.

REMEMBER THIS: Your destiny is not secure until your character is intact.

1. Do not allow negative character to close doors of breakthrough and blessings against you.

TOPIC: PICTURE ABUNDANCE TO LIVE IN ABUNDANCE

SCRIPTURE: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Proverbs 23:7.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What goes through your mind overflows into your life.

In life, having the right mind-set is critical to experiencing the right results. That is why a major key to accessing supernatural supplies is the possession of the picture and mind-set of abundance.

Proverbs 23:7 says,
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Genesis 13:15 says,
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

Proverbs 21:5 says,
The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

What flows through the mind of a diligent man is plenteousness. When you open his mind, it is filled with plenteousness.

I would like you to take note of the following key thoughts:

i. Mental picture determines actual future.
What is not your picture can never be your future. God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, once said, “Mental picture determines actual future.”

ii. What goes through your mind overflows into your life.
Anything that is running through your mind will overflow into your life. Criminals commit crime because crime has been going through their minds.

iii. What you imagine eventually emerges.
Ephesians 3:20 says,
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
You see, God responds to our thinking the same way He response to our asking.

My counsel is, don’t let any negative thought surrounding your upbringing or other past experiences of your life overwhelm your mind.

Remember this: What goes through your mind overflows into your life.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Remove every limiting thought from the borders of your heart by the Word of God.
2. Renew your mind always with the Word of God and maintain the thought of abundance and plenteousness.

PRAYER: Lord, by the mystery of the Blood of Jesus Christ, I uproot every limiting thought from my mind. I ask for the grace to maintain the mind-set of abundance and possibility, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: DECADENCE THROUGH SLOTHFULNESS

SCRIPTURE: By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.
Ecclesiastes 10:18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The way of slothfulness is the way of systemic degradation.

Our anchor Scripture reveals that a building decays by much slothfulness and houses drop through because of idleness. The Nineteenth Verse of the Sixth Chapter of First Corinthians reveals that your body is the temple or the building of the Holy Ghost.
This means, your body, which is the house, temple or building of the Holy Ghost, decays by slothfulness; idleness makes your body to drop through.
You know, dynamism is necessary for the vitality of life. It is an active life that is a healthy life. The life that is not engaged rapidly degenerates and dilapidates.
To put this in another way, the way of slothfulness is the way of systemic degradation. Systems are degraded where slothfulness is allowed. Laziness or indolence is one cause of body sickness.

Slothfulness is dangerous.
There is an animal called the sloth. Sloths are mostly found in South America. The animal hangs on trees upside down, and in this position, they sleep for fifteen hours a day. They are too tired to lie normally. The animal is very slothful and sloppy. It is its name, sloth that formed the root word of the word, “slothfulness”.
They have tiny tails and big eyes. They eat fruits and leaves of various types. Sloths cannot walk. If they are to move at all, they crawl, and are extremely slow. And because of their “slothfulness,” fungi and green algae grow on their bodies. They are too tired to drive pests away from their bodies. These are the features of the sloth. Beloved, refuse to be like the sloth. Don’t be slothful in life.

Please take note of this: Slothfulness is the way to systemic degradation. Lethargy is the death of energy. When a person is lethargic, he cannot be energetic at the same time.

REMEMBER THIS: The way of slothfulness is the way of systemic degradation.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. By all means, fight the spirit and character of slothfulness to safeguard your destiny.
2. Be actively engaged in the service of God and humanity for the preservation of your life.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from slothfulness, laziness or idleness in life. Help me to engage myself in active service to both God and humanity, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: AVOID SIN; ESCAPE AFFLICTION!

SCRIPTURE: Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Psalm 119:67.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you dwell in a lifestyle of sin, you invite the bondage of affliction into your life.

It has been established that a lifestyle of sin and disobedience to God invites afflictions. Sin establishes a person in a situation of affliction. When people go astray, they get afflicted (Psalm 119:67). When you dwell in a lifestyle of sin, you invite the bondage of affliction into your life.

Pay attention to this story:
Many years ago, a man was brought to me for prayers. In fact, they travelled with him for almost five (5) hours to get to where I was. This man was dying of a terminal ailment. The vehicle that brought him stopped on the road for about 5 times for them to pour water on his body so he could be revived because he lost his breath several times.
When they brought him to me, he was like a skeleton covered with skin. He was lying on the floor in the Church. When I saw him, I packed him in my hands like a baby and prayed for him with all the passion I possessed. I cried to God and said, “Oh Lord, let this man live.”
After the prayer, the man was healed and started walking. Two weeks later, he drove himself to my house and I was amazed. I could not believe that it was the same person who was in very terrible condition just two weeks earlier. Then he resumed his normal life activities.
However, after some months, he fell sick again and died. I was bothered and asked, “O God, if you were not interested in keeping him alive, why did you heal him in the first place?”
Then six months later, God answered my question when someone close to this man spoke to me and said, “Pastor, do not be worried about the death of that man because he went to heaven. He told me that you prayed for him at six different times and he was healed. But he went back to sin again, and at the point of death, when his soul was right with God, he told God ‘O Lord, now that I am sure that my soul is right with you, take me home so I do not get healed and go back to sin again, and die and go to hell.’”
The point here is, sin invites afflictions. Beloved, make up your mind not to dwell in a lifestyle of sin and disobedience to God.

REMEMBER THIS: When you dwell in a lifestyle of sin, you invite the bondage of affliction into your life.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Avoid the lifestyle of sin to escape afflictions in life.
2. Ask God for the grace to live right always.

TOPIC: THE GAINS OF PUTTING GOD FIRST

SCRIPTURE: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you put God first, you cannot come last in life.

It has been established that the God-first mentality is key to outstanding existence in life. People who bow before God always stand out in life.

When you put God first, you cannot come last in life.
In our contemporary world, there are people who impacted their world by virtue of their Kingdom-first mentality or addiction to God.
I will highlight one of them in our study today.
Sir Isaac Newton was one of such men. He stood out in life because of his addiction to God.
He was an English mathematician, physicist, astronomer, theologian, and author who is widely recognized as one of the most influential scientists of all time. He was a key figure in the scientific revolution. His book, Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy, first published in 1687, laid the foundation of classical mechanics. Newton formulated the laws of motion and universal gravitation that formed the dominant scientific viewpoint. Newton built the first practical reflecting telescope and developed a sophisticated theory of colour; he also formulated an empirical law of cooling, made the first theoretical calculation of the speed of sound, and introduced the notion of a Newtonian fluid. In addition to his work on calculus, as a mathematician, Newton contributed to the study of power series, generalised the binomial theorem to non-integer exponents, developed a method for approximating the roots of a function, and classified most of the cubic plane curves.
What was his secret? Sir Isaac Newton was a devout Christian. Beyond his work on the mathematical sciences, Newton dedicated much of his time to the study of Biblical chronology. Newton was a first class Christian who was an ordained priest. He wrote more on homiletics, the art of preaching or sermon preparation, than he wrote on physics. He put God first before every other thing in life.

Beloved, put God first and you will not come last in life.

REMEMBER THIS: When you put God first, you cannot come last in life.

2. Deploy yourself to the advancement of the cause of God on earth.

*SCRIPTURE:* And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Exodus 23:25.

*THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:* Service is a guarantee for Divine health, because to serve God is to be serviced by God.

The Scripture makes it clear that serving God is cure for affliction. Service is a guarantee of Divine health, because to serve God is to be serviced by God. (Exodus 23:25).

When you press into God in dedication and service, He cleanses you of every sickness and disease in your life so you can serve Him without that distraction. He deals with anything that can constitute a hindrance to your service.

Let me illustrate this with a story. While growing up, I was the sickliest child among my siblings. I was always convulsing. Whenever I convulsed, my mother would run from wherever she was to give me attention. They had called her from the market on many occasions and she had to abandon what she was doing to come and attend to me.

I was once admitted in the hospital at the age of twelve, and doctors could not diagnose the ailment. On the hospital bed, I could not eat for seven days, and was almost placed permanently on drip. It was a terrible condition.

But the good news is, as I pressed into God in dedicated service, that condition disappeared.

Beloved, if there is anything distracting your life, they will disappear as you press into God in service.

My counsel is, be fully engaged for God; and God will deliver you from the distractions of adversity and infirmity.

If you give God your attention, He will deal with your affliction. If you give God your submission, He will deal with your frustration.

I decree wholeness of life for you as you make up your mind to serve God, in Jesus’ Name.

*REMEMBER THIS:* Service is a guarantee for Divine health because to serve God is to be serviced by God.

1. Make up your mind to serve God totally and fully.
2. Deploy yourself and all you have to the service of God and His Kingdom.

TOPIC: WHAT IS YOUR CONVICTION?

SCRIPTURE: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
Proverbs 23:7a

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you believe determines how you behave and affects what you become.

It has been established that your conviction determines your conclusion in life. What you believe determines how you behave and affects what you become.

You see, people of heavy conviction are people of heavy destiny, and people of little conviction are people of minimal destiny. In the same manner, people of zero conviction are people of zero destiny. It takes heavy matter to matter heavily.

There are people who pass through life without believing in anything. They live their lives to chance. Their slogan is, “Whatever will be, will be.” This is not how to live.
Do you know what I believe? I believe that I am relevant to this generation. I believe that I cannot be a mere spectator in life. I believe that I am in the arena for action. I believe that this generation cannot recover from the impact of my existence. I believe that I am a mobile tornado, a mobile volcano, a mobile revival. I believe that anywhere I step, something must happen.

George Whitefield was a very rugged preacher. He usually introduced himself to people this way, “I am George Whitefield. I came to preach to you, and I must be heard.” That is, “I am not begging you to listen to me. I am aware that you must listen to me.”
In those days, the Prime Minister of Britain had to sit and listen to him. The Prime Minister once said something like, “Whenever George Whitefield is about to preach, a rifle has been corked. When he opens his mouth and starts speaking, the bullet starts flying.” He sat down and listened to him.

Beloved, what is your conviction? You must make up your mind that you will not be a failure in life. Make up your mind never to live as a failure or die without succeeding.

REMEMBER THIS: What you believe determines how you behave and affects what you become.

2. Spend time with the Word to know and believe what God says about you.

TOPIC: THE PROFIT OF PROPHETIC CONNECTION

SCRIPTURE: By a prophet the Lord brought out Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved. HOSEA 12:13.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The strength of your direction determines the vibrancy of your destiny.

In life, one good thing God does for people, among many others, is to place them under a prophet who oversees the affairs of their lives for the purpose of destiny fulfilment. I will tell you a story to drive home this point.

Many years ago, when we wanted to build the church, Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Area 1, Abuja, Nigeria, I told my father in the Lord, Bishop David Oyedepo about it. And he said, “Don’t touch the ground until you bring the architectural design for me to see.”
So, I took the design to him and he looked at it and asked, “How many people do you want this auditorium to sit?”
When I told him, he multiplied the length of the building by the width and divided it by a figure and then said, “What you get is not up to the number you have in mind. What you will do is: knock off the inner walls to increase the width if you want the sanctuary to sit the number of people you have in mind.”
And I assured him that we would do exactly that.
And when we followed his instructions, what he said came to pass.
You see, the strength of your direction determines the vibrancy of your destiny. But someone may be so proud that he doesn’t want to be instructed.

A young lady remained unmarried for seventeen years because she refused to listen to instruction. Her pastor tried to assist her, seventeen years earlier and told her, “Come, let me talk to you. You need direction from God in the area of marriage.” But she refused to listen to her pastor because she saw herself to be a “professional” who was too big to be instructed.
Although she had a car and a house, she remained “professionally” single because of her refusal to be instructed.

Beloved, determine to listen to divine instructions for the enhancement of your destiny.

REMEMBER THIS: The strength of your direction determines the vibrancy of your destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Refuse the lifestyle of pride and arrogance; accept divine instructions and direction.
2. Bring yourself under a prophetic cover and be willing to accept instructions from God through your prophet for the fulfilment of your destiny.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to remain humble so I can receive the right instructions for my destiny. Deliver me from pride and disobedience to divine instruction, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND YOUR ATTAINMENT

SCRIPTURE: Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 Corinthian 15:33.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your environment affects your attainment in life. The world you live in affects the life that you live.

Some years back, I heard an insightful story about a goat that grew among dogs. Eventually, this goat began to behave exactly the way dogs behave.
One day, the goat ran out to welcome its owner wagging its tail exactly the way the dogs do to their owner whenever he returned from work.
The goat also began to eat certain things the dogs ate because it was raised among dogs.
You see, your environment affects your attainment in life. The world you live in affects the life that you live. The input you receive into your life from your environment affects the output of your life. The friends you keep, the environment you live in, the people you give your ears to, what your eyes see, etc. affect how far you can go in life.
You must understand that the environment the goat in our story lived in corrupted its destiny. It was not meant to behave like a dog, but because it found itself in the environment of dogs, its destiny was corrupted.

Beloved, there may be a house you must move out of to safeguard your future. It may be a free accommodation, but you must run out of it for your destiny not to be aborted.
At times, someone you call a friend may be a demon in disguise. There may be a job you must resign from to secure your future. There may be someone whose advice has made you to remain unmarried; cut off your relationship with such a person. The inputs into your life determine the outcome of your life.

Correct character can be corrupted by bad association (1 Corinthian 15:33). When Samson consistently listened to wrong words from the lips of Delilah, his life and destiny ended tragically. Your environment affects your attainment.

My counsel is, be mindful of your environment. Cut off from every association that has the capacity to jeopardise your destiny.

REMEMBER THIS: Your environment affects your attainment in life. The world you live in affects the life that you live.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Disconnect from every wrong environment or association that may corrupt your destiny.
2. Ask God to give you quality associations that will enhance your destiny.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to make and maintain quality associations and environment that will enhance my destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE HEALING POWER OF JOY

SCRIPTURE: Then he said unto them, go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Joy is a killer of death while depression is a facilitator of death.

The Scripture makes it clear that the Joy of the Lord releases strength, energy, vitality and health. (Nehemiah 8:10).
Joy is a channel of divine healing. Joy is a transmitter of healing. Joy is a communicator of health, strength, energy and vitality. The Joy of the Lord gives strength.
Merriment is medicinal and joy is therapeutic (Proverbs 17:22).

A long time ago, I heard the story of a man who was diagnosed with a terminal disease; it was cancer. When he received the diagnosis, he requested that they play some exciting comic videos for him; that is, some healthy, holy and humorous videos.
As he watched those videos, he laughed. His purpose of watching the videos was something like, “At least, let me enjoy myself and be happy before I die”.
As he watched the videos and laughed, he discovered that the cancer had died after six weeks. This means, the “death” died. The death that wanted to kill him died.
Can you see? Joy is a killer of death while depression is a facilitator of death.

In hospitals today, most patients are not happy; they are not smiling and unknown to them, their state of depression establishes their afflictions.

Proverbs 17:22 says,
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

My counsel is, make the choice for joy. Do not let your condition determine your outcome; change your condition by your behaviour.

Whenever the devil wants to make you sick, which is not your portion, make a choice for the joy of the Lord which gives you strength, energy, health and vitality.

REMEMBER THIS: Joy is a killer of death while depression is a facilitator of death.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make an unconditional decision for joy. Always stay excited regardless of any situation of life.
2. Do not allow your condition to determine your behaviour; change your condition by your behaviour. Receive Grace of God to do so.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the key of joy as a boost for divine health. I receive the grace to permanently live in joy, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

SCRIPTURE: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Hosea 4:6.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Awareness affects action, and action affects results.

Knowledge or awareness has been identified to be a key to destiny fulfilment. Awareness affects activity. Awareness affects behaviour.
Look at this equation: Awareness affects action, and action affects results.

For example, the way the villager behaves in the city is not his fault. This is because his behaviour is at the level of his awareness.

I heard a funny story some time ago, that someone took a village native (witch) doctor to Trancorp Hilton, a five-star hotel in the city of Abuja, Nigeria. I cannot tell why he should take a native (witch) doctor from the village to Trancorp Hilton. Perhaps he wanted to harm someone diabolically.
Now, something humorous happened: when the native (witch) doctor approached the electronic door of the hotel, the door opened of its own accord, and he was astonished. Then he took some steps back, said, “Someone is testing my power in this place.”
He went closer to the door the second time and the door opened again, and he went back.
For the third time, he went closer to the door, and it opened again by itself, so he told the man that brought him, “There is someone testing my power here. I need to go back home and reinforce for more power.”
You may ask, why did the man behave this way? The simple answer is: he came from the village, and that was the level of his awareness. Your awareness affects your behaviour.

The way you behave is a product of your awareness or mind-set. Your actions, which determine your results, are also the outcome of the information available to you.

My counsel is, go for quality information. Give attention to reading. Develop yourself.

Renew your mind with the Word of God so you can excel in life and destiny.

REMEMBER THIS: Awareness affects action, and action affects results.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to upgrade your life with knowledge.
2. Give yourself to habitual reading and go for trainings, if possible.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When God places His Blessing on your life, your success will amaze people.

The Blessing of God has been confirmed to be the force behind supernatural success stories. The Blessing of God is the secret of greatness. Great people are empowered to succeed by the Blessing of God. Whenever you see someone succeeding unbelievably, the secret is the Blessing of God.
The Blessing was the secret of the greatness of Abraham. Abraham did what no one ever did in his lineage because he was empowered by the Blessing of God.
Even in our modern world, the Blessing of God is still the force behind the greatness of men. Men like John D. Rockefeller and J. C. Penney succeeded because of the Blessing of God that was at work in their lives.

John D. Rockefeller was an American oil magnate, industrialist, and philanthropist. He is still widely considered as the wealthiest American of all time and the richest person in modern history. He was the first billionaire in dollars in the history of America and also in the history of the world. God brought him to that level because of the power of the Blessing.

J. C Penney was also empowered unto greatness by the Blessing of God. He owns the J. C. Penney Company, Inc. which was an American Chain Store with 864 locations in 49 U.S. States.

The point is, when God places His Blessing on your life, your success will amaze people. People will be amazed. They will ask you, “How did you arrive at this level of unbelievable success?”

Today, I decree the release of the Blessing of God that will catapult you into the realm of unbelievable success, in Jesus’ Name.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The quality of your company determines the quality of your destiny.

In life, I have discovered that association defines destination. Company affects outcome. The quality of your company determines the quality of your destiny.

I heard a story some time ago. A young lady, who was a virgin, went to see a medical doctor, and the doctor told her, “How can you still be a virgin at this age of yours? If you don’t sleep with men, you will get sick?” That must be a demonic medical doctor circulating an evil theory.

By the Grace of God, I am a medical doctor and I want you to know that nothing like that has been medically proven.
So, following the counsel of this medical doctor, the lady ignorantly and foolishly handed herself to a man who had a carnal knowledge of her. The most painful and regrettable thing was, at her first attempt at committing immorality, she got infected with HIV. The man did not only have immorality with her but also gave her HIV. What a tragedy!

Beloved, you must be very careful of the people whose instructions you follow. You must be very careful of the people who speak into your life.
Just like this lady, someone may attempt to smoke for the first time because of a counsel from a friend. Someone may decide to take alcohol for the first time because of a counsel from a friend. There are people in prison today because of the friends they associate with.

You must know that friendship is not by force; friendship is by choice. Do not let anyone force themselves on you, and do not force yourself on anyone. Love is a command, but relationship or friendship is a choice.

Even though we are commanded to love everyone, we are not commanded to make everyone our friend. So, love liberally but relate selectively. Love everyone but select your friends because your association determines your future.

REMEMBER THIS: The quality of your company determines the quality of your destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Love liberally, but relate selectively. Be mindful of the people you associate with.
2. Disengage from every relationship or friendship that has a negative influence on you.
3. Always get a second opinion if you receive a dubious counsel such as the type the lady received.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God’s Presence is key to life and destiny fulfilment.

The Presence of God is an indispensable necessity in the life and destiny of the child of God. God’s Presence is key to life and destiny fulfilment.
The phrase … from glory to glory … in our anchor Scripture talks about levels and dimensions in the glory. It is about moving from one weight of the glory to another weight of the glory.

As it is with God’s glory, so it is with His Presence. There are levels and dimensions of God’s Presence that individuals carry. It is therefore, possible to move from a degree of intensity of God’s Presence to a higher degree of intensity of His Presence.
There is a perpetual need to shift in the intensity of His Presence from time to time.

I went to a city one day and the Holy Ghost spoke to me. He mentioned a word that I had never heard before that time. It was an English word, and He said that, that was the climate over the city. I told my wife about what the Spirit of God told me concerning that city. I had to look up that word in the dictionary to find out what the meaning was. And when I saw the meaning in the dictionary, it was the exact description of what I could feel physically about that city.

You see, pastors are fully aware that the spiritual atmosphere or climate of some congregation is as thick and dense as the ground, as solid as a concrete floor, and as hard as metal. No matter how much of yourself you pour out while ministering, such climates would yield no positive result because the ground is not receptive.
But there are some places you go, and under five minutes, you can feel God’s Presence. That is why we need to shift in dimensions of His Presence. We need to tell God, “Lord, I have experienced a level of your Presence but I need to shift to a higher level.”

My counsel is, make up your mind to shift in dimensions of God’s Glory and Presence.

REMEMBER THIS: The Presence of God is key to fulfilling destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to shift from one intensity of God’s Presence to a heavier intensity of His Presence.
2. Make up your mind to pay the price of tarrying with God to carry His intense Presence.

PRAYER: LORD, I ask for a heavier intensity of Your Presence on my life. Give me the grace to tarry in Your Presence Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: GOD’S PRESENCE – A COVER AND CLOTHING FOR LIFE

SCRIPTURE: And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: Exodus 13:21-22.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Presence of God is a cover and necessary clothing for life and destiny.

Our anchor Scripture shows us how the Lord went before the children of Israel in a physical Presence as the glory cloud.
The glory cloud is the weight of God’s Presence. The Presence of God is a tangible, feelable, and palpable materiality.

There are people you come close to and you feel God’s Presence around them; there is something around them that reminds you of God. There is something on their countenance or voice that reminds you of God. It is the tangibility of God’s glory. It is the tangibility of God’s Presence that they carry.
On the other hand, there are those you come close to and you feel their flesh.
And it is important to note that lands also carry such glory.

Paul Yongi Cho once said that in the earlier days of his ministry, when he prayed for about an hour in his country, South Korea, he would experience the Presence and the Anointing of God. But when he travelled to Japan, which at that time was about 99% other religions, he had to pray for nothing less than seven hours before he could feel the Presence of God.
In explanation, he said it was because the principality covering of South Korea, his country had been broken by intercession, so, feeling the Presence of God was easy. But in Japan, it was hard to contact and feel God because of the satanic and occultic climate over the nation at that time.

Beloved, the Presence of God is a necessary covering and clothing for life and destiny. You need the Presence of God to fulfil destiny.

My counsel is, spend time with God so He can cover and clothe you with His Presence.

REMEMBER THIS: The Presence of God is a necessary covering and clothing for life and destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Spend time with God so He can stamp your life with His Presence.
2. Refuse to allow the flesh or its manifestations to rule your life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Obedience to God and to your prophet is key to prosperity.
Sometime ago, I was talking to a group of businessmen. I told them, “The Church, the Body of Christ, should have the most impactful billionaires on earth because in every generation in the Bible, the wealthiest and most influential people were covenant people. And these were covenant people who believed and strictly obeyed covenant principles. But today, God’s people negotiate God’s instructions.”
You know, the Voodoo and Hindu believers are not so. They do strictly what their priests tell them to do. Other religions also do strictly what their leaders tell them to do, but people in church tamper with the instructions of their priest.

For example, when a man gives an offering of 20 Million Naira in church and receives a harvest of One Billion Naira, he may think he has done someone or the church a favour. And, so he expects the church and the pastor to bow down to him in appreciation.

The Christian businessman does not always do what he is instructed to do, yet he is wondering why he is not at the same level with his fellow businessmen who are not believers.
An unbeliever businessman would always service an altar, and do it faithfully. He would follow the dictates of the priests of those altars religiously.

If the people of God must rise to take their place in God, they must believe the Lord their God to be established, and also believe their prophets so they can prosper (2 Chronicle 20:20). Obedience to God and to your prophet is key to prosperity.

Beloved, receive the grace of obedience to prophetic instruction. I curse every spell of empty-handedness in your life. From today, unspeakable supernatural supply is your portion, in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: Obedience to God and to your prophet is key to prosperity.

1. Refuse to negotiate or analyse Divine Instructions.
2. Make up your mind to obey God’s instructions strictly so you can see God’s Power at work in your life.

TOPIC: SPARE NO COST

SCRIPTURE: O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Psalm 8:1.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Mediocrity is an insult to the Glory of God; you cannot please God in mediocrity.

Excellence is a department of the Glory of God. This means the Glory of God also refers to the excellence of God. The glory carries excellence as a component (2 Peter 1:17).

Psalm 8:1 says, O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
Where you see the glory, there you will also see excellence (Psalm 148:13).

You must understand, therefore, that mediocrity is an insult to the glory of God; you cannot please God in mediocrity. There is only one thing you will notice when you enter the glorious heaven; it is perfection that is beyond description. That is the character of heaven.

When we were preparing for the construction of the Glory Dome, the Lord told me, “Spare no cost.” I had to share it with my wife. I have not heard that from anyone before that time. I could not forget that instruction. This means, to arrive at the dimension of excellence that God wanted the Glory Dome to be, we must spare no cost.
That instruction triggered my emptying everything in my personal accounts for the work. The Lord said that the building was for His glory and He wanted to use it as a representation of His glory and dignity in this end time. And you know only the best is good enough for anything that represents the King of kings.
And as instructed, we spared no cost during the construction, and no cost will also be spared in the maintenance. What we spend monthly on the running and maintenance of the building can build a Church every month. For example, what is spent monthly on fuel for power generator and electricity is in millions of Naira.
This is because we serve the God of excellence and only excellence can represent God.

REMEMBER THIS: Mediocrity is an insult to the Glory of God; you cannot please God in mediocrity.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Refuse to live a mediocre or average life.
2. Spare no cost for God; live at your best for the Kingdom.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the lifestyle of mediocrity. Help me to deploy Your nature of excellence in me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: FROM REVELATION TO POSSESSION

SCRIPTURE: The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: For it to be released, it must first be revealed.

It has been established that God is in need of vessels to entrust with His End time resources for global evangelization. God is looking for men and women He can trust with Kingdom wealth for kingdom advancement.

However, it is important to know that there are things to do to experience supernatural supplies. And we shall look at one of them in our study today.

Accessing the revelation of the Word of God for supernatural supplies
Accessing the revelation of the Word of God for supernatural supplies is a major requirement for supernatural supplies.
You need to know what is in the Word of God for you. You need to know what the Word of God says about the subject of kingdom prosperity or supernatural supplies.

For example, Psalms 35:27 says,
Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
You must know by revelation that God is interested in your prosperity.

3 John 1:2 says,
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
And Deuteronomy 28:1-12 reveals that it is God’s Will for you to live permanently in the realm of the Blessing and financial abundance.
Now, what will revelation do for you?
i. Revelation brings possession.
It is what is revealed that can be possessed. Revelation is key to possession (Deuteronomy 29:29).
ii. Revelation precedes releases.
For it to be released, it must first be revealed. You cannot access what is not revealed.
iii. Revelation determines manifestation.

If you want to manifest in any realm of life, you must have revelation in that realm. If you want to manifest in the realm of finances, you must have the revelation in that realm.

Beloved, go for relevant revelations in Scripture on the subject of supernatural supplies.

Remember this: For it to be released, it must first be revealed.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Ask God to deliver you from financial ignorance.

TOPIC: FOLLOWING GOD WITH PATIENCE

SCRIPTURE: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6:12.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You must be patient with God to do what He wants to do with you.

Some years back, when God was helping us to build the Area 1 Church of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, the Office Complex at that time, needed about 10 Million Naira to complete, but we didn’t have it.
So, a commercial bank approached us and offered to help us raise money to build it. All that they required of us was to let them come after the Service every Sunday and take the offerings and count them with our people until repayment was complete.
But I refused and said that the offer could not be a subject of contemplation at all, not even for a second. That was an insult. If God, who owns it, would not build it, let it remain there.
After a short while, God provided the resources and we completed the project in His own way at his own time without borrowing a dime.
The truth is, we are not at that level now. That amount of money the Bank wanted to give us then cannot fuel our generator for one month now.
As a person, if I am to give such an amount now, it cannot be called a sacrifice.

Beloved, even though it looks difficult for you now, do not kill yourself to make it because a time is coming shortly when what used to be very difficult to achieve will become child’s play to you.

You must give God time to work on your life. You must be patient with God to do what He wants to do with you. The process God allows you to pass through is very important in the building of your life. Therefore, follow God’s process of building you with patience and allow Him to work on your life.

REMEMBER THIS: You must be patient with God to do what He wants to do with you.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Be grateful to God and accept your level per time.
2. Be contented with what you have per time.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for my current level of life and what You are doing in me. I ask for the virtue of patience to follow You until You bring Your Purpose to pass in my life, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE GIVER FIRST, NOT THE GIVING

SCRIPTURE: And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
Genesis 4:4-5.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your reasonable service is presenting or giving your life to God as a living sacrifice, afterwards, you can release your offerings to God.

Our anchor Scripture reveals that before God receives an offering from anyone, He will first accept that person. God has respect, first unto Abel before his offering. This means, He looked at the life of Abel and accepted him before receiving his offering.
The Bible says, But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect.
It is possible that God saw something in the life of Cain that He was not pleased with, so He rejected his offering.

God considers the giver first before the giving. God does not receive offering from a life that is not pleasing to Him. It is not your offering that matters to God first, but your life.
During the construction of the Glory Dome, we had to reject some money. There was a man who brought a cheque in millions of Naira and said that he wanted to contribute to the building.
Politely, we told him that we do not receive money from his kind of person. We do not receive money from those who work in the kind of place he was working.
Afterwards, he wrote a letter of appreciation to me for my stand.

The truth is, not every kind of money is receivable. And despite our rigid principle, on the day the Glory Dome was dedicated, we had some money left in the account.
So, not all moneys are receivable by God and for God. God assesses your life first before receiving your gift.

My counsel is, make up your mind to live above board.
Live a life that is pleasing to God.
Live a life acceptable to God. Your reasonable service is presenting or giving your life to God as a living sacrifice, afterwards, you can release your offerings to God (Romans 12:1).

REMEMBER THIS: Your reasonable service is presenting or giving your life to God as a living sacrifice, afterwards, you can release your offerings to God.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Always present yourself to God as a living sacrifice. Let God kill the flesh in you.
2. Then afterwards, you can release your offerings and givings to God.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to present my body to You on the altar of sacrifice. Purge me of every sin and iniquity so that my offerings and givings can be acceptable to You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
