TOPIC: BECOMING A GENERATIONAL REFERENCE BY THE BLESSING

SCRIPTURE: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Galatians 3:13-14.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you are blessed, you are established as a generational pacesetter, standard bearer, and reference point.

It has been confirmed that the Blessing establishes the blessed as a generational pacesetter, standard bearer and reference point.

When you are blessed, you are established as a generational role model and road pointer.
Today, the name of Abraham is a reference of faith because of the Blessing of God that was on his life.

Isaac is also a reference for prosperity because of the Blessing of God that was on his life.
And Jacob cannot be left out when it comes to generational impact and reference because of the Blessing. Likewise Joseph because of the impact of God’s Blessing on his life.
You see, these men though long dead, remain reference points. That is why when a pastor preaches, he must mention the names of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph for at least once in a year. These men were made great by God via the instrumentality of the Blessing.
Even Jesus connected us back to Abraham.

Galatians 3:13-14 says,

The point is, people would always refer to you when God has placed ‘something’ on your life. You become a reference point by the power of God’s Blessing.

Today, I decree the release of God’s Blessing on your life in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: When you are blessed, you are established as a generational pacesetter, standard bearer, and reference point.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Connect to the Blessing; do all it takes to carry the Blessing of God.
2. Be determined to impact your generation by the instrumentality of the Blessing.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the spell of mediocrity and littleness. I ask for the release of Your Blessing on my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: KINGDOM FINANCIAL STEWARDS

SCRIPTURE: For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
2 Chronicles 16:9.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God is in search of vessels to entrust with His wealth and resources.

It has been established that our God is the God who owns the universe, including the earth and all its wealth and abundance. He owns the heavens and the earth and everything in it (Psalm 24:1).
Now, it is very important to know that God is in search of vessels to entrust with His wealth and resources for the purpose of end time evangelization.
The Eyes of the Lord run to and fro through the whole earth in search of trustworthy people (2 Chronicles 16:9).
God is looking for men and women to entrust with His Wealth.

The truth is, if God will not find believers who will be relevant to His purpose on earth, He would locate unbelievers that will be faithful. These unbelievers may not go to church but they understand kingdom assignment. That was what God did with Cyrus. Cyrus was a heathen king, still, God called him “my anointed” (Isaiah 45:1, 3).

The question is, why was God looking for Cyrus to anoint when there were Israelites? Why couldn’t God get an Israelite?

Isaiah 45:13 gives us the answer. It says,
I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city…
You see, even though Cyrus was a heathen king, he understood what it meant to build the city of God. And did he not build the city? It was Cyrus who commanded the rebuilding of Jerusalem after the captivity. He empowered Nehemiah and gave him all the resources, finances, and everything Nehemiah needed for the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem. Cyrus also empowered Ezra for the building of the temple.
Do not let God find “stones” worthy of use instead of you. Do not let God find unbelievers to use when you are alive. Make yourself available as God’s steward for kingdom wealth.

Remember this: God is in search of vessels to entrust with His wealth and resources.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Refuse to let unbelievers take your place in the fulfillment of God’s Purpose.
2. Make yourself available to God for use as His kingdom financial steward.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the opportunity to serve Your Purpose on earth. I ask that You make me a kingdom financial steward, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE FIRE DIMENSION OF GLORY

SCRIPTURE: And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. Exodus 24:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Moving from glory to glory implies moving from one level of spiritual vibrancy to another level of spiritual vibrancy.

It has been established that we are created to walk in dimensions of God’s Glory.
Now, glory represents fire. This means, another dimension of the glory is the fire dimension.

And fire means spiritual fervency, vibrancy and intensity. So, moving from glory to glory implies moving from one level of spiritual vibrancy to another level of spiritual vibrancy, from one level of spiritual intensity to another.

You may have been praying before, but by shifting to another level of glory, you are just about to start praying. You may have been worshiping before, but by shifting to another level of glory, you are about to start worshiping. You may have been fasting and evangelizing before, but you are only about to start fasting and evangelizing now as you shift to another level of glory.

Sometime ago, Papa Adeboye said he prayed for seventy-two hours non-stop and he was excited. He said he thought he did very well by praying for seventy-two hours non-stop until he heard of someone who prayed for thirty days non-stop. So, spiritual fire is in levels.
And you must make up your mind to move from your present level to a higher level, from one level of supernatural operation to a higher level. That was how John G. Lake operated. He prayed for a crippled horse, and the horse began to walk. He prayed for someone’s malformed head and the head was reshaped.
What about A. A. Allen? He prayed for an amputated leg and the leg grew back.
Robert W. Schambach prayed for a breast that was cut off because of a disease, and a new breast grew out in its place.

Beloved, there are things that must happen in this end time, and it is going to happen in our generation through us. It is your turn to change your world through the fervency of your prayer fire.

REMEMBER THIS: Glory represents fire. Another dimension of the glory is the fire dimension.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Ask God to increase the intensity of your prayer fire.
2. Spend time with God to deepen and intensify your prayer life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One thing that brings disorder to the life of a Christian is borrowing.

The Scriptures make it clear that a life of decency and order is a quality worth emulating (1Corithians 14:40).

More than Twenty-Five years ago, when we were growing up in Ministry, we were wondering why some pastors at that time were driving flashy cars but we could not afford such cars. What we had at that time was an old, retired Peugeot 504 car. They were driving flashy cars but little did we know that they either borrowed money to buy them or bought them on hire purchase agreement.
On Sunday morning, the person who gave them the cars would come to church and ask: where is the balance of my money?
Most of those pastors have faded away. Many of them are still alive today but their voices have been drowned. I know one of them who after 27 years of being in Ministry, was looking for money to pay house rent. This is not how to live life.

Papa Bishop Oyedepo said that life is in phases and men are in sizes. You should learn to accept your status per time. Whatever you cannot afford now is not good enough for you. There is a shirt you wear now that can wear out your destiny because you cannot afford it. There is a car you are driving that is actually driving you out of your favour.

So, order your life. For example, it is not every time you see food that you must eat, order your life.

REMEMBER THIS: One thing that brings disorder to the life of a Christian is borrowing.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Avoid the lifestyle of begging and borrowing.
2. Be contented with what you have per time.

TOPIC: THE LIGHT THAT DISARMS DARKNESS

SCRIPTURE: And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
John 1:5.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is light that disarms every form of darkness in a man’s life.

It has been confirmed that light is one thing that constitutes a terror to the kingdom of darkness. Light is physically a threat to darkness any day. It is light that disarms every form of darkness in a man’s life.
Even Satan, the epitome of darkness, knows that he is powerless before lighted people. That is why one of his greatest weapons is ignorance. When you are lighted, you cannot be afraid of the threat or attack of the enemy.

One day, I had a dream of the night. In that dream, people came to attack me with dangerous weapons. They said that they were looking for me.
Then I looked at them and said, “See me here!” I collected their knives and wasted all of them.
When I woke up, I almost felt guilty because I wasted too many people in that dream. I told my wife that I wasted too many people in a dream the previous night. I told her that some people were looking for me with knives and I collected their knives and wasted them.

On another occasion, I had a revelation where people came to attack me, and suddenly, an angel appeared and said, “Step aside. I will fight for you.”
Then the angel stretched forth his hands and within split seconds, he wasted all the people who wanted to attack me.
You see, to be armed with light is to be in charge of darkness.

Someone may say, “I saw that I was afflicted in a dream of the night”.
And another person who just hears this may say, “Ah! I pray that I do not have that kind of dream. God forbid. Lord, please let that kind of dream not come near me.”
This is what the devil does when you are bankrupt of light from the Scriptures. When you are bankrupt of light or revelation from God’s Word, you are prone to every attack or threat of the devil.
But when you are armed with light, you are a master over all forms of darkness, including the darkness of sickness and disease.

REMEMBER THIS: It is light that disarms every form of darkness in a man’s life.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Arm yourself with light.
2. Take the study of the Scriptures very seriously.

TOPIC: SERVICE – A BLESSING CONNECTOR

SCRIPTURE: And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
Exodus 23:25

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Service is a blessing connector; service is a connector of supernatural supplies.

Our anchor Scripture above has established the fact that service is a doorway to the Blessing of God. When you serve the Lord your God, he shall bless your bread and your water (Exodus 23:25). Service is a blessing connector; service is a connector of supernatural supplies.

If you serve the Lord, you shall be blessed. And it is not just serving God but also servicing your generation.
If God blessed you greatly, what would you do with the money? It is to service your generation.
When you minister to people, you will discover that there are many people in need. Many times, you may not even know where to start from in meeting people’s needs.

Let me give you an example.
After preaching on a Sunday in multiple services one day, as I was attending to people, I saw many people in diverse needs. Some would tell you, I do not have where to sleep this night; others would say, I do not even know what I would eat tonight.

Remember, I had just finished preaching and was already exhausted, but they were saying, pastor, please attend to us; let us trust God for where we will sleep tonight.
What I did was to carry money in my pocket anywhere I went because I met needy people everywhere.

Beloved, God wants you to come to a point where you begin to service your generation. That is, you come to a point where you are positioned to service your generation with supplies. You do not look for money for personal comfort but to service your generation. When you make up your mind to serve God and service your generation, supplies will flow effortlessly to you.

REMEMBER THIS: Service is a blessing connector; service is a connector of supernatural supplies.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to deploy yourself maximally to the service of the Lord.
2. Always be kind and loving towards others in order to both serve and win them to God.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the wisdom and resources to serve you and my generation. Give me the grace to serve you and service my generation, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: HOW DEEP ARE YOU IN GOD?

SCRIPTURE: Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
Psalm 42:7.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Before you can have significant height in life, you must have sufficient depth.

The Will of God is for His children to move from one depth of Glory, Fire, Presence, Revelation or Light to another. This is because we serve the God of great depths and insights.

God wants us to move deeper in depth because depth determines height.

Depth is a major determinant of height. For instance, what went into the ground during the construction of the Glory Dome that nobody could see filled a depth of about twelve metres, and was worth hundreds of millions of Naira. They were all buried in the earth.

When we started the construction, we realised that a section of the foundation from a particular point to another was about two hundred and seventy-four metres.
A football field is about ninety metres. This means, the span of the foundation as well as the building itself was more than three times the length of a normal football field.

We started casting the iron into depths that could swallow an adult person. The cost of a few metres casting of concrete would be over Thirty Million Naira. This was only the casting. It was amazing.

When the foundation work was completed, every foundational structure was worth hundreds of millions of Naira and all these were buried underground. And before they were buried, I told the people to take pictures of them so we could remind ourselves what went into the ground. The height of the Glory Dome was determined, and also supported by what was buried in the ground as foundation.

The lesson here is, before you can have significant height in life, you must have sufficient depth.
Now, the question is, how deep are you in God? What is your depth in God? That determines your height in life.

Beloved, be determined to go deep in God so you can both attain and maintain significant heights in life.

REMEMBER THIS: Before you can have significant height in life, you must have sufficient depth.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Ask yourself the question, “What is my depth in God?”
2. Make up your mind to grow your depth in God so you can increase your height in life.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the necessity of growing my depth in You. I receive the grace to grow my depth in you so I can increase my height in life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE WISDOM FOR SUPERNATURAL ABUNDANCE

SCRIPTURE: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 1:2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Something must be a point of contact for something greater to be gotten.

The Scripture makes it clear that God wants all His children to be in good health and abound in prosperity. (3 John 1:2).
However, many of God’s children are still poor, either because:
a. They have not learnt God’s wisdom for supernatural abundance.
OR
b. They have refused to obey or walk in God’s wisdom for supernatural abundance.

Now, what is God’s Wisdom for supernatural supply?

It is releasing both your life and resources to God.
You must understand that in Genesis Chapter Two, God did not take the rib from Adam because he wanted to eat bones. Rather, He took the rib from Adam because he (Adam) needed an Eve. God took one rib and multiplied it into 204 bones, and then added muscles, tendons arteries, veins, capillaries, joints, ligaments, etc. and returned a woman from whom He took the rib.
You see, the miracle of supply never happens without a release. There are people who release occasionally, so they also receive occasionally.

There are those who release habitually and they live in the realm of perpetual harvest.
Even when the axe head fell into the water, the prophet demanded that a stick should be cut (2 Kings 6:1-6).
Something must be a point of contact for something greater to be gotten. When the prophet put the stick where the axe head fell, the axe came out swimming on the water.

Beloved, if the stick is too important to you, you can forfeit the axe head. Those who are sentimentally attached to the stick can never have the axe head. This principle is consistent throughout Scriptures.

Sometime ago, I emptied everything in my two mega bank accounts for a major aspect of the construction of the Glory Dome. I have been a giver at that realm before that time because nothing is too much for me to give to God.
When people struggle to pay tithe, they have not yet started because tithe is a kindergarten giving level. The lifestyle of giving is not restricted to the paying of tithes. There are other forms of giving like free will offering, giving to the poor, the priest, your parents or project giving, etc. It is living in the realm of sacrifices, and not only when the church calls for a sacrifice.

REMEMBER THIS: Something must be a point of contact for something greater to be gotten.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Refuse to be stingy towards God, His kingdom and .His people.
2. Release what is in your hands as prompted by God so you can receive what is in His Hands.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to release what You have given me so I can access greater things in Your Hands for me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: OBEDIENCE – A TRIGGER FOR ABUNDANCE

SCRIPTURE: Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
Luke 5:5.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The refusal to obey divine instruction is the acceptance of frustration.

Many years ago, while we were trusting God to roof the Glory Dome in the course of its construction, we noticed some other ministry that was struggling to roof their camp ground.
Then the Lord gave me an instruction to assist in roofing their facility as a point of contact for our expectation, and we did as the Lord said. That kind of instruction has been carried out many times in the course of our ministry.
The truth is, until your ear can hear what God is saying, your hand cannot handle what He is giving.
There is something God is saying that is connected to what He wants to give, and until your ear can hear what He is saying, your hand cannot take what He wants to give.
Your provision is connected to divine instruction. The refusal to obey divine instruction is the acceptance of frustration.

Proverb 13:18 says:
Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
This means that your supply or the provision you are looking for is tied to an instruction you need to receive and obey from God’s Word.
Peter told Jesus Christ; Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
Luke 5:5.

My counsel is, ask God to tell you what He wants you to do, and do it in order to access the supplies He is releasing to you.
Receive the grace for sensitivity and obedience to divine instructions in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: The refusal to obey divine instruction is the acceptance of frustration.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Ask God for divine instructions on the matter of supernatural abundance.
2. Diligently obey divine instructions in order to access supplies from God.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace to both receive and obey Your instructions. Open my eyes to behold wondrous things out of Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING YOUR SPIRITUAL ROOT IN CHRIST

SCRIPTURE: And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree.
Romans 11:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you are saved, Christ becomes your Root.

It has been confirmed that a major way out of any ancestral hold over your life is the understanding of your Rot in Jesus Christ. When you are saved, Christ becomes your Root.
This is because to be saved is to be engrafted into the life of Christ.

Romans 11:17 says,
And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree.
This means, whenever you are saved, your life or welfare on earth is no longer determined by your natural or ancestral root, but your spiritual root which is in Christ Jesus.

Let me share a story with you. There is a member of our Church who plays a particular instrument proficiently.
When we first met, he told me that there was a plaque of no marriage or late marriage in his family. This means, if they would marry at all, they would marry when they were almost fifty years of age. At that age, many of them still hang around and find it difficult to get married. That was the plague on this young man’s natural root.
However, as his pastor, I got married early and both he and I are now connected to the same spiritual Root in Christ Jesus. So, I prayed with him, and that spell was broken. The result: he got married way earlier than the age that his people normally got married.
Sometime ago, he told me, “Now, I go where no one in my family had ever gone and I do things no one in my family has ever done”.
Now, he has travelled to many places outside this country without struggling for visa. This was because his natural root has been changed.

Beloved, you must understand that when you are in Christ, your natural root, characterised by sin and ancestral curses has been changed to a spiritual root of holiness and blessing.

REMEMBER THIS: When you are saved, Christ becomes your Root.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Always remember and believe that in Christ, your ancestral root has been changed.
2. Believe that what followed your fathers can no longer follow you because you are in Christ.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord, for showing me what happened to me in Christ. Today, I denounce every negative thing following me from my father’s house, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: FAITH IN THE GOD WHO OWNS ALL THINGS

SCRIPTURE: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hebrews 11:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faith and supernatural supplies go together.

Some years ago, while the Glory Dome was being built, I stood on the first gallery one day watching the on-going construction.

I saw the massive volumes of concrete being mixed on the ground, machines working everywhere and hundreds of people engaged in diverse activities around different areas of the construction.
As I looked around, I thought within myself: who can build a thing like this if not God?

The money being spent monthly on the construction was in hundreds of millions.
While in this deep meditation on the greatness of God, He gave me a song:
You own the Universe
You own the silver and gold
The Earth and all its fullness
It all belongs to You
There is nothing You don’t have
There is nothing You can’t Give Lord
The Hope of the living
The Source of everything…
You see, you must have a solid faith in God who owns the universe, the silver and gold, the earth and all its fullness, to dare certain things in life (Psalm 24:1-2. Haggai 2:.

Beloved, it is possible to raise the dead, and still die in poverty because there are dimensions of faith. The faith you deploy for healing is different from the faith you deploy for supernatural supplies.

Abraham the father of supernatural supplies is also called the father of faith. Faith and supernatural supplies go together. That is why those who teach faith in our generation also teach prosperity. Faith is existence with the mentality that you cannot beg on the behalf of the God who sent you.

I counsel you to find out from the Word of God the things that need to be done for supernatural supplies to come. You need that ruggedness of faith that is developed from the Word of God in order to guarantee a steady flow of supplies.

REMEMBER THIS: Faith and supernatural supplies go together.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Ask God to shift your faith from the present dimension to a higher one.
2. Develop your faith by putting the Word of God to work.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for a shift in the dimension of my faith. Show me higher dimension of your possibilities, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE NECESITY OF THE INNER SIGHT

SCRIPTURE: And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
Genesis 13:14-15.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What is not a reality in your mind can never be a possibility in your life.

My father in the Lord, Bishop David Oyedepo once told a story about an experience he had at the Benin Airport.
He said that they were at the Airport in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, to take a flight after a programme.
At that time, the Church, Winners’ Chapel, had no aircraft yet. And at the airport at that time, there was a man who had a private aircraft. God’s servant sent someone to tell the man that he should give them a lift to Lagos before their own aircraft would arrive. That was not begging because he knew theirs would certainly arrive.

On another occasion, God’s servant said that they were in the School of Aviation Technology in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria, and they needed to go somewhere else. So, he went to where the aircrafts were parked in the school premises and told the people, “Give us one of your aircrafts; we need to go somewhere now.”
He made this demand because he knew theirs was surely going to come, and it came.
The lesson here is that those who see great results see them twice. Those who see miracle supplies and abundance see them twice, first in the mind, and then in the physical.
That is, they first see it with the eyes of the mind and then, they see it with the physical eyes.

The truth is, many of us struggle to see it physically for the first time; that is why it delays in coming.
What you do not see coming may never come. Your perception is connected to your possession. What is not a reality in your mind can never be a possibility in your life. You cannot think like a grasshopper and fly like an eagle. What crosses your mind determines what crosses your life. You need a billionaire’s mentality to become one.

Beloved, do not think like a pauper, and do not behave like one. Think and behave like you lack nothing, and very soon, you will lack nothing.

REMEMBER THIS: What is not a reality in your mind can never be a possibility in your life.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Ask God to plant His Vision in your mind.
2. Study and meditate on God’s Word always and see the pictures out of the Scriptures.
3. Make demands on God to crystalize the mental picture of the Scripture into tangible reality in your life.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace and discipline to both study and meditate on Your Word. Help me to consistently form mental pictures out of Scriptures, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE CURSE-NULLIFYING POWER OF THE BLOOD

SCRIPTURE: Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Colossians 2:14-15.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Blood of Jesus is powerful enough to cancel every bloody foundation and transaction whose consequence may be plaguing your life and destiny.

I came across the story of a young lady some time ago. Female members of her family would die before they reached the age of thirty. This was a mystery! So, they decided to do an investigation to unravel the mystery behind the premature deaths.
The investigation revealed that their ancestor was a prominent paramount ruler. When he died and was about to be buried, according to their tradition, someone was meant to ‘escort’ him to the land of the dead.
They concluded that his youngest wife, whom he loved so much, should ‘escort’ him. So, the young woman was buried alive with him.
However, when she was about to be buried alive with the dead chief, she began to rain curses. She said, “What did I do that you want to bury me alive? I vow that in this family, none of your young ladies will cross this age before they die.”
And the young woman was about thirty years of age when this happened.
Consequently, every time any female member of that family reached the age of thirty, she died mysteriously. This was because of the bloody foundation and the attendant curse in their lineage.

Similarly, there are families whose ancestors were slave dealers. Some even buried some of their slaves alive. Now, the children who are their descendants are suffering the consequences of such evil till today, except for divine intervention.
But the good news is, the Cross of Calvary is the answer to every evil foundation. The Blood of Jesus is powerful enough to cancel every bloody foundation and transaction whose consequence may be plaguing your life and destiny.

And today, I decree that by the Power in the Blood of Jesus Christ, every bloody transaction made by your ancestors that may be plaguing your life, destiny and family is deleted right now, in the Name of Jesus.

REMEMBER THIS: The Blood of Jesus is powerful enough to cancel every bloody foundation and transaction whose consequence may be plaguing your life and destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:

TOPIC: DEPLOYING THE MANTLE OF YOUR COVERING

SCRIPTURE: And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved. HOSEA 12:13.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The prophetic mantle is for the profit of God’s people.
Prophetic mantles are real.

It has been established that the prophetic mantle exists for the profit of God’s people. God delivers His children by using the face, form or appearance of the prophetic mantle He places as shepherd over them as He deems it necessary.

Now, let me give you a practical life story to illustrate the power of the prophetic mantle.

Sometime ago, a member of our church was going to Galadimawa, a suburb of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria, and fell into the hands of kidnappers in the vehicle that she boarded.
As she entered the vehicle, the kidnappers used a handkerchief to cover her nose and she lost consciousness at that moment. Before she realized what was going on, she found herself in Kubwa, another suburb of Abuja.
In the vehicle, the kidnappers were initiating the passengers and so they asked her to be part of them, but she refused. They were giving the passengers money to join their group but she refused. When you join their group, you are expected to donate the blood of an innocent new born baby every year.
Then she shouted, “Oh God of my father, Dr (Pastor) Paul Enenche, this is the right time for you to show yourself”.
They asked her if she was possessed and she said, “No.” She made demands on the mantle of her father and the mantle appeared physically in the car and she began to speak in tongues.
Everyone in the car asked her if she was a daughter of Dr Paul Enenche, and she said, “Yes!” The kidnappers told her, “Because of this pastor, we have been losing people from our kingdom; we don’t want his problem. Let us release this girl”. That was how she was released.

Today, I deploy the same mantle for the release of your life and family members from the custody of witches, wizards, kidnappers and ritual killers, in Jesus Name.

Remember this: The prophetic mantle is for the profit of God’s people.

TOPIC: THE INFLUENCE OF WRONG ASSOCIATION

SCRIPTURE: Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 CORINTHIANS 15:33.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The wrong association can lead you to eternal damnation in hell.

I met a repented armed robber many years ago. He told me how he became an armed robber through a wrong association.
He said that one day, he asked a friend for money when he was passing through some challenges of life. He said the friend responded by giving him Two hundred thousand Naira to eat and drink.

Afterwards, the same friend told him, “Well, you can join me in what I do. I will not give you money anymore, but I can teach you how to make money.”
After he spent the Two Hundred Thousand Naira that was given to him, he went back to the friend to ask for more, but the friend told him, “I will not give you money anymore except you agree to do what I am doing.”
So, the friend took him to a witch doctor who imparted him with some fetish concoctions. From that moment, the human feeling in him died and he was turned into another man. That was when he realised that he was initiated into armed robbery. Afterwards, he began to rob and kill people effortlessly.
You see, the wrong association can lead you to eternal damnation in hell.
Then at a point in his life, he said a man appeared to him in an open vision and said, “Follow me, let me show you where you belong,” and the man showed him the flames of hell. The man in the revelation told him, “That is where you belong. Now, go and change your life,” and the man disappeared. That was how God saved him.
In our world today, just like the man in this story, there are many people indulging in all manner of vices because of bad associations.

Beloved, I counsel you to break away from the every wrong association so you can escape destruction on earth and the flames of hell in eternity.

Remember this: the wrong association can lead you to eternal damnation in hell.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Disconnect from every wrong association in your life.
2. Make up your mind not to follow anyone to hell fire, if they will not follow you to heaven.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from every wrong and evil association. Lead me to relate with the right people that will assist me fulfil Your Purpose on earth and make eternity in Heaven at the end of my journey, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

SCRIPTURE: When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? MATTHEW 16:13

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What do people know you to be?

In the year 2010, when Billy Graham celebrated his 92nd birthday, he told people a very heart-touching story about Albert Einstein, the famous scientist.

According to the story, Albert Einstein was in a train travelling to a place. Then, the train conductor began to move from seat to seat to check passenger’s tickets to confirm those who had paid the train fare.
When the conductor came to Albert Einstein, Einstein checked his pocket and everywhere but could not find his ticket. The train conductor saw how desperate Albert Einstein was. Then the conductor said to him, “Albert Einstein, I know you. Do not bother looking for it. You cannot cheat us. I know who you are, just that you cannot find your train ticket.”
The conductor went on to other passengers and kept on checking for their tickets.

The question is, what do people know you to be? If someone knows you, what or who does the person know you to be?
As the train conductor continued checking, he returned and still saw Albert Einstein looking for the ticket. Then he said to Albert Einstein, “I said we know who you are, and so you should not bother. Why are you still looking for the ticket?”
Then Albert Einstein said to the conductor, “Conductor, you know who I am. I also know who I am and where I am coming from. But my problem is that I do not know where I am going. I need to check the ticket to know where I’m going.”
What a confession! It is not enough to know who you are; it is important to know where you are going.

Beloved, if anything had happened to you last night, would you have made it to heaven?
Who are you, and
Where are you going?

Remember this: What do people know you to be?

TOPIC: UNFORGIVENESS – HINDRANCE TO ETERNITY IN HEAVEN

SCRIPTURE: And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men. ACTS 24:16

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Unforgiveness is dangerous; it hinders a person’s access to Heaven.

Many years ago, I heard the story of one great man of God. There was a time this man of God fasted for seventy days and also did all manner of great exploits for God.
One day, he had an experience that in a dream, it appeared that his time on earth was up. He appeared before God in heaven, and the Lord told him that he was not qualified to be in heaven for two reasons.

The first reason was that he had not assigned the ministry committed into his hands to the next person since his time on earth was up.

The second reason was unforgiveness. He was not qualified to enter heaven because of unforgiveness. There was someone he had grudges against, and for that reason, he was not qualified to be in heaven. Interestingly, the person he had the grudges against was his classroom teacher in primary school. The teacher probably maltreated him while he was in school.
When he woke up from the dream encounter, he began to look for his primary school teacher in order to amend his relationship with him. At this point, the teacher was already advanced in age.

You see, unforgiveness is dangerous; it hinders a person’s access to Heaven.
The most devastating thing that can happen to anyone is to find oneself in eternal damnation in hell, not because one was a killer, prostitute or an armed robber but because there was someone they did not release from their heart.

Beloved, by all means, maintain a conscience that is devoid of offence towards God and men.

Remember this: Unforgiveness is dangerous; it hinders a person’s access to Heaven.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Refuse to allow unforgiveness to take you to hell.
2. By all means, maintain a conscience that is devoid of offence towards God and men.

AMAZING FACT: In general, the atmosphere is thickest closer to the surface. If you go upwards 5500 meters, air pressure is half that at sea level. So this means you have to breathe about twice as much to get same amount of oxygen. We live in the troposphere where all weather occurs.

TOPIC: LIGHT, A CURE TO DARKNESS

SCRIPTURE: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. ISAIAH 60:1.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God can show you a light from Scripture that would make you domesticate and humiliate the devil.

Sometime ago, I was about to go in for the Healing and Deliverance Service, and God opened my eyes to a Scripture that said that the shadow of Peter healed the sick (Acts 5:15).
That was a great light! After seeing this light, I asked myself, “If the shadow of Peter healed the sick, why do I have to struggle for people to be healed.” I realised that there was something inside Peter that fell on people as he passed and that thing overshadowed their afflictions.

You know, many times, revelation gives rise to provocation. When you see something from God’s Word, you get positively infuriated.
So, I came into that service with a holy anger as I walked from my seat to the altar. On reaching the altar, I told the people, “As I just walked up the altar now, sicknesses have disappeared from the bodies of people. Check yourselves, if you are healed, come out and testify.”
I was amazed as I saw people who were healed rushing out to testify. When I saw them, I said to them, “I did not say that people who want to be healed should come out, but it is people who were healed as I walked from my seat to the altar that should come out”.
As I tried to explain to them, more people trooped out.
This happened because light is reflective; every time you connect light, it kills darkness.

God can show you a light from Scripture that would make you domesticate and humiliate the devil. The darkness of affliction saw the light flaming in my eyes as I mounted the pulpit, and all manner of afflictions checked out of people.

By the apostolic mantle of fire on my life, I decree the opening of the door of light and insight for you, in Jesus’ Name. I proclaim healing and health to every part of your life, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: God can show you a light from Scripture that would make you domesticate and humiliate the devil.

But the following day, the bulldog would go again to engage the big dog in a fight. And again, the big dog would beat it so severely that it would run home.
Refusing to give up, the next day, the bulldog would go again and the big dog would beat it as usual. This continued until the big dog got tired.
One day, the bulldog was going to engage the big dog in a fight as usual, but when the big dog saw it coming, it started running. The big dog seemed to have said to itself, “I can beat you but I am tired of this fight. Let me agree that you have won so I can rest.’’

Beloved, you need such a degree of tenacity to fight and overcome all the forces that are trying to resist your destiny. You need a degree of wearilessnes, tirelessness, resilience, indefatigability and indomitability to win the battles of life and destiny.
Isaac refused to be tired of digging wells even though he had previously dug several wells and people strove with him. One day, his enemies got tired; they could not stop him anymore. That gave him his Rehoboth, his place of rest (Genesis 26:19 -22).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whenever a structure outgrows its foundation, collapse is inevitable.

I heard the story of a man was seen begging in front of a particular church. He was so wretched that he had nothing to eat, and so he took to begging in front of a church.
Then with a strong mantle, the pastor of that church prophesied on the man and he rose from that position of poverty and wretchedness and became very wealthy within six weeks of the prophetic word released on him. His life drastically and automatically turned around. In the twinkling of an eye, his life changed from being a beggar to having unbelievable wealth.
Unfortunately, when he became rich, he grew wings. One day, they told this beggar-turned-wealthy man that the pastor wanted to see him, and he arrogantly said, “Which pastor?”
They told him, “The pastor who prayed for you before God lifted you. Well, do not forget to pay your tithe or to give God’s portion to God so that heaven can remain open over your life and endeavours.”
The man said, “I should pay my tithe, to whom? To which church?”
When they told the pastor about the arrogant behaviour of this man, the pastor said, “Where he is now is too big for him. Where he was before was more handable and he would be more comfortable there. The time it took for him to rise is the same time it will take him to crash.”
Do you know what happened? After six weeks of these words, the man was back to his former position. He became a wretched beggar again.
This happened so that he may learn that man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeded from the Mouth of God (Matthew 4:4).
You see, it does not matter how big you grow, you must remain small in your own eyes because whenever a tree outgrows its roots, its end has come. Whenever a structure outgrows its foundation, collapse is inevitable.

There was a fight between Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson, two American professional boxers, many years ago.
Before the fight, Mike Tyson was the heavyweight boxing title holder. He was the champion in charge. Evander Holyfield had a heart condition and he was prayed for. He was healed and decided to give his life to Christ. He became a dedicated Christian and always attended a church in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. At the same time, Mike Tyson was busy missing road and squandering his life carelessly.
Then Evander Holyfield engaged Mike Tyson in the fight. The powerful, title-holding Mike Tyson lost his title to Evander Holyfield.
Mike Tyson had about one hundred Rolls Royce cars and also one hundred suits to match the colour of each of the Rolls Royce (from what I heard).
He lost the title to Evander Holyfield and crashed.
Now this is the point: that Evander Holyfield beat Mike Tyson does not mean that Mike Tyson cannot beat another boxer. It only means that Mike Tyson is under control where Evander Holy Field is present.

How does this apply to your life?

Jesus beat the devil. He made a public show of Satan. He defeated the devil. He stripped the devil of his title, but the devil is still on rampage on the earth against those who are ignorant of this revelation. Even God’s children who have decided to allow the devil have his way in their lives are still suffering under his wickedness.

Beloved, it is important for you to understand the fallen position of the enemy. Know that you are dealing with a defeated devil. You are dealing with a fallen devil. No matter how wicked the witches and wizards in your community are, their father is a defeated devil. Knowing that you are dealing with a defeated devil keeps him under your control.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you commit immorality and iniquity generally, you become more vulnerable to any attack that can come through the enemy.

Some time ago, my wife, Dr (Mrs) Becky Enenche, overheard the conversations of two prostitutes at the Transcorp Hilton, a 5-star hotel in Abuja, Nigeria.

One of them was telling the other person, “I do not know what happened to me the other night. There was this man I met and slept with, and since then my body has been very hot”. After listening to them, she decided to preach salvation to them.

You see, it was possible that the man she slept with was an altar himself.

The truth is, when you commit immorality and iniquity genrally, you become more vulnerable to any attack that can come through the enemy. You become vulnerable in a greater dimension because of the direct attack on your faith. (Psalm 28:1).

Any little fever, the devil says, “Maybe it is that immorality or sin you committed. You had better go and check yourself. Go and check your health status.”
Every little cough, the devil would say, “It may be from that immorality or sin you committed last month. You should go for a blood test”. Then fear comes, and when fear comes, attack and disaster follow.
Job 3:25 says:
For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

Beloved, do your best to ensure that by the grace of God, you are not a victim of this kind of transfer. The transaction of immorality and iniquity is beyond the flesh. Immorality joins minds to minds, and connects spirits with spirits. The point of contact is just a gateway for dual carriage access to many negative things.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When there is no focus, disaster is inevitable.

In October 1988, God delivered and preserved me from a car crash.
The driver of the vehicle I boarded overtook another driver who was also on high speed. Both drivers were overtaking each other in turns until the two vehicles came to a bend and could not overtake each other again anymore and that resulted in a fatal crash.
You see, the drivers were trying to demonstrate their expertise by overtaking one another when it was not necessary. That was a practical manifestation of foolishness.

Ecclesiastes 7:17 says:
Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?
When the overtaking became dangerous and the accident occurred, I felt my head touch the ground.
I cannot explain how God delivered me from the crash. I saw myself sitting on the ground and my luggage was beside me. There was the loss of life as a result of that auto crash. What a disaster!
This is what happens when people take their focus away from where they are going. Disaster is inevitable when people lose their focus. When people are engaged in needless competition with each other instead of being focused on their individual assignments, disasters become imminent.
When someone, all of a sudden, begins to challenge you saying, “Who do you think you are? I can do anything you think you can do”. Leave such a person alone and face your life. Let him do what he wants. Face God and He will take you to your destiny.
Whenever you agree to strive, your focus is taken away from where you are meant to be going in life. When you agree to strive, another person becomes your focus. Strife makes another person’s success your focus. When there is no focus, disaster is inevitable. And focus is distracted where strife is established.

Remember this: When there is no focus, disaster is inevitable.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When the mind is made up, anything is possible.

It has been confirmed that the mind of man is the gateway to the world of possibility. When the mind is mad up, anything is possible.

Many years ago, I had a programme at Kogi State University, Anyigba, Kogi State, Nigeria. In the programme, I was supposed to preach on Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning and evening, and then on Thursday.
I had a very hectic schedule the previous week. On the Tuesday of the meeting, after preaching and ministering in our weekly Healing and Deliverance Service, which ended around 2pm, I thought of how I would spend nothing less than four hours on the road trip from Abuja to Kogi State. I imagined how rough the road was. Then my body said, “Reschedule this meeting”.
So, I picked up the phone and called the pastor at Anyigba and told him that I would be coming for the programme the next day and that someone else should stand in my place to preach that Tuesday evening. I told him how I had a hectic schedule the previous week, and how I just finished ministering at the Healing and Deliverance Service, and so I needed a little rest. I told him I may not be able to be on the road for four hours and then preach in the evening.
Then he said, “Alright sir. We will be expecting you tomorrow sir”.
I went further to ask him how everything was at the venue of the programme, and he said, “Everything is fine. People have been coming to the venue of the program since 12pm in the afternoon for a program that was to hold by 6:30pm in the evening. The place is already thickly filled with people”.
When he said that people have begun to gather since 12 O’ clock, the tiredness in me died. All of a sudden, my mind saw how possible the journey would be. Immediately, I left Abuja for Anyigba, and arrived at the venue of the program before evening.
This was because I got a piece of information that changed my mind and moved my body. Once my mind was adjusted by the information, the body moved. Truly, when the mind is made up, anything is possible.

Remember this: When the mind is made up, anything is possible.

Some years ago, I travelled to a country and a man, a Nigerian, who decided to do illegal business in that country, came to me for prayer.
In that country, I heard that Nigerians were known for doing all manner of things to get money. When this man came to meet me so I could pray for his illegal business to succeed, I asked him what he wanted. He said he was carrying ‘package’ and I should pray that he should reach destination successfully. Instantly, I realised he was referring to the trafficking of drugs. And this was a South American country.
I looked at him and said, “If I curse you now, you will die! You want me to pray for you to succeed in illegitimacy? What kind of useless money are you looking for? As preachers, do you think we are playing with what we are preaching?”
Only the Mercy of God prevented me from cursing him.
At the end, I asked him to kneel down and hand his life over to God.
Can you see what the love of money can do to a person? He was in that country for five years doing an illegal business because of the love of money. May God help Nigeria and Nigerians because of the damage people like that man have caused the image of this country all over the world, all because of the love of money. The love of money or greed, is one of the things that must die in this nation.

As a child of God, there are businesses you should never do because they are bad.

The love of money kills the conscience of man. That is why some people trade in human parts and send other people to their early graves to get money. Others kill, rob and engage in all manner of illicit businesses to get money. Some sell alcohol to men and make these men divorce their wives, thereby rendering their children destitute.

Beloved, do not murder your conscience with the love of money. Do not engage in evil acts to get money. It is possible to be rich without compromising your conscience and values. You can combine holiness with affluence, and integrity with prosperity.

Remember this: The love of money kills the conscience of man.

Sometime ago, I heard a story: A young man who had a Master’s Degree in Architecture decided to go to a building construction site and began to carry blocks with other labourers because that was what he found to do at the time.
In the course of carrying blocks, the owner of the project site observed how different he was from the rest of the labourers. It seemed that since he had a Master’s Degree, he carried his own blocks in a master’s style; he carried his blocks with decorum while the other labourers carried theirs in agbero style, that is, locally, unprofessionally and without decorum.
So, the owner of the construction site called him and told him, “You are different from all these people. Who are you?”
He replied, “I am an Architect”.
The site owner was amazed and said, “What! Archi-what? Architect? What level?”
He replied that he had a Master’s Degree in Architecture.
The owner of the project site asked again, “Masters in Architecture? Then what are you doing here carrying blocks as a labourer?”
The young man said, “It is because there is no job, and I cannot be idle. So, I have to do something to pay my bills”.
Immediately, the site owner made him the Project Architect. It is very interesting to know that this particular young man is now a billionaire and has many properties in town.
This young man refused to be idle. He destroyed idleness by doing what he found and today, God has lifted him.

Beloved, by all means, destroy idleness in your life. To work is to both work and walk your way to the top.

Sometime ago, there was this vibrant Christian brother on fire who always prayed every 12 midnight. Then he decided to assist a sister who had accommodation challenge to live with him in his apartment pending when she got her own accommodation.

As they began to live together, the first and second nights the lady stayed with him, the midnight prayer voice of the brother was still heard in the neighbourhood as usual.

But by the third night, the volume of his voice began to reduce, and later, his voice was no longer heard at midnight again. This was how he lost his spiritual fire. What happened to him? Your guess is as good as mine.

What kind of overconfidence was that? That was a foolish risk.

Similarly, there was a young Christian lady who preached a hot and fireful message of salvation to a former boyfriend of hers. Then the man said to her, “Your message is very interesting. Please come and tell me more about this Gospel of Salvation in the hotel where I am lodged”.

Foolishly, the lady followed him to his hotel room. And at the end, they both ended up in immorality. It turned out that it was the former boyfriend who “preached” to her at the end.

What is my counsel to you? Be careful so you don’t fall. Decide to stand firm with God by being careful. Avoid over-confidence in your walk with God.
