FRIDAY JANUARY 11,"2019

SCRIPTURE": Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John,"and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4":13.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To release dedication to God is to command the attention of both Divinity and humanity.

The Scripture makes it clear that one thing God requires from His children is their dedication to Him (Matthew 6:33). God is attracted to people who are dedicated and devoted to Him and His Cause on the earth; He proves Himself in the lives of dedicated people.

Now,"the question is, how does God prove Himself in the lives of dedicated people?
It is by distinguishing them from other people.
God distinguishes the dedicated by showing them to the world to let everyone know that they are not wasting their lives and time in serving Him; God makes the people of the world to know that people who are dedicated to Him are exceptionally different from other people.

Let me give you an example": Simon Peter was an unlearned and ignorant fisherman who decided to be dedicated to God. God honoured him by distinguishing him from other people; his life stood out from the rest by virtue of dedication. In Acts 4:13,"we understand that when the people who knew how he was before he met Jesus saw how his life had turned around totally after his relationship with Jesus Christ, they were amazed. That is what God can do in the life of a dedicated person. Peter’s life was totally transformed by His dedication to Jesus. The only thing people could say was that he had been with Jesus Christ. Indeed, God distinguishes dedicated people.

Beloved, to release dedication to God is to command the attention of both Divinity and humanity. To release dedication to God is to be singled out from the crowd.

Remember this": To release dedication to God is to command the attention of both Divinity and humanity.

1. Make up your mind to follow Jesus Christ like Peter did no matter the cost.
2. Decide not to follow the crowd but the principles of God’s Word for your life.

TOPIC: DIVIDENDS OF DEDICATION

THURSDAY JANUARY 10,"2019

SCRIPTURE": I have not spoken in secret,"in a dark place of the earth": I said not unto the seed of Jacob,"Seek ye me in vain": I the Lord speak righteousness,"I declare things that are right. Isaiah 45":19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Dedication attracts the Presence and Secrets of God to the dedicated.

In our study yesterday,"we saw the need to seek God first above other things in life; we saw that people who seek God first in life never come out last in life. Therefore, dedication is key to distinction in life.
Today, it is very important to look at the dividends of seeking God first in life. There are dividends that are attached to the lifestyle of dedication to God. There are dividends to be enjoyed by the dedicated. God has not called us to seek Him in vain (Isaiah 45":19).

So,"what are the dividends of dedication?
i. Access to God’s Presence and Secrets
Abraham had access to God’s Presence and Secrets because he was brutally dedicated to God. In Genesis 18":17-18,"God revealed to him what He (God) wanted to do even when Abraham did not ask Him. So, dedication attracts the Presence and Secrets of God to the dedicated.

ii. Access to Supernatural Supplies in the midst of scarcity
When there was no food in the whole land of Israel, Elijah, a dedicated person and prophet of God, had continuous supernatural supplies; God sent a raven to feed him and also multiplied the food of the widow for his sake (1 Kings 17":11-16).

iii. Availability of God’s Presence and Power in the midst of challenges
Shadrach,"Meshach and Abednego were cast into the burning fiery furnace as a result of their dedication to God but God stepped into the furnace with them to confirm that He does not abandon the dedicated (Daniel 3":25). When you are dedicated to God,"He steps into every challenge of your life to rescue you.

Beloved, my counsel is, make up your mind to be totally dedicated to God.

Remember this": Dedication attracts the Presence and Secrets of God to the dedicated.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to be dedicated to God at all cost.
2. Decide not to serve God because of what you can get from Him but for Who He is.

TOPIC: PLACING GOD FIRST IN LIFE – KEY TO A YEAR OF FULFILMENT

WEDNESDAY JANUARY 9,"2019

SCRIPTURE": Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6: 33.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To place or put God first in your life is to come first in life.

There are visions,"aspirations, ambitions, goals and targets that one usually sets at the beginning of every year to realize, attain or achieve within the year. At times, these could be part of a decision package commonly referred to as New Year resolutions.

Today, being the ninth day of January, I am convinced that you might have set out your visions, desires, aspirations and ambitions for the year. But even if you have not yet done that, it is very necessary to see things in the eyes of the spirit before they arrive.

Now, it is important to know one key that would make you achieve your goals this year, and that is your dedication to God. It is not just enough to set goals and targets for the year; it is important to know and serve the God who would ensure that you are alive to see them come to pass and make them possible in your life.

According to our anchor Scripture, when you seek God first, other things would be added to you.

Beloved, the place you give to God in your life determines the place you would occupy in life. When you seek God first in life, you cannot come last in life. This is because God proves Himself in the lives of dedicated people, that is, those who seek Him first in their lives. Abraham was one great example of a person who was dedicated to God by placing God first above everything in life. In Abraham’s generation, he was ahead of everyone in everything. This means, to place God first in life is to come out first in life. When God is first in your life, you cannot come last in life.

My counsel is, make up your mind to be brutally dedicated to God this year and beyond. Make God the first priority of your life and you will stand out in life.

Remember this": To place or put God first in your life is to come first in life.

SCRIPTURE": And he said,"Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel": for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men,"and hast prevailed. Genesis 32":28.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It takes an encounter to count in your generation; and it takes an encounter to counter the agenda of the devil around your life.
It has been established that Divine possibility is a function of human responsibility. When man meets God’s requirements,"he sees breakthrough in life. One reason why many people remain at the same spot is refusal or failure to meet the demands for lift and shift in life.

Previously, we saw four demands for supernatural lift and shift as desperation, supplication, revelation and sensitivity. Today, we shall see yet another demand for a lift and shift in life, and that is DIVINE ENCOUNTER.

Divine Encounter is a destiny up-lifter. Divine encounter is a doorway to life’s turnaround. When God meets you, things change. Abraham encountered God and his life changed (Genesis 12":1-5). It takes an encounter to count in your generation; and it takes an encounter to counter the agenda of the devil around your life. One encounter changed the destiny of Jacob from being Jacob,"a person to becoming Israel, a nation (Genesis 32":28); one encounter with God lifted Moses (Exodus 3:1-12).

Beloved,"we are in the season of Divine encounter and God shall encounter you in Jesus’ Name.
Now, how do you get a Divine Encounter?
i. Desire it (Psalm 63":1-2).
You can desire an encounter. Ask God to do something new in your life.
ii. Reposition your life for Divine encounter. (Revelation 1:10). John was in the spirit and he had an encounter with the Lord.

Beloved,"I prophesy the grace to be in the spirit in order to experience Divine encounter in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this": It takes an encounter to count in your generation; and it takes an encounter to counter the agenda of the devil around your life.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Ask God for an encounter that will change your level.
2. Make up your mind to continue to remain in the spirit.

SCRIPTURE": To every thing there is a season,"and a time to every purpose under the heaven": Ecclesiastes 3:1

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: People remain on the same spot when they miss their time or seasons of life; God only makes all things beautiful in His time.

It has been confirmed that one demand or requirement for lift in life is sensitivity to Divine timings and seasons. God is not only a God of purpose but also a God of seasons and timing. God has scheduled a shift for your life and destiny and there is a time for it (Ecclesiastes 3:1). People remain on the same spot when they miss their time or seasons in life. God only makes all things beautiful in His time (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Now,"let me give you two key thoughts on sensitivity":
i. Destiny is born when purpose marries season.
Destiny is delivered as a child when purpose marries season.

ii. Change happens when the right action meets the right timing.
It is important to note that the day of Pentecost did not meet the apostles eating or drinking but praying in the Upper Room in Jerusalem (Acts 2:1) because they understood Divine timing. There are people whose day of Pentecost (or day of visitation) would meet them in lousiness,"laziness, lying, cheating, backbiting, feasting etc. When God wants them to be fasting, they are eating.

Daniel understood Divine timing and that understanding made him to pray; hence, his prayer delivered the nation of Israel from captivity (Daniel 9":2).

Beloved,"my counsel is, ask God to help you never to miss your Divine timing and season. Take nothing for granted as far as it pertains to Divine agenda for your life.

Remember this": People remain on the same spot when they miss their time or seasons in life; God only makes all things beautiful in His time.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Be sensitive to Divine timing and seasons.
2. Always be in tune with God in order not to miss your Divine timing and seasons.

PRAYER: O Lord,"I ask that You help me to be sensitive to Divine timing and seasons of my life, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: SUPPLICATION FOR A LIFT AND SHIFT IN LIFE

SATURDAY JANUARY 5,"2019

SCRIPTURE": And as he prayed,"the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering. Luke 9":29

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When people are desperate for God,"they express it at the place of prayer.

It has been confirmed that there are demands for supernatural liftings and shifting in life. God is interested in lifting His children, but not many people are lifted by God because not everyone meets the demands for supernatural lifting. Now, one of the demands of lifting and shifting in life is supplication.

Supplication is done at the place of prayer; desperation leads to supplication. When people are desperate for God, they express it at the place of prayer.

Now, let me give you two key thoughts on supplication":
i. Prayer changes people more than it changes things.
People think that the purpose of praying is just to change a situation but the man who prays is changed by his prayer (Luke 9:29).

ii. Supplication and intercession would lead to intensification,"magnification and amplification.
This means, your life cannot remain little if you know how to pray. Jacob prayed until he was changed from being Jacob to becoming Israel (Genesis 32":28). Jacob is a person,"but Israel is a nation. Jacob is a capacity and Israel is also a capacity; Jacob is an individual capacity while Israel is a nation’s capacity. A change in capacity happens at the place of prayer.

My Counsel is, first, be specific in prayer. Jacob made up his mind not to let God go until He had blessed him (Genesis 32":26). Second,"refuse to quit until the answer comes (Genesis 32":26).

Beloved,"if you are specific in prayer and you refuse to quit or give up on God, you will surely experience a lift and shift in life.

Remember this": When people are desperate for God,"they express it at the place of prayer.

ASSIGNMENTS":
1. Make up your mind to pray continually.
2. Depend on God at the place of prayer for a lift and shift in life.

PRAYER: O Lord,"pour on me the Spirit of grace and supplication in Jesus’ Name (Zechariah 12":10).

TOPIC: DESPERATION FOR A LIFT AND SHIFT

SCRIPTURE": And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. Genesis 32:24

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Desperation breaks existence in stagnation; desperation brings elevation.

It has been confirmed that desperation is a demand for Divine lift in life. To be desperate or passionate after God is to be lifted by Him.

Now,"how does desperation lift a person? Desperation breaks existence in stagnation; desperation brings elevation. When you come to a point and say, ‘Things cannot continue the way they have been in my life; my life must change’, then you are ready for a change of level. It was by desperation that Jacob changed his levels (Genesis 32":24).

Ruth also changed level by desperation (Ruth 1:17). Even as a Moabite,"she was named in the genealogy of Jesse and King David of the royal tribe of Judah, the ancestral lineage of our Lord Jesus Christ by desperation (Ruth 4":17). People change levels by desperation; people experience lifts and shifts in life by desperation.

I want you to take note of two key facts on desperation:
i. Life becomes dynamic when people become desperate.
As long as people are satisfied with where they are,"they are stagnated in life.

ii. Changes become drastic when people become desperate.
People change levels drastically in life when they become desperate.

Now, let me give you two keys to desperation":
i. Refuse to die on the same spot in all areas of life.
ii. Refuse to take ‘No’ for an answer (Matthew 11:12).

Beloved,"as you take these steps, I see you experiencing supernatural lifts and shifts in life, in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this": Desperation breaks existence in stagnation; desperation brings elevation.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Develop an unquenchable passion for God and His Presence.
2. Refuse to be satisfied in life until God changes your level.

PRAYER: O Lord,"I ask that You give me a fresh baptism of unquenchable passion for You. Draw me closer to Your Presence Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE DEMANDS FOR GOD’S LIFTING

SCRIPTURE: And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. Genesis 32:24

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: There is no possibility without responsibility; there is no success without secrets.

It has been confirmed that God is a Lifter and Shifter of human lives and destinies (Romans 1:17, Proverbs 4:18, 2 Corinthians 3:18); God has lifted me as a person and is still lifting me; and He has shifted us as a church and is still lifting us and would continue to lift us.

However, it is important to know that supernatural lifts and shifts happen for those who meet the demands. There is no possibility without responsibility; there is no success without secrets. There are demands for experiencing lifts and shifts of life. It is only those who meet these demands that experience a lift and shift in life.

Now, the question is, what do we do to experience a lift and shift of our life and destiny to the next level?
i. Desperation (Genesis 32:26)
Desperation breaks existence in stagnation and in the status quo; desperation brings elevation.

ii. Supplication (Genesis 32:26)
Supplication is key to lifting and shifting; desperation leads to supplication and intercession.

iii. Revelation
This refers to the revelation of the Word. When your word comes, your lift comes (Psalm 105:17-20).

iv. Sensitivity
You need sensitivity to Divine timing and signals in order to experience a lift and shift in life. God is not only the God of purpose but also the God of seasons and timing (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

v. Divine Encounter (Genesis 32:27)
Divine encounter is a destiny up-lifter. Divine encounter is a doorway to life’s turnaround. When God meets you, things change.

Beloved, my counsel is, combine desperation, supplication, revelation, sensitivity with divine encounter and you will surely experience drastic lift and shift of life and destiny.

Remember this: There is no possibility without responsibility; there is no success without secrets.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Go through today’s message again thoroughly and thoughtfully.
2. Make up your mind to meet the demands of supernatural lift and shift in order to be lifted in life.

PRAYER: O Lord, I ask for the grace for desperation, supplication and diligent study of Your Word. Help me Lord, to be sensitive to divine timing and signals in order to experience a lift and shift in life and destiny, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

SCRIPTURE": They go from strength to strength,"every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. Psalm 84":7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is natural with God to lift and shift the lives and destinies of His children.

Previously,"we established that we have and serve a God of supernatural lift and shift; it is natural with God to lift and shift the lives and destinies of His children to higher levels. (Psalm 84":7).

Now,"to buttress this point, there are scriptural examples of people whose lives God lifted and shifted in order to confirm that He is a Lifter and Shifter of lives and destinies. A few of them are":

i. Abraham
Abraham had a pagan background that tied him down in penury and poverty,"then God encountered, lifted and shifted him. He became the father of the blessing and of faith (Joshua 24":2,"Genesis 12":1-5).

ii. Moses
Moses was a wanted murderer and vagabond who ran away from Pharaoh,"but God encountered, lifted, shifted and turned him into a deliverer and a captain of His people (Exo. 2":11-25,"Exo. 3":1-12).

iii. Joseph
Joseph,"a slave and prisoner in a foreign land was lifted and shifted by God; he became a generational leader who changed systems in his time (Genesis 41":38-44).

iv. Elisha
Elisha,"a mechanized farmer encountered God and his life was lifted and shifted to the next level prophetically; he became a prophet after the order of Prophet Elijah and inherited a double portion of Elijah’s anointing. (2 Kings 2":9-12).

v. Queen Esther
Esther was a little orphan slave girl who was lifted by God unto becoming the queen of the most powerful empire that existed in her time. (Esther 2:8-17).

Beloved,"God lifted and shifted these people and He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13":. The good news is,"He shall lift and shift your life this season. So, get ready for a shift of life and destiny.

Happy New Year! You are welcome to a New Year,"2019. We appreciate God for His Mercies over our lives in the previous year, 2018. I want to let you know that your crossing over into this New Year is a confirmation of God’s readiness to lift and shift your life and destiny to the next level and phase of life (Revelation 4":1).

It has been confirmed that we have and serve a God of supernatural lift and shift; it is natural with God to lift and shift lives and destinies up to higher levels. It is the character and nature of God to lift and shift His people up to greater heights. He is delighted when His people are lifted and shifted up in life. So, I decree that God shall lift and shift your life this season in Jesus’ Name.

My counsel is, make up your mind to identify with the God of lift and shift; always be in contact with God who lifts and shifts lives and destinies up so He can lift and shift your life to the next level.

MONDAY,"DECEMBER 31, 2018

SCRIPTURE": ...in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Presence of God carries the light of God and the light terminates the darkness of life.

God does not derive any pleasure from the captivity and bondage of His children. It is not God’s will for His children to be under the bondage of the devil. We were created to experience the freedom of God (John 8:32,"36).
Now, it has been confirmed that the major secret of breaking the bondages of life is the Presence of God. Chains and captivities have no capacity to survive the Presence of God, be it the reproach of sin, failure or frustration etc.

The Presence of God is a liberating Presence (2 Corinthians 3":17). The Presence of God carries the Light of God and that Light terminates the darkness of life.

Now,"how can you connect God’s presence to break the bondages of life?
1. Avoid the life of disobedience
Disobedience to God invites bondage. The life of iniquity is the anchor for bondage. People suffer from untold hardship because they do things against God’s instruction.

2. Live in God’s Divine Presence
The Presence of God is a liberating presence. Whenever we are too busy for God, we are in a hurry to be bound by the devil. We must invest in the spirit rather than the flesh because the flesh is prone to destruction.

3. Avoid the life of cover-up
Do not hide your challenges and weaknesses from God.

Beloved, I decree that every spirit of disobedience, cover-up, doubt and unbelief is terminated from your life. Receive a fresh passion for His Presence, in Jesus’ Name.

SCRIPTURE": And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,"even so must the Son of man be lifted up": That whosoever believeth in him should not perish,"but have eternal life. John 3":14-15

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: As Jesus was lifted up on the Cross,"every sickness and disease of man was crucified with Him.

The children of Israel left the land of Egypt and journeyed through the wilderness with God covering them with His Presence. God fed them with manna but they were not satisfied. They became very discouraged, depressed and agitated and began to speak against Moses and against God. As a result, God released dangerous snakes into their midst and it began to kill them. The people cried to Moses and God told Moses to mould a brass fiery serpent and lift it up on a pole, that anyone bitten by the serpents on the ground should look up at the serpent on the pole and live.

Now, the serpent that was lifted up represented Jesus Christ lifted on the Cross of Calvary. This implies that as Jesus was lifted up on the cross, every sickness and disease of man was crucified with Him. Therefore, as long as you look up at the Cross, you are not permitted to die before your time. This means, looking up unto Jesus Christ on the Cross with your eyes of faith is the key to your healing and deliverance.

Beloved, my counsel is, stop looking at the symptoms and challenges affecting you; keep looking up at Jesus Christ on the Cross who is the solution to every sickness, and you would see the healing of God in your life.

REMEMBER THIS": As Jesus was lifted up on the Cross,"every sickness and disease of man was crucified with Him.

Those who walk in God’s covenant enjoy His covering. A person with a high level of commitment to God is a candidate for substantial Divine covering and preservation.

There are Scriptural examples of people who walked with God in covenant and enjoyed God’s covering, protection and preservation":

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you look at determines what you will look like.

Yesterday,"we saw that one major feature of the journey to the top is joy and excitement. You cannot feel low and fly high in life. Weight is the enemy of speed. You cannot be weighed down and go up in life. If you want God to take you up, you must release Joy.

Now, what is your secret of joy? It is the maintenance of FOCUS ON GOD.
Keeping your focus on God and on His Word and promises for your life is a major key to living a joyful life. If you want joy in your life, then do not focus on where you are; focus on where you are going. Because Jesus could see Himself sitting at the right Hand of God, glorified, it gave Him the capacity to endure the Cross (Hebrews 12":2). When you focus on the ultimate,"you can escape the immediate. Being joyful is your choice; you can either choose to be happy or sad.

Now, what do you focus on?
1. Focus on the revelations of the Word of God about your life, health, marriage, fruitfulness, etc. What you look at determines what you will look like. If you at it, you will get there (2Corinthians 3":18) (Joshua 1:.

2. Focus on what God has put in your heart concerning your future and connect it with the Word of God (Psalm 45:1).

SCRIPTURE": Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,"I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. Habakkuk 3":18,"19.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY": If the top is your destination,"then excitement is your vehicle.

One of the major features of rising to the top is joy and excitement. Joy and excitement are necessary ingredients in the journey to the top. That is why if the top is your destination, then excitement is your vehicle. The top has no vacancy for depressed people. Sad people have no access to the top. If you must go high, you must feel high. Excitement brings upliftment. You cannot feel low, and fly high.

Now, what does Joy do for you?
1. Joy brings strength (Nehemiah 8":10). Joy brings strength and strength takes you to the top. A depressed person is a lethargic,"weak and asthenic person. A depressed person cannot go up because he is bankrupt of strength.

2. Joy brings wisdom. Excitement is a mental ventilator. When a person is excited, his mind is open to fresh ideas. Anywhere there is joy, there is inspiration; anywhere there is excitement, there is enlightenment and wisdom. When a man is wise, he must rise. To be wise is to rise (Proverbs 8":15). So,"this is the equation": joy brings wisdom and wisdom takes a man to the throne.
Today,"I decree the death of every trace of depression, embarrassment and harassment that has come to steal the joy in your life, in Jesus’ Name.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Jesus is the Maker,"the Changer and Re-writer of history.

The most powerful and mysterious event in the history of mankind was the birth of Jesus Christ. The Christmas season is a time set aside by Christians to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is, therefore, important to know that there is a power surrounding the birth of Christ.

Now, what is the power of Christmas?
1. The Power of Unnatural Conception
The conception of Jesus took place without the biological process of conception. It was the demonstration of the supremacy of Divinity.
This implies that every time you are at a junction of your life and a natural law is trying to clash with a spiritual law, the natural must give way for the spiritual. The physical must give way for the Divine.

2. The Power that Changed History
The birth of Christ became the demarcation point of history. Every event before the birth of Christ is termed, “BC”, that is, before Christ. And every subsequent event, that is, event after the birth of Christ is termed": “AD”,"that is, Anno Domini, Latin for, In the Year of our Lord. Thus Jesus Christ became the central part of history. If Jesus Christ is removed from history, the arrangement of history will scatter. Jesus is the Maker, the Changer and the Re-writer of history.

Beloved, if Jesus is the Lord of your life, He has the capacity to re-write the history of your life and give you a desired future.

REMEMBER THIS": Jesus is the Maker,"the Changer and the Re-writer of history.

TOPIC: THE BLESSING OF THE RIGHTEOUS

SATURDAY,"DECEMBER 22, 2018

SCRIPTURE": For thou,"Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Psalm 5":12

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whatever attacks your conscience attacks your blessing.

From our anchor Scripture,"we see that God is eternally and committed to the blessing of the righteous. To be righteous, therefore, is to be blessed. In other words, the righteous cannot escape the Blessing of God.

Now, for the Blessing to be released on the righteous, there are conditions the righteous must meet. Let me give you three of such conditions":
1. Avoidance of Defilement: To be blessed,"defilement must be avoided. Whatever defiles a person destroys the blessing. Whatever attacks your conscience attacks your blessing (Psalm 119":1-2).

2. Walking in the Law of God: To be blessed,"you must walk in the Law of the Lord. The Word of God must guide our steps and not the opinion of people, the feelings of the flesh or the approval of society (Psalm 94":12; Psalm 119:1-2).

3. Keeping His Testimonies: To be blessed is to keep His testimonies. Do not take the Acts of God in your life for granted,"otherwise, the blessings stops flowing (Psalm 119":1-2).

Now,"how does God bless the righteous?

1. The Righteous does not beg to be blessed
It is natural for the righteous to be blessed. People like Abraham, Daniel, Esther etc., who stood for God were the most blessed in their generation (Psalm 5":12).

2. The Blessing is in the agenda of God for the righteous
The Blessing is in the package of redemption paid for by Jesus Christ on the Cross (Revelations 5:12).

Today,"I declare that the Blessing secured in the shed Blood of Jesus on Calvary is released upon you, in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS": Whatever attacks your conscience attacks your blessing.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Endeavour to walk with God in the covenant in order to attract the Blessing of God.
2. Live in uprightness; avoid sin and guilt

TOPIC: THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS

FRIDAY,"DECEMBER 21, 2018

SCRIPTURE": And when ye stand praying,"forgive, if ye have ought against any": that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive,"neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Mark 11":25-26.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Eternity is guaranteed by the action of forgiveness.

Offences are a major feature of life in this world. That is why for as long as you are in this world,"offences must come; human beings must err or offend. Offence is a satanic trap for the destruction and damnation of man.

However, it is one thing for offences to come, it is another thing to have the grace to forgive the offender. Our anchor scripture says that for your sins to be forgiven by God, you must also forgive all your offenders.

In Job 1":1-3,"God testified about Job that he was a perfect and upright man and even satan could not find any fault in him. But when Job was afflicted, his friends who were supposed to comfort him accused him of being a sinner (Job 34":7-. This offended Job bitterly because he received condemnation instead of comfort and encouragement from his friends. Thus his afflictions lingered. But when Job forgave and prayed for his friends his afflictions ended (Job 42:10).

Now,"what are the benefits of forgiveness?
1. The release of the offender is the release of the offended. When you release your offender, your captor must release you.
2. The release of your offender is the release of restoration for the offended. Your life’s restoration is at the instance of forgiveness.
3. The Presence, Power and working of the Almighty are all activated by the action of forgiveness.
4. The Power of prayer is amplified by the action of forgiveness (Mark 11":24).
5. Eternity is guaranteed by the action of forgiveness.

Beloved,"make up your mind to forgive all offenders and offences. Choose to forgive people and offences even in advance.

REMEMBER THIS": Eternity is guaranteed by the action of forgiveness.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Whenever a Word is revealed to you from Scriptures,"it shifts your level in the Blessing.

The Blessing of God is one the greatest assets of man on earth. It was the Blessing that God gave to man as a deposit and investment at creation for the sustenance of man until the fall of man and the arrival of the curse. It is also important to know that the Blessing of God is a difference maker.
The difference between Abraham and the negative circumstances and events of his family was the Blessing. The Blessing makes a person’s case different. The Blessing is a destiny opener. The Blessing of God has the capacity to locate a person and open up his destiny.

Abraham was at a loss in his father’s house; his life and destiny were locked up until he had an encounter with God and his life was opened up by the Blessing.

Now, it is very important to know that one channel of the Blessing is the Word of God. The Bible says, blessed is the man whose delight is in the Law of the Lord… (Psalms 1":1-3). Other people pursue the Blessing but the Blessing pursues the people of the Word. Whenever a Word is revealed to you from Scriptures,"it shifts your level in the Blessing.

Beloved, my counsel is, let your life be anchored on the Word of God and no devil can contest your Blessing.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you protect yourself from sin,"you preserve your relationship with God.

The lifestyle of prayer and the life of sin are diametrically opposed, mutually exclusive, inversely proportional and absolutely antithetical to each other. That is why prayer cannot be effective in the life of a Christian who is living in sin. One of the major objectives of sin is the attack on a person’s relationship with God. The decision to sin is a decision against prayer and the decision to pray is a decision against sin.

Therefore, it is important that sin be dealt with first before prayer becomes effective.

Now, how does sin affect prayer life?
Prayer keeps people from sin and sin keeps people from praying. Those who pray more sin less and those who pray less sin more. The life of prayer and the life of sin are mutually exclusive and diametrically opposed; they do not exist together. The flow of prayer becomes a struggle when sin is involved.

Sin broke Adam’s relationship with his Creator. Adam was kicked out of the Garden on the platform of sin.

The greatest loss on earth is not the loss of money, job or a relationship but the loss of the relationship between man and his Maker; that is an eternal loss, if it is not recovered.

Beloved, when you protect yourself from sin, you preserve your relationship with God. It is your choice to keep yourself with God always. Shun every appearance of sin in your life; and if you have already fallen into sin, rise up, confess your sin, repent of your sin and sin no more. Decide to pray always in order to remain in God’s Presence.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The glory of God travels in the direction of worship; the Presence of God travels in the direction of praise.

One of the marks of our dedication to God is the depth of our praise and worship. The pursuit of God is directly proportional to the worship and praise of God. The depth of our relationship with God is what fuels our depth in worshipping God. When you come around dedicated worshippers,"you feel God.

Paul the apostle, without a doubt, was one of the most dedicated men in Scriptures. Paul speaking passionately in Philippians 3":10 said,"that I may know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his suffering…

As dedicated as Paul was, he was also a deep worshipper of God (Philippians 4":4); he had a heart of consistent worship. The deeper your dedication to God,"the deeper your praise and worship.

Praise and worship keep dedicated people in the Presence of their Maker. They are fully aware of God’s Presence and will do anything to keep themselves in God’s Presence. The glory of God travels in the direction of worship; the presence of God travels in the direction of praise.

Today, I decree greater manifestations of God’s glory and Presence on your life in this season, in Jesus’ Name.
