I think you're right. When I was in 200L or so I had this friend whom I visited in his hostel and at home because we resided in the same state. We were close and I got to meet his mum. She liked me and she was always around whenever I visited.

Fast forward to this fateful day, when I got to his place he was home alone. Immediately I entered, he tried kissing me and I found myself struggling with him. He was more powerful but I succeeded in avoiding the kiss. His mum came back and we acted normal.

After that day, I foolishly went to his hostel and his room mate was even around. He tried kissing me again and we had to struggle. After that day I stopped talking to him. He noticed and asked what was wrong and I poured out my heart to him. He apologised and he said, "I was only trying to find out if you like me". I was irritated and I stopped visiting him since then.

I've also experienced the same thing with two friends. Since then, I made up my mind not to be too close to guys because I feel they'll try to take advantage of me. Who knows, I may not be lucky the next time. Funny enough, my boyfriend already warned me about having male friends but I didn't listen. Too bad I've not been able to share my experience with him but now I know better.

It's true that teenage girls always want to date guys in their age group, explore and fornicate and even commit Abortions for them. But I must make her understand that no matter how much a guy of your age group claims to love you, he'll end up marrying someone far younger than you and you'll have no choice but to marry a man about 10 years older than you and live to regret all the bad things you did with guys of your age group. In fact, what she is studying in school right now can never make her a good wife material or a completely successful woman. So if I don't date her now, how will I make her learn the basics principles that can make her successful in life? How will I get to teach her and mould her to be a good wife material? How will I get to correct her whenever she succumbs to peer pressure and make mistakes as a teenager?
My brother, as the saying goes "catch them young", I'll advice you that with the kind of things happening in today's marriages, if you want to marry and have peace of mind, get a teenage girl now and start working on her. They are the easiest set of girls to influence. Teach her, guide her, correct her and mould her to be the kind of woman you want to marry. Then settle down with her once she's matured enough. I have seen most men did this without regret.

What if she leaves you for a younger guy when she gets to the University? At a point she may feel trapped or something and want to explore being that she's young. Plus she may not even know what she wants yet

It's kind of hard because you can't really trust the police. Some students are friends with them. I have a friend whose phone got stolen and she reported to the police. They kept asking my friend to pay for different things, they eventually arrested the guy who stole the phone. After some days, his friends bribed them and he was released.
