I will like to hear how much there are asking and what is the reason? My guy I go suggest you sell that land and forget warri. Even Shell packed and left warri. Let the boys suffer under development |
This is the major reason warri and its surrounds are so under developed because the growing youths think it's their birth right to frustrate land owners and builders |
When you want to put roof they will come, when you want to put windows there will come, when you finish there will come annually for "deve" fees will is development fees. To collect money from tenants will be a big headache. You be so frustrated sorry to say that you will sell off even at a loss |
Uwie youths are a pain in the ass. I wish you luck building in warri! I am from warri and to just renovate my compound is a pain because of those jobless youths. Thinking of selling off all my property in warri not worth the stress |
Nigerian craftsmen have very terrible work ethics and is killing them. I will have to agree with the poster that said most Nigerian businesses posting for sale here hardly post prices because there looking to catch someone mugu. Most of us living abroad are look for straight forward answers and if a seller in China can do that why insult those who buy foreign abeg? |
guy u make sense euromilion: |
bought a land and fenced and yet deciding what to do with it. I live abroad but have trusted hands on ground. What should I build? Land is in lekki epe close to the Lagos business school (paid 3M) Was considering build a 4 unit apartment and keep one for my family. But I have read some horrible stories about tenants. Now my question to those living abroad, Is it worth it? Should I hold my land and let the value go up then sell? Please advise and tips greatly welcomed |
aariwa:Asaba? You kidding right? Delta state is a dead place, raped and destroyed by wicked politicians |
Na wa oh! Una don hajack my post ![]() |
Warri is a dead zone. The politicians have raped that town. The youths think is their right to steal kill and destroy. When i see young boys in Warri i just conclude there have no ambition because there is really nothing to do in the town. Even the former governor child left the state after her father's administration and opened shop in Lagos. Shell has also packed their bags and left the town. Lawless state ran by greedy politicians |
Hello Friends, I am about to secure a land in Ajah as we speak and am looking for a credible builder. I need quote for a 4 unit flat (3 will be 2 bedroom all inclusive and 1 will be 3 bedroom) |
Before this area go open up for building it will take 30 years |
bebe2: |
BITSWORKS:Oga please what other location do you suggest and I notice you are a builder too. What about ikorodu |
Anybody ![]() |
Ok guys, am a young mother looking to build in Lagos but will like to stay on the mainland because am not a fan of lekki and its mad traffic. Also I personally think land is over priced in that area. I really need a land on the mainland. Preferably in an estate. Please do not private message me, please let's discuss openly. Suggestions and ideas please and thank you |
This is a big disgrace sha. In Canada to become a teacher is so hard, the education program only attracts the best and the brightest and there go through rigorous training. The problem with Nigeria is that the dullest are attracted to the school system. This tells us that our system is doomed to fail http://www.openequalfree.org/1300-kaduna-teachers-fail-primary-school-test/20028 |
Yeah Right, he made his money from selling books because his JK Rowlings. Nigerian Christians are so gullible. Always running away from the truth |
Hello Ladies. Congrats on the twins and triplets. I key into that blessing. I am going through the IVF process and I will like to know your protocol. That is what Medications did you take? How much in total did it cost? How many eggs were retrieved? How many fertilized? How many embryos were transferred? How many embryos were frozen? I am just trying to compare the process here in Canada to that of Nigeria. Just wondering if its worthwhile to do it here or in Nigeria because of cost |
Congrats Hebrew woman and Champs. God bless you both. You will have beautiful babies. Its well with you. I am doing well ladies. Switched doctors and now i have a fabulous one who redid my entire test and stated that I have PCOS. He put me on Metformin and Famera instead of clomid. Next week I will be removing a uterine polyp that was found and placed on antibiotics. My hubby says once we have one child he will not make me go through all these again. We will be fine with just one. TTC is a horrible and sometimes painful journey |
Hello All, Long time. So i had another failed IUI and i immediately changed my RE. I have an amazing one who is doing all possible tests before prescribing any drugs from me. Yesterday I did a Sonogram where a small Uterine Polyp was found. He suspects that what is causing the baby not to implant so I will have to do a surgery to remove it. Also i did another HSG.. i did without any pill, I was fine. Both tubes open ( this will be my second HSG so i am a pro at it already). This cycle is going to all natural for us, no medications until the polyp is removed. Udoka.. i am praying for you, Please try and get some progrestrone. @Aladunni i have done 2 acupuncture before, this is a delicate procedure and i will advise you go to someone very professional. The needles are real and you can easily be infected. Your painful period could be a sign of endometriosis or fibrod. Don’t self diagnose, go see a specialist to do a good check you. |
@believer84, i have done 2 IUI so far. The first time i cried and said God why me. My husband told me to brush off my shoulder and be brave (i have an amazing husband). The process itself it about 5 mins and you lie down for another 20mins. IUI basically involves a s.p.e.r.m wash which is then inserted through a catheter into your cervix, as close as possible to meet the egg. (I was in a monitored cycle with Clomid). Unlike you, I am the one with the issues, I have a condition called endometriosis (1 in 3 women have it and don't know). This is way I have to do either IUI or IVF. I am not ready for IVF but hubby is ready. I am willing to share the journey, I tried emailing you but it bounced back tonatrio@yahoo.com |
@Udoka i swear this is the last one ![]() @believer84, you have my blessing and you are in my prayers. Don't listen to anyone. I think you have a brave and amazing husband. One in a million in fact. Nigerian is still very backwards in their thinking and that's why am not too surprised by some of the stupid post. Load of baby dust to you my sister |
Hello Ladies.. Long time. I had to catch up pm all the reading. Gen B its well with you and your wife. Udoka i dey oh! thanks for asking after me. I am in the dreadful 2 weeks wait. Congrats by the way.. its well with you My dear ladies, don't let all these religious zombies make you feel bad on your approach to conceiving. IVF is a gift from God to man kind. We should be grateful God gave us the technology. In as much most of us want to conceive naturally, it has not been possible so lets look for other avenues that give us a chance. My inlaw has 4 kids from IVF. This is a woman they told she will never have a child. The smile on her face every time she looks at the kids prove that God is great |
My dear Gen Buhari.. Am so sorry for your loss. YOu are a good man. You have stood by your wife. Men like you are few.. Its well with you. Please make sure your wife is well taken care of.. Please focus on her diet, lots of green vegetables to give her back some blood and lots of vitamins. Its well, i know how you feel, the Lord will comfort you and your wife |
Hello Ladies: Long time no speak. I have been good oh, did my second IUI last week and in my 2 week wait. Took my progesterone level test today and it was 107 which the nurse says was very very good. Next week is my pregnancy test. I am believing strongly. My IUI experience this time was so painful that my hubby says never again, if i don't get pregnant this month that's it. I just burst into tears and says why me. People are getting pregnant like flies around me and am struggling to conceive just 1. @kemidebbie when i heard your story i almost cried as in my eyes was watery. I cannot believe what women go through in Nigeria... its evil, if it here in Canada that you experience this you don hammer be that. You sue their a.s.s @RocksQueen i have gotten it all oh. From what are you waiting for to you are getting old oh (i am 28). Some go on to say i have bought you your baby shower gift oh. Some will even use side side and tell you is because you guys don't go to church (myself and hubby are not religious). Me i just laugh and just avoid people. @Smilenw your faith will make you whole Lots of hugs and baby dust to you ![]() |
Champs stay strong my dear. Like others say at least you can get pregnant, relax and enjoy your hubby. My first IUI was a failure, heading to IUI # 2 this month. My doctor also told me i have endometriosis, hehehe.. so my situation is in God’s hand. My options are IUI or IVF. So I am doing one more round of IUI and if it does not work I am on to IVF. I am hopeful. I don’t even cry sef, all I do is just laugh at my condition. @udoka2, i use a naturopath but na Chinese medicine. She is really good too.. I am all for trying new things. Baby Dust to you all |
wow.. you guys have faith that can move a mountain. I wish i had such faith. I am trying and i am one of those who believe everything happens for a reason. I also did an IUI this cycle and i do my beta test on monday. I refuse to POAS, i don't want undue stress. If i am not pregnant i move to the next. I am ready for IVF sef. My hubby is so funny, he says we will not waste time at all, and i agree with him. I guess we are realist though. Ladies i encourage you to take charge of your fertility and speak to your doctor, and also do research on your issue. I discovered i had an endo in my left ovary, instead of crying i asked him what next. I spoke to a naturopathic doctor who prescribed a few herbs for me and i tried acupuncture. Continue trying ladies don't give up. Carry a smile on your face everyday. When people tell me there i pregnant i rejoice with them, when my family ask, i tell them i am doing my part here speak to the big guy upstairs. I try and add humor to my condition. I will keep you guys updated on my result. Big hugs and big smile ![]() |
earthgreeners: If u attend university in Nigeria and you graduated well.....i dnt tink u cld get distracted anywhereThe Educational system here in Canada is way harder than Nigeria in terms of structure. This is not a country where you can just cram and then go to exam. You will not survive one semester. Everything here is application and presentation skills. You can easily get distracted, trust me. I still have a few Nigerians here still not out of University or even with a PR card and we all came together. There spent their time socializing with Nigerians and forming association of Nigerian and got distracted. Don't get me wrong, it’s good to socialize but when i realized the sacrifices my parents made and what there gave up to send me here, the least i could do is get a first class degree by making extra effort and focusing on the task at hand. If you do great in school you will end up in Toronto working for a great company. |
I will share my success story. I have been in Canadian for almost 10 years. Came as an international student right after secondary school. I got my PR right after university and now i am a Canadian Citizen working for one of the biggest companies in Canada. The secret to my success was to attend a school far away from distraction (in the country , i.e. Atlantic Canada). I hardly visit Toronto and avoided big cities to avoid the temptation may foolish Nigerian kids fall trap to. P.S try and avoid schools in Toronto I hardly hung out with Nigerian; i said to myself i came to this country to mix and meet new people and that exactly what i did. Tip: Avoid all these Redeemed Church and Christ Embassy (no offense, but before you know you don join choir and youth ministry.. all these things takes away from your time and study period) I graduated with a first class degree, the only Nigeria/African in my School at that time and guess what, I was picked immediately by a company. I hope this helps |
