Previous scans at 6,8 and 10 weeks showed just one foetus.rite nw hubby and I are in shock/awe of God's awesomeness.
My doc has advised dt I begin special care and begin antenatal earlier dan d 16 weeks we had earlier planned.
Ist ever assited treatment,IUI wit little or no stimulation, doc is also in shock.
Pls need ur prayers more dan ever.@all u fruitfull mums,pls dnt give up as our God is a wonder.Hope dis encourages someone out der!

@believer84 this is just one of the wonders of God,i remember when u had ur 6 week scan u said is one baby,whao this is God miracle am so happy for u,you need lot of rest now and i wish u a stress free nine month.

@ Beliver 84 God is indeed awesome his name alone be praised my sister what u need right now is rest more rest and more as early as the 8wk I stopped litfing anything going to market and doing household chores believe me u need it. Did ur DR say anything about having cerclage had mine done at 12wk its a precaution sha depends on what ur DR says plenty of vitamins and pls if u have apetite EAT u'll need it cos the babies are going to take it all and leave u with nothing lol. I normally joke with my family that preg that ought to make me add weight is trimming me down seriously before pregnancy I weigh between 86/87kg as at today I still weigh 87kg and all of this is from the babies I know am rambling but am so happy and excited for u I think I"ll stop for now to catch my breath

Yes I had that problem I couldn't eat and the little I ate I threw up I was advised to eat smaller portions more frequently like every 2 to 3 hour if u are tired just lay down u'll geet tired easily especially on ur left side learn to love ur bed cos u'll b on it most times.
At 28wks u may be place on bedrest am on bedrest now but luckily not in the hospital cos my DR says my vitals are ok and my Mom's house is very close to the hospital but in all I should still rest and thank God for moms mine is amazing she virtually does everything for me Presently am 29wks 4 day pls take good care of urself God will give u d strength to carry these bundles of joy

@ Olikili, waoooo, 29 weeks! You've really done well for yourself. are u opting for elective CS? You seem to be 2 wks ahead of me and I feel like am already there. Can't wait to remove them as sleeping at night is becoming an issue as I've grown really big these past 5 weeks. Though am not on bedrest yet neither did I do cerclage but I've told my Doc I'm opting for elective CS at 35wks instead of going in labour. Although I planned on doing cerclage initially but somehow my Doc said I didn't need it as my cervix is fine and to be honest, a friend of mine who did it didn't find it funny at all as she was admitted several times for one correctn after the other so I was secretly happy when my Doc said I didn't need it. How big are your babies, Does their scan age tally with their fertilization age? My scan has always been 1week and 3 days bigger than the lmp abi gestational age but my Doc is insisting on 38wks if I don't fall into labor b4 then. Also did u do diabetics screening at 26wks? My Doc said I don't need it since my routine urine test has not showed any sign of increased sugar levels. This Georges don dey tire me small small o, just need to know am not alone on all this their protocols.

Need help. Am want to start ivf in hope valley. Has anyone been there to share experience with me. Been married for 12 hrs now had my girl 7yr now but nothing has happen since then. Dh has low sperm even before I had my first child but can,t wait any longer.
My greatest problem is hussy is not supportive. He Is contented with the girl we have but trust africa culture he has kids before we got married but I don,t think I just want to have just a child. Can anyone advice on how I can go about this cs I intend started my ivf by next month.

Hello Ladies. Congrats on the twins and triplets. I key into that blessing. I am going through the IVF process and I will like to know your protocol. That is what Medications did you take?
How much in total did it cost?
How many eggs were retrieved?
How many fertilized?
How many embryos were transferred?
How many embryos were frozen?
I am just trying to compare the process here in Canada to that of Nigeria. Just wondering if its worthwhile to do it here or in Nigeria because of cost

Am opting for CS too cos I can't imagine pushing out three babies and by Gods grace I'll like to get to 36wks so they'll be preterm rather than premature. As for sleep that's a thing of the past I'd rather call what I do rest 1hour here maybe 2hours there but its all for a good thing so I don't complain. I not had any issue with the cerclage I don't even remember its there with my last scan the ages tallied and I did a fetal diagnostic scan that checked out the anatomy, spine,heart,urinary tract and blood circulation among other things. Its not easy but we are almost there

Olikili thanks a bunch. I also did that week 20 abnomality scan and every looks ok. Did u do that glucose tolerance test for diabetics at 26weeks? All the best sha, I also can't wait for xmas to come and go jo so I can count down the remaining weeks. Its because of all this plenty thinking and count down that I don't want that bedrest business o, although God has been good, no stress so far as I still go to work n drive back like 20mins home. Will start my leave from 31-32wks make I no go take chances doing super woman.

@Toronto, it depends on the center u're doing the ivf. Apart from Bridge most centers will gladly transfer more than 2 embies. U shod be ready to spend like 1m. 7colours clinic which Believer used is having a promo for 500k or so. U might want to check her post. That's the cheapest so far. As for meds, it depends on ur response rate as u'll be given 3-5 ampoules of fsh for 10days and busserelin to put ur natural cycle on hold. Drugs shd be same as what is obtainable in canada just diff brands.

Gmum, nobody has really mentioned hope valley since this thread started but I'll want to believe they are good as my Doc Emeka used to work with them before moving to Georges. All the best with your procedure. More bfps with twins and triplets before January 2013 IJN, amen. Receive!!!

Stumbled on this page yesterday and couldn't stop reading, I was so happy reading through your posts, its good reading about other women experiences. I have been ttc for 10yrs now but just decided with hubby to go for IVf. My Doctr recomended True care fertility centr. I just hope they are good.

I think they are good as I wrote about them somewhere on this thread. They are also affordable as a family friend got pregnant with quadruplets with about 600k there this year. All the best. Remember Its God that gives.

I rejoice with u, hubby, ur family and ur doc. at this news. Dr. Norbert was still reeling with excitement about it when I went in for my scan last Friday. I've taken what @believer84 said to me in her post to stay POSITIVE n be PRAYERFUL to heart and leavn every to HIM.

Olikili kpele, u're almost there. The Lord is ur strenght. Just concentrate on the thought of 3. Babies running helter skelter in ur sitting room helping u to arrange and re-arrange the place. Lol, just be virtulizing them helping u to bath ur fons!!!

Damsell its normal. It might stop before oR few days after ET. Just keep using ur cyclo and talk to ur Doc if it gets worst. Some clinics do give antibiotics after recovery while others give at the beginning of the entire procedure. All the best.

Due to the high price of having a donor ivf, i have decided to go back to national hospital in abuja, cos that is the only place as far as i knw that i can hav d procedure for less than a million naira. we dnt want to take chances in using 1.5m for a procedure that we dnt knw wat d outcome will be.
Please in case any one kwns a beta clinic in abj dat i can have it for less cos am planning to go pay my technical fee first week of december and only God kwns how long it will take for dem to get me a good donor.ghrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. am sosoooooo tired. pof is killing me.

I rejoice and celebrate all preggy moms in the house!asokale ayo ooooo, I claim double double IJN.

Please I had a dream on the day I was scheduled for hsg(after running away for a few months), I was bathing a baby with cold water and whilst I was washing her fce repeatedly, igot distracted, before I could say jack, the baby was stone cold!! I cried and later woke up. I immediately started praying against all conspiracy n I will not use my and to kill any child. The hsg didnt hold that day thanksto conflicting report between the vaginal swap&what the radiologist saw. The next day, I and another dream about that same child, she was playing on the bed, I was scared to touch her so nothing happens to her(the funny thing is dat in the dream, I remembered the previous day's dream) but still played with her.

Am worried,at the same time refusing to accept what I saw.

Please remember me in your payers oo and anyone help with the meaning of my dream.

Kike this dream be as e get o! I really don't know how to interprete dreams but this one doesn't look good. You need to pray to counter it. Have you posted it on the ttc thread for possible intepretation? U kno they have lots of peeps who are good in such there. All the best my sister.
