You're right to some extent, but to me, it would be better for a trusted seller to run out of money and people wait than someone losing his/her money to a scammer, let the other day, someone in here lose like 400k to a scammer, I doubt if he/she has been able to recover that money back, if there is check and balances put in place like this, people would be able to do business successful here, but anyway, people here should be very careful and use their descretion wen dealing with users with less posts credited to their monikas.
There you go, i was well aware of that scam... And sorry to say this oo, with due respect to the victim, while i acknowledge that anyone could be a victim. It's very clear the victim in question here wasn't a newbie @this to have fell for that person with a profile that falls way below expectations for someone of the victim's calibre to fall for as victim. You sef check that profile again. It was created of recent just this same January 2016, he got just 3 posts, wow!! That can't be a basis for your security ideas. And from posts you must have seen people saying even the so called trusted isn't trusted because nobody is Jesus Christ. And not everybody that have the fear of God if you're gonna go by 3000--5000 post standard.

It will be very difficult for someone with about 5000 post credited to him/her here in Nairaland to scam someone, the chances are very slim, on like someone with less than 100 post coming here to sell, frm research so far, those will less than 100 posts are the scammers, check you will see wat I am saying.....
With that standard i still say then it becomes limited to few to sell, and people don't have much options. And it becomes more like monopoly. It should also interest you that PayPal sellers emerge without selling before and from mere understanding of things the trusted sellers around run out of funds from time to time, going by your standard then people can't buy when they need and someone who might be genuine have to sell. People can always investigate sellers without that way. I say year should be part of the investigation. If then you have more security info then you try to know when the person's number has been in use. The activities of the person on nairaland.

Photoshopped/edited you said, you make me laugh, out of 100% only 10% would be able to achieve dat, and it will still help alot, a scammer would never be so lion hearted to do dat, but a real seller would do so, moreover people should buy frm Nairaland members who have successfully sold to members only and such people should be old time member with @ least 3000-4000 posts credited to dem, via their monika..
By this your standard too, you've missed it... i wish it was you who got less than 100 posts and 1 blessed day got means to sell PayPal. They shun you by this standard. Will you sell?

Creating a thread with the names of trusted PayPal fund sellers is not the way out of this, though, a welcome development.

The thread will only end up giving undue advantage to some sellers over others. Also, a so called trusted seller today might become a scammer tomorrow after gaining the trust of many client and zone off with their monies.

For me, any buyer who wish to buy PayPal fund should try to investigate the seller's NL profile and not asking the seller to send him personal means of identification. Seriously, as a PayPal fund seller myself, I'll not be willing to send you my personal government issued means of identification because you wish to buy funds from me. The document could be used by the buyer for other illegal activities that might even put the seller in more trouble.

In summary, research the seller's NL profile for any suspicious act in the past. A person who has been on NL for years with less than 20 comments and wants to sell funds is a potential scammer. A member who just registered about two weeks ago and his first few comments are about selling PayPal fund is a potential scammer.

NB: I'm a PayPal fund seller, though, funds are not available presently, hopefully, by first week of next month I should for sale. You can include me in the list if you think I can be trusted.
I for 1 supports the thread to identify genuine PayPal sellers even though am a newbie who's just getting some funds to sell. It's more of making people buy securely though and then these PayPal sellers cannot sell it all, they can barely satisfy the needs people have for funds so the market is wide. The funds i had were mostly used up by me for goods let alone having to then sell. As for them going bad well can't say about that.

I advise most people to use a stanbic MasterCard, period. Risk taking should be minimized to the lowest, money is not easy to come by.
It's not easy but i hear you, be dealing with stuff as much as 5k dollars and @ 260-300... You get to know your lose... In a short time I've saved over 100k on better rates, that way i can sell sum funds i have too... before now i bought funds @230 and that saved me over 22k. There are genuine sellers around.

I didn't know of the recent scam here and i still made an ad for PayPal, well thank God i could still find buyers although with scrutiny. There's nobody that can't fall victim to scam,, because we're risk takers.. That's what business and success is about. My advice is anyone who needs PayPal should investigate well. We get desperate most times because of due dates for payment etc but calm down and investigate well, and also do not just turn down a seller anyhow without good reason because you might miss something that good. The link for genuine sellers should be the way, please ogaaaaaaaaaaa@toluxa1 create one abeg, or the most trusted seller should do..

This is why Africans will always remain poor. We lack business sense really. You have the info... Run with it and build a mansion on banana island, while you come to Nairaland and wail with the wailers and do as if it hit you most. Must you come and and expose your assets?

This goes to everyone who has found a way to beat the system. Go home, strategize on how to milk this while it lasts, and keep your nifty fingers off social media. The naira will bounce back soon and then a golden window is closed.... FOREVER!!! If this leaks, your business is destroyed and no more income for you again. You will now start crying had I known. YModulus... This goes for you as well. Sell your PayPal funds and no talking to no one. Not anymore please.

To others, If you would just not allow pride to set in, you can stay in a coner and make your cool cash. Why not just keep quiet and help people import from China or something? Sorry, its just survival instinct.

A word is enough for the wise. Let no one else come here to spill info. I am not saying I know the way neither am I saying I dont. Who knows, all these people telling you they found a way may just be playing on your intelligence. I know what many of them do is claim refunds on goods purchased and get extra to sell to your guys as PayPal funds. Now, let's focus on Stanbic shall we?

Nb: No one should please quote me. And if you are in the mood to insult... Well, God bless you!!!
Abi ooo... dem no wan show us the way and dem go dey brag with am. Only a certain fellow said he knows the way here and bowed out cooly. God go help me sef soon. If you get info... Be calm na but @tumababa just dey hot on mata wey dey pain everybody. When you're not gonna spit it why flaunt it?
Am strongly one of those that don't like making precious info become public matter because the earlier it's made public, it'll no more be effective but at same time, dis tin dey suffer person oooo!!

So you expect me to just dish out info to someone 100% because he wants to get into business I run?

Bro I did that early days when I started business and I learnt the hard way, on Several occasions.

Also if I can give you 70% of the information, I don't see why you can't get the 30%. Every body has to work for what he or she wants to get. And not everything in a business should be shared. That is why till today Coke remains the most sold Soft drink.

You have to work to get it. If an individual can give you 70% info on a business then reason your way to piece the 30%.

It's high time we Nigerians stop the give me free 100% mentality, we shud learn to work for things.
Even if I am a billionaire tomorrow, I won't give my wife all she ask for if I have the means too. She will get things herself. If she is not okay with that she should leave.

Please take a look.

Thanks
Went through that link a bit and i feel what you're saying bro... That's more reason i don't ask too probing questions as to peeps details. And if you remember i said it on your recent thread about business you ran in 2015 that peeps should chill a lil because to me it's even more annoying as they're like commanding you to contact them even when it's to help them, they gotta work out a way to get your contact. Got the info about this importation biz from my then gf now my fiancé who had to lie to get me selling something, imagine she lied she ordered for some shoes and it's selling well only for her to later restitute that she never ordered or sold such. Now am far more experienced than her and am the one teaching her things while she assists . If na some people they'll just break up with such lady and keep doing it big. Well those stories were touching mehn chai. It's so painful for such to happen to anybody. That's same reason someone asked me the shipping agent who ships for me and receives physical dollar, i didn't respond. That's because me as a person get desperate about things and i make move and find ways to sort them until it's off the way, she could have better contacted me, find way to reach me and get it. Am not gonna come dish out info here and it becomes pure water. When i needed help from oga ymodulus "i add him pin" sharperly even didn't get help from him but i didn't bother. Make people chill and work for things to get done. Am suffering for dollar but later at least i paid my agent @d rate of N222.dat_dat_dat/$ for my goods and am happy. Imma chill and pay to trusted sellers to get dollars until i find way. Amen.
Meanwhile i got strict rules for helping people when it comes to things that puts them on list of people that brags.

The exchange rate varies... depending on the bank you're using. Say your bank and people will tell you how much they were charged last for payment.
Christianity Etc › Re: My Experience At A Church Today Almost Made Me Cry by tosinjay(m): 9:37am On Jan 11, 2016
The truth is, most churches of such around nowadays are not just to be complained about, they are to be fled away from. These men are worshippers of satan behind the scene and use demonic means to perform signs and wonders. So good at being motivational speakers instead of truth preachers. All these they get from the dark world. Where by the bible says by their fruit ye shall know them. From the very biggest bishop to the up coming pastors they all have same biblical theology.

A true man of God cares not about the things of this world but the livelihood alone and builds up his treasures in heaven where it's more secured and not accumulate wealth on earth. These pastors do these things at the expense of people's souls which stands to face damnation after leaving this world. Some of the men of God could be ignorant though but some are wolves in sheep's clothing.
And no ignorant person should say don't judge because the bible you have addresses this clearly warning you against them that will twist the word to suit their pleasure and what people mostly wanna hear other than the truth which is bitter. Most of these men's name aren't even in the Lamb's book of life. Pray to God with a sincere heart y'all that are deceived and He'll answer you for your eyes to open. It's truth to say we're in the last days and only few men of God are genuine. Like 95% are fake. I am not ashamed to call names and i don't stand condemned for it. Even some people who are rightly in support of this post have wolves in sheep's clothing as pastors while some men of God have backsliden and their members don't get it. They are mortal men like you and the only man of God i see presently in Nigeria among the popular ones is PASTOR KUMUYI. And there is a reason he holds all mondays bible study himself and not letting some perversed men rise up from hell to destroy the ministry.

Altogether people please SEARCH FOR HOLINESS REVIVAL MOVEMENT ONLINE. NOT A CHURCH DENOMINATION BUT AN END TIME REVIVAL MOVEMENT BECAUSE THERE IS REALLY A DIVINE MANDATE TO WIN THE LOST SOULS AS CHRIST IS COMING SOON AND THE PRESENT CHURCHES HAVE FAILED.

The movement is in Nigeria, headquarters in abuja. IT'S GETTING RECOGNITION WORLDWIDE RIGHT NOW BECAUSE JUST AS PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT AFRICA, I'LL SAY THEY SHOULDN'T MENTION JUST AFRICA BECAUSE THEY ONLY LIVE AND KNOW HERE. SOME FOREIGN COUNTRIES ARE WORSE. ALSO SEARCH FOR REVELATION FROM CHRIST TO SOME GENUINE PEOPLE,
SAMUEL OGENETEGA AND LINDA NGAUJAH RIKA. I know so many are fake out there but test each with the Scripture, so says the word of God. God bless.

Pls is there a daily limit to the amount of money you can send with your naija paypal to a u.s paypal? Also what is the exchange rate of transferring funds from a nigerian paypal account to u.s or China?
This is it bro, your PayPal is connected with your card which you use in making the payment and this card is issued to you by your bank. So these banks have limit for transaction you can make with your card respectively. The bank's limit for a day is then what you can use your PayPal to spend for a day and the rate is also the rate your bank charges. No exception with PayPal be it to US or China.
