Kaguya on the other hand is not fighting to kill, she wants to capture them and take their chakra. You saw how deadly she becomes when she decided to kill Naruto.

being capable of regulation in terms of intensity, naturally what comes to mind is the fact that fire increases in intensity while it burns in a normal setting. Amaterasu being a special jutsu will therefore continue burning in intensity automatically till its put out by the caster or sealed away.

Kishi didn't really emphasize if its intensity can be regulated however we do know it can be manipulated.

So the point is if it can be turned on and off by the caster then its safe to say it can be regulated by the caster as well to determine how much it burns.

This is not a case of assumption, its on the facts we have on ground..please try watch the anime or read the manga page to figure out whether at any point in time, the amaterasu on hachibi increased or the heat on it increased.

The manga shows the flames growing, so does the anime. I can only conclude you are not watching and reading the right episode and chapter (proof of this is shown with the reference you gave). What happened was that, Karin got caught by the amaterasu and Sasuke miraculously was able to use his right MS to clear off the amaterasu on Karin's body. After realizing this new ability, he went ahead to clear out the amaterasu on Hachibi when he believed it has had enough and went unconscious.

You'd notice in page 9 that you uploaded that he didn't do anything yet, it was still the same level of amaterasu that was burning Hachibi, it was in page 10 that he actually activated the right eye again as the picture showed and the amaterasu started disappearing.
