What I conclude from the picture is that Zetsu is more like Kaguya's consciousness, a last minute alternative before she was completely sealed like the way Mu splitted himself in the last minute before he was sealed. So Zetsu is not one of the 2 sons that sealed Kaguya.

As for Hagoromo coming off Madara lower parts, that could be possible cos Madara is a transmigrant or because of the power he attained.

The fact that Madara said only he can see through a wood clone doesn't mean a shadow clone is inferior in that aspect, no one has claimed to be able to see through it in the anime, not even Madara.

Those wood clones are special. If you remember when Sai recently joind team 7 and supposedly change ranks with Orochimaru and Yamato's wood clone was giving chase, they must have thought that it was the real Yamato that was coming. So you can't really just assume much with all these clones.

Shadow clone is Tobirama's invention remember? And Tobirama is arguably sharper than Hashirama


And following what you said, then we can say that Wood clone is tougher but shadow clone is more difficult to see through..

Shadow clones unlike other clone jutsus share the user's chakra equally among itself and its clone, so that makes it even more difficult to decipher and I don't think wood clones have that feature.
