I have never said Ajimobi did not steal as governor. I only said it is possible to have these assets as at 2011 when he declared them. Simply based on information, facts and logic.

Good point. I can speak for the UK that non-resident mortgages are almost non-existent. It's typically cash sales for such purchases. Non-UK citizens often have difficulty accessing mortgages to buy property in the UK due to the strict and inflexible lending criteria of many high street lenders.

They think everywhere is Nigeria where wuru wuru is the order of the day. Banks in the West have to verify the source of the deposit and ensure no money laundering is taking place, which is why most Naija politicians buy cashdown to avoid scrutiny. Mofos.

The security our politicians enjoy (the citizens' readiness to always defend them) is what makes it difficult for them to do what is right. This is just the point! I'm a good fan of Ajimobi because I've heard him talk several times and I respect his intellect, boldness in carrying out government's policies, and his efficiencies. But to defend his wealth while I'm yet to get a major foothold in life is something I'd never do. He has children who have enjoyed and are still enjoying his wealth, they should come and defend him.
It's a good thing to be passionate about politics but it's terrible to deify politicians, that's the easiest way to make them misbehave. The present governor himself needs to be careful. The system already provides loopholes for them to loot the state.

Exactly. So many loopholes and that is what we should be focused on as a people, how to close these holes and ensure money meant for the country is used for the country. I am not a fan of any politician whether this man or the present one, what I find annoying are those trying to defend him at any cost. Look at the current state of Nigeria. Haba! I have only worked in the oil and gas industry as an employee for 12 years and only became a manager recently, and my company is not one of the top 15 oil companies in Nigeria.

If I get government position today, I have 5 houses (in 3 states) to declare. I'm still in my 30s. It may have reached 7 by 40 (Allah willing).

Guys, this is possible for someone who rose to become CEO of an oil company. And he made this declaration in his 60s.

Uncle, we are talking about high priced houses in the UK and US denominated in foreign currencies, in addition to numerous ones in Nigeria, in addition to N292.4M, you are talking about houses in 3 states (I presume in Nigeria) - this your comparison clearly holds no water.
