BornRicch: Can't you read and comprehend! I'm talking about the MD's you States above making lots of money for themselves. How many Nigerians with their qualifications are opportuned to become an MD? Stop it, top to bottom are corrupt.. A regular worker in overseas can make exactly the same or more than those MD's you mentioned above. God is merciful, His mercy is beyond imagination... There's a different between a pathetic liar and a lair, hope you get it. I'm done for the day with you guys on nairaland.... I wish y'all heart warming Nigerians good... Mister man, don't go far. I am referring to the OP and other young Nigerians in tech roles making money legitimately rather than scamming. Stop misinterpreting the comment. What's my business with the MD? |

Regardless there will always be good and bad... I wish you have the slightest idea who you're talking to right now you will forever be grateful for life... Not in a negative way though. Mister, I don't need to know who you are. All I know is that at the other end of Yahoo are real people who have shed tears, developed HBP, become suicidal because they lost money they used years to work for - to people like you. That is all I need to know. It is wicked. Stop it. |

Don't be a fool everyone can't be good, but never you judge a book by the cover. God himself says judgement will start from the church not with the criminals.... I pray God answers your heart desire, and stop looking down on people. Pretenders do the worse.... A word is enough for the wise. So now you have changed the tune from "Nigeria is bad" to "it's nothing compared to people working regular job abroad" A thief is a thief, stop calling God's name while using the same fingers to defraud people. |

In fact, capital punishment is what scammers and looters deserve. They should kill all politicians looting our money and turn them into compost so that we can use them grow food for the society. AnanseK: Nothing to do with thieving politicians, I hate them too. But medical care may improve quality of life but doesn’t abolish death. I can’t accept a misleading statement because of your blackmail. People in the West also die. Cop out. Hate them indeed yet be defending them all over the place. Why not demolish all the hospitals and medical centers where you live since according to your brilliant logic they are not needed Duh, people die everywhere but there is a reason we have life expectancy and mortality rates, to be able to compare objectively across different places. Anyway, I'm sure this is above your head, no point wasting my time. |

I’d be glad if you can prove that Venezuelans and Zimbabweans go about defrauding innocent foreigners anyhow because of the bad governance in their country. Even their consciences condemn them, that is why they are constantly trying to rewrite the narrative but the unchangeable FACT remains that a fraudster = armed robber = criminal = common thief. It's not hustling but theft. Eod. |

Deltayankeeboi: Blame it on your elected officials not innocent yahoo boys hustling for a better future that the corrupt government could not provide.
If not for yahoo, imagine the rate of armed robbery and kidnapping that would have been rampant today. Yahoo has helped a lot of people.
If your country was good, well developed, provided high quality of life and basic amenities for her citizens, you would not be bothered about any abroad image whatsoever. I repeat, blame it on your elected officials. Tell them to develop the country to international standard.
Government should first create environment that encourages youth development and advancement. If not, yahoo has come to stay. Seun and mods, comments like these glorifying CRIME should not be displayed. As for you OP, you are exactly the same as the kidnappers and armed robbers you have mentioned, fraud is not a victimless crime. Stop justifying CRIME!! |

Elder0001: I posted something about fraud on my WhatsApp status sometime ago and yahooguys on my contact list were telling me that politicians are the cause of fraud lol. That Interpol and the rest should arrest politicians and leave yahooboys alone,I was like you’re right about government not trying but the innocent people you guys are defrauding are they responsible for the bad governance in this country? No. So,if they’re so eager to scam they should scam the politicians that messed up the country not innocent foreigners. Because of the activities of these fraudsters foreigners don’t trust Nigerians anymore. You’ll go through unwarranted and unnecessary checks at airports just because you’re a Nigerian while other folks from countries like South Africa won’t be checked. If you tell these guys to stop engaging in fraud they’ll say you’re hating or jealous Talking about bad governance,is Nigeria the only country with bad governance in the world? Venezuela and Zimbabwe e.t.c are countries with bad governance yet their citizens don’t go about scamming innocent foreigners because of the situation in their country.
Most Nigerians just have a criminal and get rich quick mentality and this has nothing to do with the state of governance in the country because most of them take this same disgusting mentality to countries with good governance e.g USA and Canada. Tell them! There can never be any justification for being a FRAUDSTER aka COMMON THIEF. |
