Yet they live a better life than you...

Regarding open defecation, the highest proportion (8.8%) was found in the North Central zone,
followed by the South West (6.5%)
and then North East (4.3%) zones. By contrast, a lower percentage was recorded in the South East (3.8%) and the lowest in the North West (3.6%). The likely reason for higher prevalence of open defection in the North Central and South West zones is that their forest vegetation provides more room for the practice, unlike the grassland vegetation in the North West where the practice is the least used. Although, South East zone has more dense vegetation but has lower prevalence of open defecation than the North East, suggesting an influence of other factors such as education and wealth.

SouthEastFacts:
The problem with you Yorubas is too much ingestation of Nigerian-made stats.

Statistics that doesn't even know the true population of Nigeria or amount of crude oil lifted per day.

The same stat that used primary school enrollments to measure Literacy rate, post-secondary school enrollments to measure Human Capital development.

The same people that used 220 sample size to survey households for each state to run a Sub-National Analysis, thereby failing woefully a simple best practices in Probability Sampling, people that don't even know the pillars used to compute Competitive Index, thereby using 41% less to compute that embarrasement called Sub-National Competitive Index, the same embarrassment that placed Katsina as Number 1 in Business Sophistication, while ranking Sokoto ahead of Ogun and Anambra in Economy. Borno a war ravaged area suffering from malnutrition was ranked ahead of IMO in health. In Security and Stability, Yobe another BH enclave was ranked ahead of Anambra while Borno ahead of Bayelsa.

I expect you to verify those claims above.

This Nigerian made Statistics are what you people like so much because it massages your ego, so any other statistics that counter it, you people will shout IPOB Bureau of Statistics, especially one BeautifulSE.

We in the East, we don't believe those embarrassments called Statistics. That is why we re-run every single statistical analysis from the stables of Nigerian made Stats and counter with superior analysis.

One guy was insulting SE using one silly literacy rate and I told him you don't measure that using primary school enrollments. His respond made me gave up on people like him and other Nigerian Made Statistics Bureau (NMSB).

NMSB is a broad body encompassing NBS, CBN, NPC, the Competitive Index Council, INEC, NNPC, APC and other bodies that generates statistics and most embarrassing of them all, Yoruba e-yoots. The same people that claimed yorubas controlled 70% of ICT in Nigeria, one e-yoot even said 90%.

I don't give Stat that are not verifiable. The 50% I quoted was given in that article.

We rebuilt Enugu was scratch and it was named in the world Top 100 most resilient cities. This means Enugu now acts as model for Cities pursuing global resilience. 2/3 of people in Lagos are living in Slum and Makoko is the only floating slum in West Africa if not the world.

All these are verifiable.

#GodBlessSE
WE ' in the SE don't believe in the stats? You see why I said your case require some help and counseling? grin

So,where do we go now for accurate stats, since "WE' in the SE don't longer believe in a well conducted stats. I want to believe you got you own " we" stats made in aba already.

Guy! I don't blame you oo grin
