U should get the 5v to 12v cable it will solve your problem , buy that type of cable .. you will find it on AliExpress or temu, jumia and Konga don't have this type the ones on jumia will make you cry.. so run from it

Hello. This Airtel ODU doesn’t give me 50 Mbps again after two and a half months of use. Please is there any way I can make a report to Airtel concerning the poor power package that is used as a backup? I hardly make use of my power bank for 3 hours before it gets off.

What speed are you getting now .. and what band are U locked to

It seems the cash back bonus is only given once I a month or just once. After getting my 10percent of my odu payment, I help a friend to pay for is 20mbps with my smartcash since yesterday.. dey no give me any cash back bonus 😂😂😂

Omo see speed 😁, What plan Re you on lol.. by that time i was unable to browse, it was showing no internet access... The network do me strong thin btw 10am to 11.30 this morning but the back and blasting nw getting 29mbps

All the ODU comes with Esim but they all also have space for physical sim (all of them .... Huawei, ZTE and ZLT), so you can retrieve the Esim number at any Airtel shop on the street or roadside to get a physical sim , you can put this physical sim in the ODU or any other compatible router of your choice like I did with mine

Secondly the router that came with the ODU is call IDU (it does not use a sim card ) a network cable connect the ODU and feed internet to the IDU throu the network cable

The two device are power hungry device which is while if you are not really on band A or using inverter you will not enjoy it cos the max the battery of any of the ODU can power it is 5hrs ....mine power both for just 3hours 20 mins before I retrieve the sim and use it in the smart box , funny enough that battery power the smart box every day from 6am till 11pm on a daily and I am serious about this

One battery power both ODU and IDU and it comes in the package
The battery that comes with the ZLT can only power routers (no USB space ) thou I have another battery bank that comes with Airtel smartbox (the one you connect to tv) that I previously use to power this particular smartbox (now it's resting )

Depending on your situation people buy another ODU instead of subscribing so they can have 2 batteries to power one ODU long enough

Wat smartbox are U using that serves you from 6am to 11 pm , pls I will love to see the pic ... I want U to know that odu receive more network than any router U will buy .... If U hv a poor network in Ur environment using an odu Sim in a 4g router will make ur network poor .. If you are getting a poor network on your 4g router I won't advice U to do that, on my 4g router.. the maximum speed I have eva seen is 14 Mbps but since I got my odu ,I have seen 50mbps and very fast .. more than 10 devices connected and the speed is still the same .

Ppl buy another odu with different reasons, some buy just for the fun of it because is cheap , some buy because dey want to try another model and few because of ups

Instead of buying another odu , why don't U buy a 5v to 12v cable on temu or AliExpress and itel 22watts output power bank , U will enjoy your odu 24/7

6gb in 30 minutes is slow? Well that time frame is usually not static, adjusts based on speed and other factors.

On a normal day, it takes like 17mins max , with lot of devices connected

I also have the same g5fa that's the ip for odu
He's using the ip for the indoor unit that's why he cant see the option to lock bands

What is your experience using that type of odu, I need a review from you bro, some of my frds got the odu, but the network has been so poor, but after locking to band1 the network is better than b4

Get the odu ,. You won't have any problem.. if you want to be moving it about just like me, I will advise U to buy the zlt x17u.. it is lighter and easy to carry, with 5hours plus of backup

The cash was sent back, just as you said. I now have an extra ₦2,500 in my SmartCash account . So I advise everyone to pay for their ODU using the Airtel app—but you must have SmartCash on your phone

I just subscribed to a 50 Mbps plan using SmartCash. The Airtel app redirected me to SmartCash, and the full ₦25,000 was deducted. I guess they’re no longer giving the 10% bonus.

U are using a pc I guess... I can't find all those on the router page , I am using a mobile phone tho...

I use G5F, it's my trusted ODU.

If G5FA is like it, go to System and scroll down to Developer options. There you can see how to lock bands. Bands only. Locking cells requires a script.

re U using a mobile to access the page or a PC ... Can U pls do a screenshot... A frd of mine got it , I have tried all I can but I couldn't find the band lock features on it

I set my router to restart twice a week by 4am.

..i switch off my router mostly on daily basis wen going to work so I don't need the restart features
