geekybabe:Airpeace Online payment gateway works just fine for me. Every payment I initiated were successfully processed. You can even check-in online. With their brand new aircrafts, highly professional crew and very high safety standards, Airpeace is the much needed fresh air in the Nigerian aviation industry. |
My friend maintains a HIDA Savings account with Diamond Bank and he gets interest as high as 6%. I doubt if any other bank offers that rate for a Savings account. |

Tozer:@Abujaniv, this one please. |
Chinewon88:I believe so. My interview went well until the white guy asked for my undergraduate transcript. I told him I didn't come along with it but it was sent to my school in the US. The guy no gree hear anything else and was like " I see academic transcript here everyday. " Next is 214b. Felt really bad. |
Congrats to those whose Visa has been approved. I guess 98% of these success stories are emanating from Lagos Consulate. Abuja is brutal at the moment. The middle -aged white man.. .hmmmmh. |
Dear VO, I was in Abuja Embassy on the 11th. The chat with the VO flowed well until he asked for my undergraduate transcript, I told him I didn't come along with it but my school in the US already has it. Of course there's no way I could have been admitted without it. He insisted that other applicants do come with their academic transcript to the embassy. He gave me the blue paper. I wish to reapply again. Can I chose Lagos Consulate instead of Abuja this time? Will it raise any issue? I have obtained the student copy of my transcript. Kindly advise further. |
OK. |
A.W Tozer calls it epidemic of amateurism ravaging the Church. God help us! |
His prophecies come to pass. |
But why is Buhari's name always associated with news like this....Violence, blood death everytime? |
I believe the Nigeria Project can greatly succeed to the envy of other nations, if we all eschew parochial interests and pursue common good. Let's name and shame the sponsors and perpetrators of this ugly act. Let's reclaim this nation! |
Each time we celebrate improved power supply in this country, some people can't just help getting angry, next you hear is this sad news below. Na we hold ourselves for this country o. Vandalism of Gas Pipeline Forces Drop in Power Generation to 3000MW? 08 Jan 2015 Font Size: a / A TCN Assistant General Manager, Public Affairs, Dave Ifabiyi ‪Chineme Okafor in Abuja‬ ‪The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) yesterday disclosed that the maximum generated electricity available for it to transmit for distribution across the country has dropped to 3000 megawatts (MW).‬ ‪TCN said in a statement that was signed by its Assistant General Manager, Public Affairs, Dave Ifabiyi in Abuja that the unexpected drop in power generation was occasioned by a recent act of vandalism on the nation's key gas pipeline, the Trans-Forcados gas pipeline.‬ ‪The development means that the country's electricity generation which averaged about 4500MW in recent times has dropped by almost 1500MW.‬ ‪It noted that the drop will necessitate regular supply rationing because gas supply to three key power generation companies, Egbin, Olorunsogo, and Geregu have been affected by the act.' Noticed same too. Guess it could be related to declining price of oil in the international market |
valdetino:No need to register a new one. It's an offence to do so. Kindly visit the nearest INEC office to you preferably the state headquarters and apply for Transfer of Voters card. Just 3 things are required viz: 1. Photocopy of the temporary voters' card 2.A formal application letter requesting the transfer of your card. 3. Duly filled Transfer of Voters' Card form - to be given to you at the INEC office there. Then you submit and enter your name and phone number in their register. That's all! Within few days you'll be notified via sms to come for capture in your new location. Thereafter, you'll be issued with a new voter's card and that makes you eligible to vote in your new location. Let's get set to vote in the difference makers. I see a new Nigeria! |

@yomi84: In summary, what was it like? Are they reimbursing transport fare? |
@Owenlyn: Who said the pay is 80k for two years? Is the info confirmed? |
I choose to see all these as a ploy to get Ihejirika out of the way and possibly install a Northern COAS so that: 1.GEJ will be easily vulnerable should they decide to go for the coup option in their desperate bid to take back power. 2.To weaken and frustrate the fight against Bokoharam and terrorism in the North. It is an obvious truth that Bokoharam enjoys the sympathy and even sponsorship of some political and military principalities in the north. The current fight against bokoharam championed by Ihejirika is really getting at them thus they are giving him a bad name to discredit him and get him sacked an thus pave way for them to achieve their sinister motive. This is high-wired politics and deception don't fall for it. The Nigerian Army has never had it so good.talk about the heavy infrastructural development in almost all the Army barracks and formations across the country, soldiers's welfare, incentives and prompt payment of their salaries and entitlements, to mention but a few. These they will never talk about. The people flying this kite are wicked and evil. They are part of those that have sat on the destiny of this nation this 52 years. They have an ulterior motive. This is deceit! Don't fall for it fellow Nigerians! |

HNosegbe: http://www.thenationonlineng.net/2011/news-update/60929-adenuga-mobolaji-johnson-others-on-2012-national-honor-lists.html"Imminent Nigerians"? Was that a typo or outright error? Eminent Nigerians it should be. Thought newspaper editors should know better. |
Using 'am' in place of I'm (or I am) is not correct. |
