one soup which i've rarely seen mentioned on nl is cotton strand soup.

its made from seeds of the cotton plant.

its used as a seasoning and has a rather unusual flavour.

not really my favorite but i think it deserves a mention.

fufu is made from fermented cassava while starch isnt.

I suppose starch is also made from cassava but I'm not sure.

it doesnt really taste like cassava.
