Exponental: dont be fooooled by a mere pix. Nothing associates dat pix wit a church.
.
BTW, if pix is true, then where are d oda protecting means.
Hope d walls are tall n far from d building,
hope any vehicle cannot forcefully move close 2 d people,
hope any attempt 2 throw bomb through defence walls can be checkmated

dasparrow: Did you not notice your husband was a meat 'thief' before you accepted to marry him? This is why ladies and men should look before they leap into this institution called marraige. Whatever bad habit you tolerated whilst the both of you were dating is what you will have to tolerate now that you are married. You can't change a grown man. Your husband was probably stealing meat from his mother's cooking pot and his mother said nothing. Now he has taken that same obnoxious behaviour with him into his matrimonial home. If most Nigerian women would raise their sons right and teach them proper manners rather than spoiling them rotten all because they are males, then we would not be seeing threads such as this.

As for what you should do? LIVE WITH IT!
this is one for the books no doubt.

Lujan: To me, dis attitude isn't gud... He should show some self-control & build his self-esteem. If he needs more meat, he should simply ask his iyawo for more OR go out & patronise suya joints. Himself going to d kitchen to "take/steal" meat like a greedy kid...it's unacceptable.
for real.

Culture › Re: Would There Ever Be Universal Unity With Colored/black Folks? by tpia5: 11:57pm On Jul 03, 2012
blacks do not all have the same history or same ancestry.

they are typically some of the most diverse people on the planet because they're mixed with everything and everybody.

so, expecting everyone to be the same by virtue of some magic wand of blackness which confers automatic afinity with one another, isnt very practical.

being black doesnt make someone a brother. Its your attitude towards a person that does.

Lexusgs430: Next time he does it, beat him the exact way your mum beats the househelp and pull both of his ears afterwards.
the problem is some young girls will be looking at this topic and feeling when they marry, its ok to start ranking your husband with the househelp and stare at his mouth in anger every time he eats meat.

Politics › Re: I Did Not Shun GEJ - Oba of Benin by tpia5: 4:25pm On Jul 03, 2012
cashmentor: Oba Ovonranmwen was betrayed by one of his Kinsmen, who showed them his hide out and handed him over to 'em.... Benin in turn was Betrayed by external tribes within (probably envious enemy tribes in the south south)
the British attacked on a day the Benins all were not at Home....
first part- not unusual.

the rest of the post- maybe, maybe not.

its not black and white.
Politics › Re: I Did Not Shun GEJ - Oba of Benin by tpia5: 4:24pm On Jul 03, 2012
PhysicsQED: Well, no it was not Ologbosere that betrayed anyone. The British had native African guides that they relied on to familiarize themselves with the terrain and to lead them to the right places before invading, but they were not actually from Benin (except for one guide that they used right before there were any hostilities from either side), but the Ologbosere was not a betrayer. He was a Benin chief and he fought till he was captured and executed.
it was both ways.

the bini guide/s were double agents working both for the british and also having loyalties elsewhere.

is there no money to buy enough meat, or is the household an exceptionally big one? huh

what some other people do is you serve the husband the bigger pieces of meat and everybody else takes smaller shares.

you can also intersperse the meat with fish for the other members of the house.

if the latter suggestions are considered unfair since everybody is equal, then go with the other comments i suppose.
Family › Re: Husband Taking Meat From The Pot Of Soup/stew: Whats Ur Take On This? by tpia5: 3:49pm On Jul 03, 2012
when you're cooking meat, if you know he likes snacking on it, then set some aside for him, this isnt rocket science.

abeg dont be opening silly threads because nobody needs some awoko coming in to give lectures on how to serve meat to a nigerian man? huh

Christianity Etc › Re: Bible Study For Bible Students by tpia5: 3:23am On Jul 03, 2012
snake seems to be a lower designation for a serpent.

when serpent spoke to eve we do not know his physical position or location in the garden [was he above her, in the tree, equal with her or on the ground at her feet], but after the fall, he was reduced to crawling on the ground as/like a snake.

genesis 3

So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,

“Cursed are you above all livestock
and all wild animals!
You will crawl on your belly
and you will eat dust
all the days of your life.

beckyomas: Op...I guess ur right but its sometin I can never do nd come to think of it, guys now are so annoying. The first thing they ask u after adding them is 'are u Hot?', 'are u up for sex chat?', 'wanna suck u' nd all sort of rubbish u can ever imagine...now which is better?
Gosh, how corny is that.

Very distasteful and rude too.

And to think some ladies will be hoping such men will be their future husbands? huh

If they're birds of a feather sha, i guess there's nothing wrong with it.

You're right- i dont think these types of guys should be complaining about sending recharge cards. After all they're helping themselves get a rise.
