queensmith: I was actually thinking the same thing, she's not poor, she doesn't seem sick in the head. What on earth happened? I wouldnt be too surprised these old perverts were jazzing these women. Same for Genevieve I refuse to believe their heads are not screwed on properly.obviously these celebrities are being matchmade, and they have to stay within these limits because there's a lot more involved than meets the eye. mostly money. i dont even have a problem with it assuming the hookups arent getting so ridiculous? kanu's own is still reasonable, the other mbgn lady's own was ok, some of these other ones are cause for concern. |
queensmith: my life! lmaothis is getting serious o!! its like every media wedding these days is between a papa 10 pikin and some supposedly "hottest" lady. na sign the land has some heavy curses working on it be that oo!! |
Sweetlemon: Excuse me, but what is so youthful about a 30 year old woman?? Have you ever heard that women have body clocks (sexually and reproductively) ? Do you know that a normal 50 year old man has more chances of bearing children than a 30 yr old woman? stay there dey do I-too-know^^her age isnt an issue here. many younger men are choosing to remain single and most of them probably wont marry until 40-60 years old. so how is 30 as much of a problem as people are pretending here? the girl is a model, won miss world, has her degree, seems to be doing fine. i find it extremely hard to believe she lacks for suitors. i didnt even know she'd turned down kanu nwankwo btw. was there no other footballer available to matchmake her with? if she must be hooked up with a politician, there's no young, single guy available? |
something is wrong with nigerian society. people who are supposed to be organizing the younger generation's weddings, are claiming they themselves are the ones who need "fairytale weddings" instead. the entire country needs to embark on marathon prayer and fasting in order to counter this spirit of destruction. |
you just think of the money and some young guys waiting for you after you get the money. .... . anyway, i'm sure the photos of their wedding kiss will be released in due time. . .. . . |
i thought coloureds were the face of south africa? |
who knows. there could also be other theories, as previously mentioned. |
oh dear, i guess we'll be forced to witness the "fairytale wedding" complete with traditional, pouring of wine, kolanut and palmwine gourd cake, etc etc. these issues are so tiring! are westerners the only ones allowed to be normal or to portray themselves as living normal lives? |
PhysicsQED: Who said they were there for anything other than trade? Who implied they were there for friendly visits?has it occurred to you the mixed population exited, or could have been forced to exit benin? move to other parts of the kingdom? just a thought. |
PhysicsQED: Well when you say features, that means cheekbones, nose shape, jawline, lips, etc. right? So what exactly is this "mixed" look in terms of specific features and who has it?mixed look meaning mixed look. ie of mixed ancestry. not something you can access/ascertain instantly, as i pointed out before. these things take time and familiarity with the subject matter, or area under discussion. not necessarily based on books either. |
poster, do you mean there will be periods of time when he's unemployed? then he should use common sense when looking for a partner, imo. for example, search for a lady with a steady job? ![]() |
PhysicsQED: Where do you think they went in the Benin kingdom besides Benin and Ughoton or where do you think they went in Edo state beyond the Bini area? The Portuguese visited several places in southern Nigeria, but I am talking about Edo state specifically.your questions arent something that can or should be answered right off the bat. it takes times to reconstruct these things. and they were there mostly for slaves, not friendly visits. |
features, mainly. but light skin tends to be more noticeable. |
The worst is Oyo and then Ogunoyo and ogun have pretty ladies. maybe you just didnt see them, or they avoided you, lol. oyos are the ones most likely to have araboid looks. and no, i'm not saying a lot of them arent dark. |
@ orikinla and beaf so, do you think becomerich is pacified now? go the extra mile and talk to the mbgn folks as well. there's some oil involved here. |
since orikinla posted the picture, maybe she's igbo or half igbo. but imo, she looks ilaje and you must notice the yoruba eyes. almond shaped eyes. and her features are yoruba. check the jawline, cheeks, etc. |
interesting. |
PhysicsQED: I honestly don't know that they didn't go to other parts of the kingdom of Benin, but there's also nothing I've come across to suggest that they actually did go to and stay in, much less try to Catholicize anywhere beyond the Bini area. And even then, their presence in the Bini area seems to have been limited to Ughoton and the capital (there's not even any mention of them going to Udo or Urhonigbe for example).maybe you should check more. I dont see why they'd limit themselves to benin alone. they'd already been to angola, congo, parts of east africa and goa. Working their way up the coast via sao tome and fernando po, in addition to other islands. |
