And may God keep some of us away from these men who intentionally bring in destroyers to attack their hometowns and wreck their family lineage? |
Well, the op has achieved his or her aim of setting blacks/nigerians against each other as she previously stated. Nothing new about that, actually - its the story of the black race. May God deliver us from the evil that resides in human beings sha. Some people are destroyers by nature. Jesus take control. |
maybe, who knows. but many still do i think. |
all things bright and beautiful "Mr Herriot, " she said, and in the dark probing eyes the pride was still as warm, the triumph still as bursting new as if it had all happened yesterday. "Mr Herriot, havent i made a difference to this dog!" |
eragon "I will. Thank you" Eragon stepped into the glaring winter sunlight, squinting. He slowly paced away, pondering what he had heard. |
emily post on weddings answers to the most often asked questions to help you survive from the moment you make the big decision until the last guest leaves the reception "We've just become engaged. My mother is waiting for his mother to call and his mother is waiting for my mother to call her. Which family makes the first move to meet the other?" As soon as the prospective groom has talked with his parents, his mother should telephone your mother, tell her how happy she is about the engagement, and suggest they get together. If your parents live far away from the groom's parents, a visit should be arranged between the two families.Whichever parents can travel most conveniently should make the trip. if however, the groom's parents do not realize they should make the initial move, then your parents should quickly do so. The only thing that's really important is that your families get together in a spirit of friendship. **opinions not mine. Simply quoting directly from book** |
the Peopling of Africa The synthesis of chadic and nilosaharan speakers produced the kanuri, founders of the kanem state, with its capital at njimi. . . . Kanem reached it's apogee during the mid-thirteenth century, when its territorial hold extended through the desert to Fezzan. . . .the resident chadic peoples were pushed out or absorbed, and a new state, Bornu, came into being. |
an african adventure I began my first morning in my new home with a tour of the hospital. . . Taking the African forest into account, it was a thouroughly credible institution, and although it consisted only of several one-storied buildings, partly in the native style, partly of wood, and partly of sun-dried bricks, it contained in the simplest form all the strictly necessary equipment of a tropical hospital. |
evbu my love When she got back from the bathroom, she found Jide waiting for her. As soon as he saw her, he jumped up and gathered her into his arms. "Hmm, darling. . . you smell nice and fresh," he said, kissing her. She found it difficult to think this was the man who was contemplating marriage with some other girl. |

Lion dey hungry you dey do arrghhhh!afi arrgghhh na. what's arrgghh compared to a lion's roar i wonder. maybe the sand in the eye thing might work, maybe it wont. that's if you have time or presence of mind to gather sand when a lion is standing in front of you? ![]() |
DO NOT RUN because a Lion instinctively sees you as prey because you will be showing the lion your back (your back neck especially). You also can't outrun a lion, Stare and make a sudden noise instead and you might have a chance.its damned if you do and damned if you dont. i doubt it matters to a lion if you're standing or sitting. best bet is to say your prayers. if its not your time yet then that's when shouting or sudden noises might work. staring a lion in the face? Doesnt sound good to me. |
What are the career options for this course? Just curious. |
Carrot juice. Very good and has no sugar. A very well kept secret. I should start a thread on how to maintain a sugar free lifestyle one of these days. |
@ poster where did you see a hausa name? ![]() |
That's bad. Lord have mercy. |
How did they arrive at this figure and also how were such a large number transported in a short period of time without anyone knowing. Just asking is all. |
and yes, girls are getting desperate and resorting to all kinds of stratagems to hook a man. i was thinking about this the other day and came to the conclusion these are an indication there is a severe shortage of marriageable men from nigeria. i think the govt [at various levels including the local one], has to do something. check around and see if we can get men from other african countries where there is a shortage of wives. if anywhere like that exists, they should send their surplus men over. |
shortage of marriageable men in nigeria also means/includes shortage of marriageable nigerian men in general [including the diaspora]. i think some of this can be attributed to the fact that many are turning gaay, many prefer to marry and date non-blacks or non-nigerians, many are delaying marriage due to finances, fear or unwillingness, etc etc. some are simply too cynical due to exposure or having seen what obtains in other marriages/relationships. |

did the lion escape from a zoo, because i dont think there are wild lions in nigeria. and are they sure it was a lion? ![]() might have been imported from somewhere else if so. lord have mercy. ![]() |
^^hmm. I don't expect a rational woman to say yes to every advance whether it is in the form of letter or not but I expect that she should be able to appreciate that someone has made an emotional investment in having feelings for her.i'm sure many women do. how they respond to the guy can also depend on their level of maturity [at the time] and also exposure. an adolescent for example might not care about niceties when reacting to love letters. in addition, let's not forget the fact that writing a love letter doesnt mean the guy is a keeper or that the feelings expressed therein will even last. men tend to be notorious for things like that. |
doubt it. |
