I know overseas you have to call a tow truck to get your car towed. Didnt know it applied in nigeria as well. |

Besides, my original contention as that the termites were eating animal droppings and you seemed to agree that it was a possibiltyi said i wasnt sure. to the best of my knowledge they eat wood, but you might know of a species that eats something else? ![]() cant say for sure until i check to see if you came across such. |
I don't take the bible seriouslyhence my deciding to show you the errors in your "logic". you're not contradicting anything i said. not to mention i'm not sure why you're taking panadol for a book you say you dont take seriously. |
go ahead. |
if he's a nler then you or him should reveal his user id. what's with all these unnecessary announcements "oh so and so is a who is who and on nl but his user id wont be revealed". ![]() dont broadcast anyone as a nler if you prefer they remain anonymous. just leave that part out. |
ok, catch you later. you atheists can argue for days over something. |
^look, do i have to spell eveything out for you. you're the one feeling defensive, not me. you and pagan's original contention was termites were roaming all over the ark and eating it up. Therefore such an ark would be impossible. that was when i reminded you of pitch. its not every substance that's susceptible to termites? ![]() |
I need to assess and critique people's dressing plz. are relevant photos going to be made available somewhere or not. will consider the other issues later. and btw why wasnt the wedding held in lagos or somewhere around that side, instead of blocking the street. uduaghan is pdp? or acn. |
Well, if I needed to transport insects for whatever reason( maybe a global flood), I'll probably put them in a box.at the risk of running a cyclic argument, doesnt that moot you and pagan's initial post i responded to? ![]() remember- you're working with pagan as a team here, as far as i know. |
my point is in the second sentence of that post? ![]() |
Martian:you have a car, and need to transport insects. How would you go about it? ![]() |
whom the Lord loveth He chastises. the case of Job was an extreme one and of course one has to wonder why God allowed him to go through so much pain and suffering- was it really necessary especially since he was such a devout man. The few things I ponder on are these: 1. We do not know how long Job was devout. What was he like in his youth? 2. Why did satan feel he had a right to attack him? 3. Job regularly offered sacrifices on behalf of his children to purify them. I feel this might be a strong indicator of something. 4. His children had a habit of throwing big parties and this was what got Job worried enough to offer sacrifices on their behalf because he felt they might have sinned against God without him knowing. 5. What went on at those parties? Did they actually open a gateway for satan to attack the family through them? ![]() 6. Is Job a Christ figure. Punished for the sins of others and taking their burdens upon himself. 7. Why did everyone keep telling him to curse God and die. If he cursed God then died, wouldnt he go to hell? And this cursing was also Job's fear for his children- that they might have cursed God. 8. Why was his wife only mentioned briefly? Is this an adamic reference? as per asking him to go against God's word. Lord have mercy sha- it's only by the grace of God. |
you seem overly fixated on the word hate. must you hate everything all the time? ![]() take your life easy abeg. ki lo le to nyen. |
REALITY101:poor little rich boy. |
So all the Vegetarian animals and insects were roaming about Noah's wild life sanctuary. Got it.like i said, think before typing. you indeed failed to get it. |
Martian:yes, termites and every other animal are free to roam around in a wild life sanctuary. nothing like ant farms, cages or any other thing that makes you, pagan and any other alawada look out of sorts. The same reason large vessels are built with steel rather than wood coated with insect resistant resins.you come from a steel seafaring family maybe. with knowledge and antecedents going back thousands and millions of years. bear with us lesser mortals. |
REALITY101:hmm. how many dollars do you want to bet on that. |
as per pitch, would termites eat through pitch to get at the wood? ![]() why do you think roads are tarred with bitumen and not sand? ![]() think it through and neither does this mean i'm saying roads are tarred with bitumen because of termites!! |
^^quite obviously you're pagan's armour bearer, hence my responses to your posts. anyway, my point is when alledgedly "disproving" something in what you claim is a "rational" or "scientific" manner, stop to actually think things through before, or instead of, rushing to type. that energy you're expending could be better used figuring things out instead of making wild claims all over the place. as per termites eating waste, well maybe, maybe not. |
i certainly studied the bible more when i was younger. really miss those times- it was nice. though these days also come with God's blessing. |
who knows. would you be offended if he did? |
Martian:take your analytical "skills" which you're using to "analyze" the topic under discussion, and figure it out nah. i mean, come on, its not that hard. |
as per the dinosaur stuff- are they not extinct? ![]() |
What does pitch have to do with termites?good question. |
^^can you explain again, in detail, for those of us who missed it. |
please let's try to use our brains here. why all the noise about termites? ![]() you folks never heard of pitch before? ![]() seriously, am i the only rational thinker on this planet. ![]() |
ok, interesting responses!!! |
wedding photos? ![]() just want to see what people were wearing. |
^^not sure what my temperament is yet until i check my temperament chart [or see your answer- either one]. but you can give it a shot as long as its simple and easy to follow with no intentionally vague interpretation. |
