Christianity Etc › Re: Is Fornication Really A Sin? by tpia5: 2:29am On Nov 15, 2011
They are claiming that they don't know what is fornication
they can check the dictionary.

they dont need a bible for that.
Islam › Re: Questions For Muslims: For Those Who Want To Know by tpia5: 1:42am On Nov 15, 2011
Why are the hadith given equal or almost as much importance as the Koran, given the fact that Mohammed did not directly write them.
Romance › Re: Do Other African Men Complain About Their Ladies? by tpia5: 1:38am On Nov 15, 2011
Although that doesnt necessarily mean the posters from the one particular state that i noticed, who are the most vocal, arent actually working under the direction of the quieter others who prefer to remain under the radar.
Food › Re: Please How To Grill Fish Using Oven by tpia5: 1:27am On Nov 15, 2011
Yes, wrap it in foil.

Not sure what you mean by up or down but if you're referring to the placement of the heating elements in the oven, maybe you should use both.

The reason why you might have to google a recipe is so you can know how long to cook the fish for. Or maybe someone can help you out here.

You can also do trial and error and find out which cooking time is better.
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Fornication Really A Sin? by tpia5: 1:03am On Nov 15, 2011
If you are fornicating there's really no need to start proving yourself to anybody.

Its your life like i said before and whatever you want to make of it or however you want to live it is up to you.

The purpose of the thread seems to be to promote s.exual immorality and casual s.ex though i still fail to see the reason why some are permanently parked here and expending lots of energy trying to persuade others of the necessity of fornication.

I suppose we all want to assume christianity is the only religion or way of life which frowns on fornication.

For the ignorant:

African traditional culture forbids premarital s.ex and stresses the importance of virginity. ATR is where you'll see a bride being given a white cloth on her wedding night which must have the proof or virginity by morning or else.

So for some jokers to start opening their corn munchers claiming fornication is supported by the bible, is too laughable to be anything but amusing should anyone take these people seriously and start opening legs anyhow.
Romance › Re: Do Other African Men Complain About Their Ladies? by tpia5: 12:50am On Nov 15, 2011
In addition, the posters in question are OVERWHELMINGLY from ONE PARTICULAR STATE in nigeria.

Various conclusions to be drawn from that.

They form the bulk, while other support staff from other tribes chip in occasionally, but usually at a lower frequency than the males from this one state.

Makes me wonder about the culture over there- i suppose its conducive to such because i cant really think of any other explanation though i'm open to any other suggestion that seems valid.
Romance › Re: Do Other African Men Complain About Their Ladies? by tpia5: 10:50pm On Nov 14, 2011
another characteristic of such people is they tend to reduce females to s.exual objects and find it very hard to have a non-s.exual online discussion with a woman.

many of them are heavily into p.orn and typically, post a lot of n.aked images of women online.

this doesnt necessarily mean they're straight however, but the p.orn is useful in ensnaring other men and keeping yet others addicted while they're being used for whatever they're supposed to be doing.

they also tend towards fatalism/nihilism when discussing relationships and/or the future, and often express fear or aggression in a knee jerk reaction when thinking or typing about females.

will also study their female counterparts as well.

alethia

try to use wisdom when you type and stop trying to start a religious war.

i specifically asked for comments by muslims about the horse and his boy

please stand aside if you have nothing worthwhile to contribute.

its very annoying when people act oversabi like this.

learn to apply common sense plz.

as far as i'm concerned, your post has nothing to do with my question and neither is anyone asking you for a list of books vetted by you.

this isnt a nigerian woman:

But what is it with the internet and misogyny?

We all need to take responsibility for our own behaviour online. What would your wife, girlfriend, sister or mum think if they knew you anonymously posted comments telling a woman they'd be better off dead, or should get back into the kitchen?

Within this burgeoning discussion, no-one is denying that 'trolling' online is exclusively directed towards women. Men definitely cop it, and yes, women troll women. Haters gonna hate (as they say). But what is clear, particularly when you take the time to read through the #mencallmethings hashtag and associated blog posts, is that women are subjected to a unique, and frankly, ridiculous level of abuse almost entirely based on their sex.

why do you think seun the site admin seems powerless to do anything about it?

because

1. the people behind it are very computer savvy. They include hackers, IT specialists, human traffickers [some of the threads are meant to entrap non-naija women and make them feel protective of the naija man targetting them, while others are a smokescreen. Unfortunately many of these women develop superiority complexes but na them sabi], etc.

2. Some of them control the purse strings of others.

3. blackmail could also be involved.

etc etc.

these are not nigerian women:

Women bloggers seek to fight online misogyny, critics decry threat to free speech

Blogger and comedienne told TheDC that expressions of hate against women are all too prevalent online, but if there is one upside at least it demonstrates just how “widespread” the hate is.

“Germane Greer wrote many years ago that women have no idea how much men hate them. Well, thanks the Internet, now we do,” Smurthwaite explained. “And it’s a problem that needs to be faced up to. Many schools already teach students about the history of ethnic minority communities and the ongoing battle to end racism. Women’s history (herstory) should be compulsory for male and female students from an early age and young people should be encouraged to understand the issues that women still face in the home and the workplace.”

Romance › Re: Do Other African Men Complain About Their Ladies? by tpia5: 10:24pm On Nov 14, 2011
its an internet thing.

many misogynists [for whatever reason] intentionally attack women using online media.

most of these people are in IT and scamming, and also into alternative lifestyles.

the attacks are specific to nationality and location.

eg on a nigerian site, their nigerian agents will attack nigerian women. Sometimes they are egged on by non-nigerian [and some nigerian] women who are working together with them either as relationship partners or otherwise.

on a white american site, their agents attack white american women.

and so on.

in actual fact, this should be an annual project
naijaryders used to have something like that- a member who goes home annually took donations for a specific project to assist the underpriviledged.

i wish i was in nigeria now sha- i could have run around and begged/disturbed people till this man gets a stable job.

accommodation wouldnt be too much of a problem either.

but why isnt the family in any church?
Foreign Affairs › Re: Herman Cain! by tpia5: 10:01pm On Nov 14, 2011
the whole thing sounds very weird to me.

if indeed he did it, then i doubt he's discriminatory in his approach, meaning it would be any female and race in sight, not only white blondes.

if he prefers blondes then he wouldnt have stayed 43 years with a black woman.

a bit late and rather d.aft to start comparing him to white males with all this he prefers blondes talk.
Christianity Etc › Re: Generational Curse by tpia5: 9:55pm On Nov 14, 2011
LORD HAVE MERCY.

cant emphasize that enough.

more often than not, generational curses tend to show up in relationships- marriages, etc.

are some black men more susceptible or is this my imagination.

na only Jesus fit save us oh!!!

4th is the minimum number, not maximum.

that's even small.

the man never marry yet, with only 4.
