hmm |
were any of these incidents reported to the police. |
simply speaking out against hate speech and instigators of crimes, that's all. evil is evil regardless if its a white racist attacking black males, or black nigerian males attacking nigerian women simply because of their [the women's] gender, nationality or the colour of their skin. evil triumphs when normal people do nothing. |
on second thoughts, @ op if you have to scout for men on the internet, and especially on nl, then there's something you're not telling us. are you sure: 1. you're not male 2. that photo is yours |
a time will come when threads with certain words in the title, will be deleted as soon as they're started, and the posters banned permanently. maybe when the site admin's female relatives get personally affected. |
can we see a link to the youtube video which was deleted [they usually leave a disclaimer there], so we can be sure people claiming a video was actually posted, arent just backing up kurus who is a well known criminal whose time will soon be here. |
or are they just trying to shock the govt into doing something. |
The current situation of the organization is obviously a major problem, not just for the Postal Service, but for the country. The U.S. Postal Service employs 653,000 people, and with the national unemployment rate already running over 9%, the country can't afford to lose more jobs. Thanks to the Postal Service's generous benefits and pensions, moreover, these are "good" jobs--ones that pay employees far better than they might get from private organizations.http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/now-u-postal-belly-153600714.html |
is the following really possible because i find it puzzling: The U.S. Postal Service Is About To Shut Down? The U.S. Postal Service is projected to lose $11 billion this year, and it's running out of cash. |
Nigerians always criticize their leaders so why the sudden surge of hurt feelings. Remember when yaradua was president we had the militancy problem in the south coupled with the regular problems of no road, no light, etc. Jonathan is president and we now have terrorists in the north, bombings, kidnappings and all manner of evil. So each president or cabinet comes with their own baggage in addition to the one already waiting for them from the mouths of nigerians. And why catching feelings over jonathan (isnt this the second thread on this topic) when all the other ones are being lambasted as well. |
Black africa sounds too much like darkest africa and not everyone would like to be called black anyway. The horners for example might not want to be grouped with bantus who make up the bulk of what's known as subsaharan africa. And they are identified based on their location also, which is the horn of africa. So, the whole thing isnt as easy as it looks. |
By polygamists i mean them and alagberes. @ poster you could also have opened this is family section or used the search function but whatever. |
If you didnt sleep with him then nothing spoil. Imagine if you HAD slept with him and then he still changes his behaviour anyway. That would have been the real problem. People really cant be too careful these days. How are you sure he wasnt seeing someone else on the side anyway. Is he a nigerien man? |
. |
^^its the culture and isnt necessarily a bad thing unless there are ethical problems involved. the parents themselves were matchmade- that's why they're both albino. |
so note his comment: I have more intelligence report than even Nigeria itself.and connect the dots. |
not so much about "beauty" per se but you look like the "relationship" type. better make hay while the sun shines and forget all this independence talk. |
my lil brother had 12 people working for him in the business i trained him in and opened for him before he decided to leave and now lives with his familly in the west without any regrets!! so??too bad for him. someone else will take his place. |
the child n the mother will be at the hospital for 3days at a cost of $25,000.00billed to who? |
No one is denying anything. We need his name, and similar report in other newspapers, without which the article is suspect. Give me his name and the argument is settled. At the end of the day, the bottom line will be his religion. 99.999% of Igbos are christians/traditionalists; this Igbo Boko Haram (if the story is true) is an outlier. He must have been kidnapped and tortured to not only become a muslim, but to join BH, so that the northern BH will bring out such propaganda to justify their actions
https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-749939.0.html note this statement: I have more intelligence report than even Nigeria itself. |
i dont see the reason for the denials. an ideology doesnt discriminate based on tribe. if your life goal is the destruction of nigeria, or operating with the idiom the enemy of your enemy is your friend. besides, i pointed out before that boko haram is also guarding the trafficking routes to north africa from southern nigeria and beyond. so why is it surprising to find southerners in the north, or a northern/foreign organization be it a terrorist one. |
the family still has two more daughters who are probably unmarried btw. should they be married off to albinos also, because i'm not sure that should be their only option? ![]() why not just let them marry other races and nationalities even if the prospective partners are non-muslim. |
hmm, interesting article on albinism there. and no, the parents shouldnt be punished over their daughter, who by the way left home 12 years ago and has been estranged from the family since then. they already have enough on their plate with the condition. here's the daughter's interview [i guess her mistake was granting one]: I’ve been estranged from my parents for 12 years; I didn’t want to have an arranged marriage – I left home when I was 18. I knew what was expected of me by my family by a certain time – marrying a cousin or someone who had been chosen for me. But I just wanted to make something come alive - I didn’t want to be married to someone I didn’t love or who didn’t love me. My parents used to say to us “Who’s going to marry our children? - They’re Albino!” It felt like they were belittling us and devaluing us because of our Albinism. It felt like they were going to marry me off with someone from Pakistan who would feel that that I owed him a favour for marrying me. I didn’t like my parents’ attitudes towards us. It was hard to digest. I still feel it was the right decision to go. It’s been tough. It was something I thought about for a long time before leaving. I don’t have any regrets, apart form losing my family. I had to feel comfortable in my own skin.http://www.paklinks.com/gs/all-views/513285-pakistani-albino-family-terrorised-for-daughter-marrying-a-christian.html so the offspring of two albinos may all end up albino? I didnt know that. |
