As in the topic, he is the omnipotent and omniscience so he obviously can see the future. then why did he create Adam if Adam was just going to disobey his command?
to set things right.

you should ask why did God place the tree of knowledge where it could be reached, or why was it in that particular garden.

Senegal dreams of 'African Einstein' with new science hub

A mathematics institute which opened in Senegal this week is the first step to creating a west African science centre, which backers hope could produce the continent's own Albert Einstein.

The institute is the second of its kind on the continent. It is modelled after the African Institute of Mathematics (AIMS) opened in Cape Town in 2003. This new institute sprang out of a larger research and education centre (Cirem).

is it nigeria or the UN?

W.Africa asks UN to boost I.Coast, Liberia border monitoring

Leaders from a select West African countries on Saturday called on the UN to bolster monitoring of Ivory Coast's border with neighbour Liberia, which is set to hold general elections next month.

Liberian authorities last month announced a seizure of a "worrisome" amount of arms and ammunition near the border with Ivory Coast, which is still recovering from a bloody post-election crisis.

Family › Re: Is Being A "good" Wife Enough To Keep A Man ? by tpia5: 8:37pm On Sep 11, 2011
if the issue of "keeping a man" already arises, then just consider him lost.

could be due to many things- jazz, wandering eyes aka cross eye [ie public tap], oversabi on the part of either or both of them, irresponsibility, instability, downlow, etc etc.

could be any number of factors.

that's why the most important thing is prayer most of the time.

but what of people who arent even religious yet have lasting relationships do you ask. Well, in that case it boils down to personal values and individual decision.

Family › Re: Where O Where Is My Boaz? Please Come Home. by tpia5: 4:06pm On Sep 11, 2011
more about ruth:

“She is the Moabite who came back from Moab with Naomi.
7 She said, ‘Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves behind the harvesters.’

She came into the field and has remained here from morning till now, except for a short rest in the shelter.”
Family › Re: Where O Where Is My Boaz? Please Come Home. by tpia5: 4:04pm On Sep 11, 2011
Anyway Ruth didn't really wait for Boaz per se, she went and laid on his bed. Can't happen in today's Nigeria without the men singing your name, branding you a slut
she laid at his feet, not on his bed.

the old testament is very strict about immorality and suchlike.

and the reason why she wasnt branded a slut was because some things happened prior to that. She didnt just risk her life for no reason.

for example, this was one of Boaz' previous conversations with her:

At this, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She asked him, “Why have I found such favor in your eyes that you notice me—a foreigner?”

11 Boaz replied, “I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband—how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before.

12 May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”

Watch and pray.

You cant really predict who is or isnt trustworthy. Even someone from your own village isnt a 100% guarantee of safety.
Family › Re: Where O Where Is My Boaz? Please Come Home. by tpia5: 11:52am On Sep 10, 2011
I'd say rebecca and isaac.

Rebecca was hardworking, sincere and kind hearted and that's what made her stand out when the man sent specifically to find a wife, met her and decided to look no further.

Nothing wrong with the ruth example but she had a lot of sorrow which most younger girls can not relate with.

Just my opinion, not meant to be general.
