he's back and so what. i'm getting tired of the welcome party sha. things like this are the reason nigeria never progresses. |
Omg which country is that. Is it in africa or the middle east. |
i do hope akanbi-edu knows he's addressing a male, or transgendered. i also hope he [akanbi-edu] isnt confusing me with a rascal? ![]() |
those were interesting and chaotic times i must say. |
juju worshippers are found everywhere in nigeria and they also use menstruation pads as blackmail when trafficking their hapless female victims for prostitution. |
women's menstruation is very important to juju worshippers in various parts of nigeria. |
Manuel Álvares (1526–1583), a Portuguese Jesuit Educator, in his work "Ethiopia Minor and a geographical account of the Province of Sierra Leone", writes about the "Biafar heathen" in chapter 13 of the same book.[32] The word Biafar thus appears to have been a common word in the Portuguese language back in the 16th century.mincuu may be right. probably araboid derived or something like that. The exact original region of Biafra is not restricted to Eastern Nigeria alone. According to the maps, the European travelers used the word Biafara to describe the entire region east of River Niger going down to the Mount Cameroon region, thus including Cameroon and a large area around Gabon. The word Biafara also appears on maps from the 18th century in the area around Gambia.also applied in south or central america as well, in previous centuries. the meaning seems close to repatriated persons or something. |
hmm, maybe i need to tone down my SUism so i can benefit from the largesse of our nigerian men and eat a bit of the national cake. afterall why am i doing sufferhead and typing long grammer when dressing skimpily and showing some skin will net me a lot of goodies and greenbacks. all the "intelligent discussion" is getting me nowhere cos i'm as broke as ever? ![]() |
I never for one moment doubted my parentagedoubting parentage can only work when there's no physical resemblance. tried it occasionally during stressful times while growing up, but to no avail. i couldnt go nowhere. ![]() |
i always recommend the movie meet the robinsons. that film is one of the best. |
In most cases the kids turn out to be renegades after finding outtrue. many of them can develop severe mental stress after they find out as adults. however, i think if they're already aware while young, it might reduce the effect somewhat. i forgot to mention- if the child doesnt know by the ages of 10 to 15, it might be better not to tell them at all. Or wait until they're 40ish or something. just my opinion. |
baslone:sounds good. |
yes, some people take their garri with milo or bournvita. |
Chintua:liar. like you ever met a yoruba outside the brothel in your whole life? |

Besides, i think the child probably has a right to know details surrounding his or her birth if it was unusual in any way. Denying the person such knowledge might be what leads to the severe reactions once they find out as adults. |
I think telling the child while they're young might be better. Of course people will mock at family functions and the like, but that's just one of those things folks generally have to live with. Some people are simply gbeboruns to won moro so and not much can be done about that. Let them mock and go back to their houses. Sometimes letting a child know the details of his or her birth could be helpful, especially if it was something unusual or which stuck to the parents minds for some reason- ie if there was anything out of the ordinary about it. I've mentioned something like this (not adoption though) before about my own self and i think the fact that it wasnt a secret has kind of removed the edge from whatever impact it could have had, unlike if i'd never known until i was in my twenties or something. In yorubaland, anything unusual relating to a child's birth gets recorded as a name- that's why we have names like ojo, aina, alaba, idowu, etc |
The james bond story is obviously fake. Must we swallow everything we hear even when it's clearly not kosher. |
is the girl not yoruba? ![]() i assumed she was. if she isnt, then na him enemies send am then, and he fell into the trap. |
ezeagu enough of the yoruba hatred. face other things. and quit asking d.aft questions which add nothing to anybody. i dont see you wondering who calls africans booty scratchers. unless you want to say you're not african, and frankly, you need to come clear on that. |
yes, it's normal with yam or asharo. |
