ezeagu:very few yorubas actually know or have heard of oyotunji. so, its not a competition for crying out loud. oyotunji is an AA thing, so no need to start having hurt feelings because of it. the people are americans so what exactly is the problem. i didnt hear of all this brouhaha during the roots era. and africa is a big place- there's still more "connecting" to do with all kinds of tribes there. the tuaregs sef havent started claiming their own yet. |
yes, they "decided". |
who knows. and what kind of a name is boris anyway. nigerian dey bear boris? ![]() |
this karen looks so weird. btw, was it last year when zimbabwe got so angry they took second place, that the zimbabwe govt actually awarded their contestant an equivalent amount of money as the prize winner [who happened to be nigerian]. so, this year, they shared the prize between nigeria and zimbabwe? ![]() showbiz. |
^^gbam. right on point. dont know the song in question [thought he sang about ifeanyi or ifeoma], but this whole thing always sounds so cliche and practiced. |
true. |
^^i dont think you need to explain yourself to anybody. let everyone be convinced in their own minds. |
thank goodness for small mercies. the thread has been moved and i have no idea why it was in politics to begin with. did beaf start the thread to hail himself? ![]() |

Men don't marry wives to beat or kill them.at least most dont, i hope. lord have mercy on today's marriages. |
not interested = not following tpia around. interested = always following tpia's posts. dictionary definitions: -If you are interested in something, you think it is important and want to learn more about it or spend time doing it. -1.having an interest or share; concerned 2.influenced by personal interest; biased or prejudiced 3.feeling or showing interest, or curiosity so, you seem to have it really bad. Wish i could help but unfortunately i'm not into black guys. |
Like father, like pikin . Johndoe100: Johndoe100:just pointing out the contradiction in your thought process. |

he's been here since 2006 but with only 105 posts. interesting!!!! quite obviously the guy or girl has other monikers he uses to cause trouble here. |
who is he. |
thread has nothing to do with politics btw. can it be moved elsewhere. |
the real issue here is are mud huts a good or bad thing. since some people have screamed themselves hoarse because they claim they saw mud huts in the southwest, while barely a thread later we have others patting themselves on the back because they said there are igbo mud huts in virginia. so can we clear up the dichotomy. when are mud huts good and when are they bad. |
@ topic any updates on how that baby is doing? |
may God not allow Boko haram to bring Nigeria to this kind of situationamen. may God not allow any boko haram in whatever form, ethnicity or region, to turn their village into a wasteland. |
It is better to let the child know early on in life that they were adopted, it is easier to deal with than finding out when your in your teenage years or older, An adoptive child will always want to know who their birth parents are, and its nothing to do with the parents who have raised them, its not knowing where you actually came from, I have a brother who was adopted he was raised no different to the rest of us, and we treated him the same he was one of us, He searched for his mother when he was old enough, even went as far as meeting her, he met her a couple of times and that was it, His birth mother never became a part of his life, My parents were supportive of him searching for his parents.i think its somewhat easier when the adopted child is a different race or nationality. dont know why this is so and of course i could be wrong. |
james 1 13-18 13Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:1 peter 5:8 Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour |
its alway better to use a stunt double. hope he's ok. |
from the arguments of beaf i only see embodiment of supreme ignorance and lack of appreciation of situationstrying to drag the forum back into the dark ages. ![]() |
