my problem is i was brought up on the western ideal of love, but from what i see around me, it's quite obvious there's a fundamental problem with that because happy feelings alone do not keep a marriage.

the rate at which marriages are breaking up these days is cause for concern.

clearly something is wrong with the institution.

if arranged marriages work better, then people should give it a try.

you still believe in arrange marriages? people should marry who they love and want to spend their life with, to have an arranged marriage is cruel to both husband and wife & you are here opting for that!

arranged marriages are more stable than these lovey dovey ones.
