once again, the topic has been done to death on nairaland. i think the op meant his thread for those who go to the north for sexual tourism. yes, you'll find what you're looking for there, as in anywhere else in this world, so no need to act surprised. |
didnt someone in sexuality start a long thread about how he was bleeping adamawa girls, so what exactly is the surprise element here. northern nigeria has very strict attitudes about morals and sexuality due to the Islamic culture, so girls arent encouraged to be promiscious. That's the long and short of it, and let's not get into arguments about whatever. however, that doesnt mean there are none who are. even in the west, muslim girls from conservative homes have gotten into serious trouble for not toeing the line. poster, dont malign the whole region because your friend met up with girls who matched his player lifestyle. as for the first one, well, it was painful no doubt, but i suppose it just wasnt meant to be. |
That is not how they do thing here.6 out of every 10 guys here own a firearm so it will be silly for anyone to grope a woman in public not to mention the legal implications. That however does stop our brothers from misbehavingbut isnt south africa always in the news for things like r.ape and so on? ![]() crimes against women and targetting women? ![]() the nigerians there must be imbibing the culture. well, that's how i see it, not saying it's set in stone. neither am i saying it cant happen in nigeria but it just sounds strange. |
as for this story: The four nigerians were trying to talk to a married malaysian women as she came to playground with her children in kepong kuala lumpur, maybe they were drug dealers or the woman could be lying. or it could also be a miscommunication. In what language were they addressing the woman? ![]() any links btw. well, nigerians tend to inculcate some bad habits from abroad. |
the whole story is very confusing to me. playmode, did you say you were in south africa. maybe that's how they do things over there. |
^^ you sound suspiciously like kb1. hmm. |
i hope chigozie isnt fstranger sha. |
^^ i was robbed at oshodi and people were wondering how i escaped being molested during the robbery. well, i wasnt. all they took was my money. I did go to the markets regularly but i didnt observe any groping. Maybe I'm just not observant about things like that. Yaba in particular I was constantly visiting, at one time. Same story. I bought my wares, window shopped, and returned home. even the meat section with all the randy boys and stuff, wasnt a problem. alaba- nothing. I bought a tv there or isnt that the electronics market? ![]() so , i guess i didnt have whatever it was that led to groping and the likes. however, people have different experiences. |
Yes, I know, but it is my name. If I marry, I will keep my name, because more than likely my future husband will be like 99.9% of AA and carry the name of the family who enslaved his ancestors.
chigozie, I've already asked some pertinent questions here: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-668003.0.html on behalf of all we women who need a man tailored to our specifications. thank me later. which one suits your fancy btw or do you need some lighter ones. the first guy isnt bad though. |
Trust me when I say, you won't see us paying Canadians or anyone else to construct our system, if by slim chance we are lacking the knowledge, we will send US citizens to learn what is needed than bring that knowledge HOME.can you be any wronger!!!!!!! |
playmode:like i mentioned before, i did not experience any such thing when i lived in nigeria. Nobody groped my behind and neither was i sexually harassed in the market or even at the travel depots, with all the bus conductors and agberos there. i already gave possible explanations why. I was a regular in lagos markets as well. so, it's either i was invisible or for whatever reason touts did not feel comfortable approaching me in that manner. Of course you'll speak of your own experiences and I'll speak of mine. I believe my post was clear and detailed enough, so reread because i dont intend to repeat or further explain anything i said. I have friends who received wolf whistles and lewd comments, but to the best of my knowledge no actual touching took place. this was in nigeria- i cant speak for the ones in south africa or malaysia. However, nigerians typically take on many of the habits and cultures of the countries they find themselves in, so that could be one explanation. neither am i saying r.ape isnt widespread in nigeria. |
nawa women and dis dere stoopid missin periodsyou sound so d.aft. |
hmm, he might o, if it's on the market. if he makes a good enough offer, would seun take it i wonder? ![]() ** not an invitation to 419ers plz** |
has she informed his relatives he's telling her to abort the baby? ![]() of course things may be hard but imo its only three months till delivery so why is he still tripping. ![]() if my parents had aborted me due to the inconvenience of the pregnancy at the time would i be here today typing. and next time, use a condom or get a vasectomy if you mean business? ![]() some people are praying everyday to have children while others are throwing theirs away. |
the roads arent usually this crowded on sundays unless i'm out of touch. |
@ playmode we seem to know different nigerias. In all my years there, i never saw anything like what you're saying. So, imo, it could be 1. this internet generation is no longer separating internet fantasy (online lasciviousness) from real life, 2.the women involved could be lying perhaps or giving the men the come on (admittedly a relatively few percentage of women would do this though i could be wrong), 3. the men have gotten worse and no longer know how to behave. 4. you are exaggerating or else move in questionable circles. but I've never experienced anything like you describe- this could mean they dont bother with me because I'm too ugly or dont have the required criteria that brings out their horndog. of course could also be that i'm not a typical nigerian? ![]() but the verbal persistence is what nigerian men are known for, not all this one you're claiming. however, you could be right and i wrong, who knows. nigerians pick up all kinds of bad habits overseas. |
By the way, Justwise has also wished death on me 3 times in this section oh, yet you don't see them utter a word then but the way you abused him nah- even me wey i be veteran in such matters, i sef dey fear. |
the GE turbine saga in which turbines bought with millions of dollars were laying waste at the sea ports 'cos no available crane in the country to toll them to sitehow embarassing. when did this happen. |
^^sounds like you're praying for your kids to be fatherless? ![]() |
@2buff let the matter be. i don explain tire. |

^^correction: as princeK12 pointed out, there are three ways to interpret what was said. 1. i want to date you 2. i want to sex you 3. i want to marry you. and like I said, none is an appropriate response to "hello" unless you're in a nightclub or brothel. |
^yes, i pray every day that you'll give a yoruba, black, nigerian girl a chance to be your girlfriend. you wish. |
There's also nothing wrong with a bachelor wanting to get to know a lady. You are I would have never had parents if that didn't happen at some point.manners are important else we'd all be swinging from trees. |
^^hmm. i'll still go with my original statement. ![]() |
hmm. |
