I'm guessing your actual focus is on abortion since you grouped it with other things of lesser importance and which are non invasive. Is abortion a personal topic for you or what's the reason for your question? |
And again. |
So many nlers begin their threads with "I visited someone" Let's Try Something, Stop Telling Us What You Observed In Somebody's House |
Look up the meaning of optional. |
Dont get on my nerves oh. |
It can be shameful sometimes when they type with such confidence but a simple response shows them as being somewhat silly. |
Sea urchins are not commonly eaten in Nigeria. https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-health-benefits-of-eating-sea-urchin-uni |
Never mind, the person edited their post. Might have been a typo. |

I think lime might also work if lemon is scarce. Just guessing. But generally, limes can be substituted for lemon. |
In order to avoid resentment at being told to avoid certain measures used for symptom relief, it's much better to examine why and how the treatments work. (Note, no one said it's a cure). I don't understand exactly the manner in which lemon gives symptomatic relief, but it clears congestion temporarily. Drinking something hot or warm also makes the person feel better if only for a while. |

hey, that's not good. |
And drinks eg soda |
Some fruit too. |
Also, meat and fish would be a good idea. |
You dont distribute yams as palliative measures, it would be too costly. |
Also, is it embarrassing (for Nigeria) when nlers/Nigerians go on well-to-do people's timelines to ask for money via social media? |
Do you feel such requests should be banned on nl? It was debated on the following thread: https://www.nairaland.com/2613056/rule-22-against-asking-money |
These days it's important to appear focused. |
If you're impressed by the items you were given, mention it here. |
@ illicit there are ifa threads where you can ask your questions about the religion. This is not a religious thread, that's why it's not in religion section. Dont talk at me, thanks. Talk to me or not at all. Preferably the latter. If your comment is off topic, don't post. |
I think they've been doing that for more centuries than we're aware of. |
Usually many Nigerian names consist of multiple words joined together. To get the meaning, you understand the order in which they are arranged, as well as the interpretation of the mini words themselves. These could be nouns, adverbs, verbs, adjectives, you name it. Chances of misinterpretation are very high for non native speakers or if someone does not have an indepth understanding of the specific language, especially Yoruba. |
Could Nigerians ever catch a break. Always one problem or the other. Govt orders lockdown, Nigerians say we cant lockdown, it's like punishing us. People take lemon for symptoms, they're told dont do that . Dettol is a no no even when it's been used in Nigeria from time immemorial. The world says chloroquine is a cure, Nigeria says fake chloroquine circulates in Nigeria. Someone receives assistance from food bank, get jumped or dumped on by naysayers as if he committed a crime. The whole world has a virus, Nigerians cant agree on if they have it or not. |

Or are they an independent agency with their own parameters and not answerable to the current health grid? |
What are your thoughts and comments about this situation? Note, the thread is only for those who are of age and never had suitors. |
What is the issue here? ![]() And why do folks (Nigerians/nlers) want to ruin it for those who need the assistance? |
Omo and Ekun are not in the same frame of reference. You mean Amotekun. |
I don't feel a need to insult entitled folks here who believe the universe revolves around their petty interactions with the world, just find your manners wherever you kept them. If you have none then google it so you get an idea. |
