I support the idea of having another national identity card. This is because the first one was muddle up with a lot of errors and mistakes. There were so many people who were not registered due to poor manpower, planning, and lack of working computer facilities. I would also recommend the introduction of a social security benefits for every Nigerian youth that is 18years and above that is unemployed. In the western countries of europe and america, social security benefits is paid to their citizens. Nigeria is a very rich country, if the country money should be spent for the general well being of its citizen. There is complaint of lack of money but have you realize how much money is being stolen by our so called political office holders? |

[b]Nigerian Political Office holders need special pre-office training. At the moment, many public office holders do not know their responsibilities to their electorate. They think public office is just for the highest bidder. I would suggest that a National Political College should be set up by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The college is to train political office holder on their responsibilities to the citizenry. It should be made compulsory for all public officer from Federal level to Local government level to pass through the college before seeking for public office. Many Nigerian politician are not well trained for the job of managing their political officer for the benefit of the citizenry. Take for example, the senate and the house of representatives down to the state house of assembly. It is just financial scandals and gross behavioural indiscipline. The country spends so much money on bureaucracy without getting much infrastructural development (Lagos Lawyer Mr Femi Falana comfirmed this recently in a seminar ) Nigeria is a rich country put the country citizenry do not enjoy out of its vast wealth. Senators and Other politicians are getting richer every day for no work done. [/b] |

I am a user of india web proxy connection. I use the highest package. I want to confirm from fellow user in nairaland if it is possible to access yahoo messenger with the software. I tried it but my system can not access it. I want to chat with my friends using yahoo messenger. Please assist advice me if you have a reasonable information on this issue. My second question is based on the speed of the software. How do I increase the speed of the software so that I can browse fast with the software. I do not expect it to be like internet broadband in terms of speed. But like Oliver Twist, I rather ask for more. Is there way of increasing my browsing speed. Seasons greetings to you. |

I have been trying to get information about the tribe, state of origin of Mr Peter Esele, the Secretary General of the Trade Uniion Congress. I can not find it using google.com ( thanks to Nigeria poor information management ) Please I want member of nairaland to assist me with the tribe and state of origin of Mr Peter Esele. I also want to know his academic history or background such as the school he attended and the course he studied. Commercial motorcylist often referred to as "OKADA" are a menace on Nigeria road. They drive without respect for safety rules thereby making the road unsafe for other road users. There have also been cases in which Okada rider engage in crimes such as armed robbery and kidnapping. [b]The federal government should scrap polytechnic education if they consider their programme irrelevant. There is so much discrimination between a poly graduate and their university counterpart. university graduate seems to be given first opportunity in all jobs consideration in Nigeria. Take for example, the current NNPC Nov/Dec 2010 recruitment, you can see how they are being employed in the experienced professional cadres. The federal government only manage to open a few slot for polytechnic graduates in the technical or engineering dept. Why not open the door, let everybody be you poly or university go there and struggle to pass the so called interview. Another thing that make me so sad about the NNPC recruitment is the discrimination against Bachelor degree holder who holds second class lower division. this is unfair? NNPC should not ask for only Bachelor degree second class upper. What NNPC should have done is to throw the door open for both first class, second class upper, second class lower and may be a pass to come and prove their worth. Nigerian university is very corrupt lecturer just give this degree not on merit but on personal and tribal patronage. May God help Nigeria![/b] |

I recently install india web proxy in my computer system. I want to confirm if one need to pay subscription fees for the internet connection. The system does not browse fast so I do not see the reason why one should pay for indian web proxy. if I am to pay for subscription for india web proxy which company will I pay to. In summary, I really want to know if india web proxy services is free. I want to know if there are ways I can make their software browse faster.
