This was my position on this matter way back in March @ArcSEMPECJ
|
atobs4real:His problem is more with the fact that the crime he committed, extends into the Crown Court where he perjured himself by lying under oath and presenting forged documents to His Majesty’s Court. The British are monitoring the case closely which if swept under the carpet, would further dent the image and credibility of the Nigerian government and institutions and ultimately the relationship between Nigeria and Britain. This one don pass who him know. Even Tinubu can’t help him even if he wants to. |
insidelife22:Shouldn’t this be an opportunity for you and your types to learn and cure your wilful ignorance? Not everyone in the South is as ignorant so speak for yourself and stop the “all us down south” bull s. |
Na so! Mike Ozekhome would have been among this crowd running his mouth by now if dem never catch am Only less than one person among this individuals here is upright in their dealings. Na when breeze never blow to expose fowl nyansh |
People still take this clowning buffoon seriously? His morons still haven’t asked him about the reply he got from FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL. Guy man continue chopping his mugus. |
Kanu go tey for there o. The only person that will grant him immediate pardon is PitObi but he will not be president. No reasonable or responsible government would do that. Even foreign governments will see Nigeria as a joke if they do. Just being honest and realistic. |
Since he made Odili, Amaechi and Wike why is he not giving Fubara the upper hand in all these political drama even though it is well known that he’s one of the people that have been deceiving him into an unnecessary battle all along. |
ArcSEMPECJ:You are right there are many that should have been gone today but…. I mentioned that the crime started in the UK and the involvement of the British authorities who will now be monitoring the case closely to know the outcome Nigeria wouldn’t want to close opportunities for future collaboration with the British, and also give the impression that despite all the evidence of forgery and false presentation made by Mike Ozekhome at his Majesty’s Court, that such crime could be swept under the carpet just like that. Bro it’s unfortunate but it is what it is. |
ArcSEMPECJ:This one will be hard especially as the crime started in the UK and it seems like it’s the UK authorities that tipped their Nigerian counterparts off regarding the forgery and false pretence, so Nigeria will have to use this to prove at least to the British authorities that they don’t sweep crime under the carpet. Mike Ozekhome is gone. The best he could do now is just use all the wayo known to him to delay the trial. He should just plead guilty, get a reduced sentence, disappear from public view and retire to Auchi where he will be picking mangoes and cashews every morning as a hobby and reflecting on life. I’m sure he has a stash that would keep him going till the day God calls him. |
erico2k2:If u think the Uk government “don dissert the case” please tell Mike Ozekhome to travel to the UK even if just for vacation. U guys don’t know the deep dark pit he’s dug for himself when he presented a forged passport to His Majesty’s Court under oath. |
Atlantis585:because u r a muumu doesn’t mean everyone is. If you knew Wike’s wife’s background you would know that Sowore who has no pedigree, but owns a house in the US, was just chasing shadows and fooling your kind from the get go. Wike’s wife’s mother is a black American. She was born in the US and only came back with her dad to continue with her secondary education. Her father (still alive) is a US trained surgeon who became commissioner for Health, Education etc in the old Rivers State and ran a successful private medical practice and other businesses. She herself was a practicing lawyer before becoming a judge. Sowore who studied geography in Unilag and worked only as ‘an activist’ could own a house in the US but Wike’s wife or family couldn’t. U no dey ment so? |
Sundaymessi:It was amended with the new discovery that the passport he presented to the British court was fake. He forged a passport for a character that doesn’t exist, which he presented to the British court as to convince them that indeed, such person exists. Honestly, if I were you and others that love Mike Ozekhome so much, I would do dry fasting and prayer for him because he’s in a very deep shit. As a fact, if he ever steps his foot in the UK or any country that the UK could extradite him from, he’d be arrested and charged for perjury because he lied to the court under oath, and gross misrepresentation. |
Atlantis585:Why not ask your Sowore to show you the reply he got from Florida Attorney General. Abi he just used your brain play draft? |
owobokiri:Please how did Uzodinma retire Arthur Nzeribe? |
DMCY:I just don’t understand what you are on about. U should be asking if they possess the required qualifications and competence. What if she was the political caterpillar behind her husband? Some women have even become presidents and prime ministers because of the misfortune of having the husbands killed as a result of their political involvements. Go and read about Corazon Aquino of the Philippines and Indira Gandhi of India. It has even happened in some South American country I don’t remember exactly which. It is not the first time it’s happening in Rivers State. |
Chei Nnamdi na good man o Mek goferment release him abeg so he go release all the northerners in detention.. Why goferment dey suffer good man na Good man dey chop half done beans and fura for the land of sokoto. E no good o |
DomPerignon:The only people that tipped off the Nigerian government of Kanu’s travel to Kenya were the British Authorities. Kanu was already a nuisance character to the British society. They had initially interrogated him on his activities, and sent him another invite but he chose to leave the country before the date. It was the same period that Adeyinka grandson was arrested and subsequently convicted so Kanu saw what was coming to him and left the country not knowing he was making life easier for the British. At least he did not make them waste their time and tax payers money to get rid of him. |
Burob:Which “deportation back to his country the United Kingdom”?. He’s loosing his acquired British citizenship due to his conviction for terrorism, that’s what the law says. He’s never stepping foot in that country. |
I think there are people doing this deliberately. When you debunk whatever they put out there in your name, they begin to call you a ‘coward’ ‘ fear fear’ etc and we know those that use these words a lot. They have used names of people like Kumuyi, Akpabio etc and I expect more |
Racoon:We love Wike because of the way he contained the terrorist ipo b by flushing the swines out of Rivers State in a jiffy, the reason clow ns like u keep crying day and night. |
Carry stupidity to another man’s country and blame the government for making you not to stay in your country. If you can’t function in a civilized society without constituting nuisance why leave your country? |
kettykin:Lolz the biggest mistake Tinubu or this government would make is to file a nolle prosequi or drop the charges against him without allowing the trial concluded and have him convicted. I believe the British are also thinking in that line so they would have reason to ban the nuisance character from ever stepping his foot in their country that could cause them to waste their tax payers money on him. They will castrate him with a conviction and afterwards those crying for a ‘political solution’ should increase their decibel so as to get him a pardon after spending maybe 5 years. He would come out knowing that the world isn’t flat after all. |
valentineuwakwe:Shouldn’t you be reminding Sowore to show you the reply he got from “Florida Attorney General”? |
DomPerignon:They can actually sue and appear as Witnesses but can’t be compelled to. In 2020 Wike as a sitting governor sued Thisday newspaper for defamation, won the case and was awarded the sum of N200m in damages. |
You should have at least shown us the court order and why it was given. Also, showing us the documents of ownership or lawful possession would help us make informed judgment as to whether the government is right or wrong in their action. |
ogascomax:Grease whose hand? Both families are not poor people. |
thomas2024:Oga all over the world Presidents have power to give pardon to convicts. There are many considerations before this power is excised and in many cases they attract criticisms. There are political, economic, social and even family considerations when using these powers so not every deserving person will benefit and not all those who benefit are deserving from everyone’s point of view. It’s purely the President’s prerogative. When Joe Biden pardoned his convicted son or Bill Clinton pardoned his own brother and political supporters, you think there are no Americans who are more deserving of pardon than they? The reality of the world is that all fingers are not equal. In this particular case, the lady has two children that will grow up without a father who was murdered by their own mother. The man’s family felt they shouldn’t deprive their grandchildren of motherly care even if their mother murdered their own son. They explored the available route of getting a pardon for her from the president. Who are you to now say that the president is wrong to issue the pardon? |
This is actually what I expected. I wonder why people went about talking nonsense. I knew that there’s no way they would have granted the lady pardon without her late husband’s family being a party to it, considering the circumstances. Some people believe they can cry more than the bereaved. I hope this issue is finally put to rest. |
I personally expect the government to have reached out to the husband’s family to seek their corporation and forgiveness for the lady before any pardon is extended. The government has every right to give pardon but for this kind of situation, all parties impacted by the act should have been carried along. |
Wow see the fire in him. He’s the real reincarnation of Ojukwu and the messiah of Igbo people. This is really amazing to behold……. now we shall sing his praise that Igbo children yet unborn will know their true messiah. 🎵 Holy! Holy! 🎶 🎵 Holy! Holy!! doncartel:And once he is convicted as expected, he will most likely be stripped of his acquired British Citizenship and never step foot in that country again. He’s in a deep shit already. |
