People like this lady are the mules and runners. They usually just arrest mules, runners, street dealer, and spotters.

When we are ready, you go after the top 3 level and you see how this useless trafficking will go down.
You may be right. I remember when drugs were found in the home of a monarch in Anambra. If they start going for the main men 90% of Anambra ‘billionaires’ will be picked up including their Bishops, pastors, native doctors, professors, footballers etc it’s a pandemic there.

If we have Chukwuma Odumegwu Ojukwu University, I don't see why Gowon shouldn't have a University named after him.

But Tinubu should have waited until Gowon died.
I personally don’t see nothing wrong in immortalizing someone like Gowon but I think we should also try to not elevate individuals above some important names and landmarks such as towns, Cities etc. Abuja, Lagos, Portharcourt, Ibadan etc should have higher institutions associated with them.

If the UK was Nigeria, I’m not sure we would still have names like University of Oxford, Cambridge, London, Leeds, Birmingham, Aberdeen etc. They would have since been renamed to things like Winston Churchill University, King Charles University and so on.

I think all these madness started after the renaming of University of Zaria to Ahmadu Bello University as a way of immortalizing the late Sarduana, then Nigerian politicians and leaders in the typical African mentality and ways of doing things, believe that renaming higher institutions after individuals is more important than keeping the names of the towns or Cities where these institutions are domiciled. For me that is not right.

It’s like the strategy is to hold him in one place then file all the cases and make sure that he is duly served.

By the time he is released on bail, he will be running from one State to the other like impala that is running for his dear life.

Failure to appear na another offence of its own and he would be charged for contempt.

More will be filed in Sokoto, Kebbi, Plateau, Enugu etc

Meen! At this rate, Dele might end up doing something really bad to himself.

Please they should keep a close eye on him.

Has she attempted to become the prime minister of UK?
You are already the prime "administerer" of APC propaganda, so congrats.
You don’t know how the British system works.

Becoming the leader of the main opposition party is already an attempt to become the Prime Minister.

If her party wins majority seats in parliament while she’s still the leader, she automatically becomes the prime minister but, she will not because her party will not win majority unless she’s kicked out and I’m sure, her party backbenchers are already warming up to serve her the hot potato.

Let me tell you, one of the reasons they allowed her to lead the party is not so much that she will lead them into the general election but so that her visibility and prominence as a black person and an immigrant, will help attract votes and supports from racial minorities but rather, she’s doing the opposite by her utterances and conducts.

She’s desperate to impress the white people so she goes overboard in disrespecting the immigrants who are mainly from the racial minorities but now also, her own country.

She’s just not very smart in my opinion.

February 1st is one year? This woman has lands all over Abuja in choice areas. She has the money to pay 10x what she’s been asked but she’s among those that think that rules that apply to other people shouldn’t apply to her.

In saner climes that Nigerians like referring to, someone like her that claims she’s fighting for her husband’s right would endeavour to play by the rules and do everything possible to not bring shame to the name.

Exactly what the FCT Authorities are saying. They gave your husband a temporary site to mobilize his equipments to execute his contracts. It was never his land. You applied to make it a permanent property and approval was given with some conditions which you decided not to honour.

Anyone who knows this madam would know that she would have been in court by now if she has proper documentation to prove they own the land instead of the tv and verydarkdirty social media man and Femi Fani-Kayode’s errand boy called Deji Adeyanju.

She and her family have made free no stress money from Abuja since 80s ranging from choice plots from Maitama to Asokoro ,Zone 4. She's been avoiding and evading government through the backdoor. She even owns hotels and Bars in highbrow areas of Abuja.

I will advise that she takes steps to ensure that these other properties are properly documented so that she won’t be acting the part 2 of this soap opera.

why don’t you caution your Vice President for saying she should remove her Nigeria name, is that not a Boko haram like statement
I never subscribed to the initial statement by Abike Dabiri about the attempts they had made to connect with her which she rebuffed. I don’t know why they wouldn’t let her be especially, since she’s just a party leader and the opposition both within and outside her party, would be looking for reasons to tarnish her image. She wouldn’t want to be seen as ‘representing Nigerians or Africans’ while fronting to be British. Any attempt or desire to meet with her even if she becomes the prime minister, should have been a ‘back room’ thing if not formal.

But it was after Abike made that claim that she doubled down on her demeaning and disrespectful comments against immigrants, blacks and Nigerians. Inasmuch as I believe the V.P and Nigeria government officials should have pretended not to have noticed her, and give her some space at least for now, most of her comments show desperation, immaturity and someone that is clearly shallow minded.

I hope they go through the proper channel to get the land back but taking the land from her is like taking one thousand naira from someone who has at least one million naira.

She would have at least 50 properties within Abuja alone that is worth more than this land and I am not including Lagos and Delta States.

If you knew the woman, you would be wondering why she didn’t just pay up the required levies and avoid all these drama.

My thought is that she never attached importance to the property until the government acted and someone that would die because of this land would have fulfilled all the requirements very quickly.

Lere Olayinka should Tell us if it was morally right to revoke ownership of the above property and sell it to his friend and kinsman,Chinda. And it was noted that Chinda was fronting for Wike.

That's the kernel of the argument.

Why Wike grabbing somebody's land - a man who fought during the civil war to Keep the country united - be treated this Way. How old was Wike during the civil war?

FCT is not Rivers State where he was the Lord and decides on everything.

He should be removed as FCT Minister for corruption.
I was going to take you seriously but when an ipo b begin to justify the civil war and support those who fought to keep the country united to back their position just because it involves Wike, it just reveals the motive behind your statement.

One way out in such cases which the family would have considered was to sell part of the land (ensuring the buyer understood the purpose of the land), then use the proceeds (even if entirely) to settle the fees, ground rents and penalties, and have their peace of mind and land.
I don’t think it’s a case of not being able to raise the money. That woman is not poor and certainly would get the money with just a few phone calls.

The woman has a history with Obasanjo or one of those top former this and that. I mean like a ‘special relationship’…. kind of thing.

What I see here is people with the ‘where was he when ……….’ mentality, people who think that they started Abuja when it was ‘a forest’ and no law or rule should apply to them and nothing anyone can do to them.

Wike's Aide Challenges Those Alleging Land Grabbing To Provide Evidence Of Ownership

Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media to the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has challenged those using the Social Media to circulate falsehood about their lands being grabbed by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) to provide genuine evidence that they owned such land.

In a statement on Wednesday, Olayinka, who also cautioned self-appointed social media activists to be mindful of being used to promote false claims, said "The most reasonable thing for anyone to do is to find out from both sides before going public with any issue"

Referring to a recent video being circulated on a land located Life Camp, particularly Plot No. 2241, Gwarimpa District, Cadastral Zone C02, Abuja, the FCT Minister's Spokesperson challenged those claiming ownership of the land to provide Right of Occupancy or Certificate of Occupancy granted by the FCTA.

Olayinka said; "A construction company, Paulosa Nigeria Limited occupied the land as a temporary office, under a Temporary Right of Occupancy arrangement granted in 1984 (40 years ago).

"For 36 years, the company occupied the land, built permanent structures on it and rented them out without any approval from the government.

"On November 18, 2020, after occupying the land for 36 years without approval, Paulosa Nigeria Limited applied to the then Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, for the conversion of the Temporary Right of Occupancy to a Statutory Right of Occupancy.

"On February 1, 2023, approval was granted to Paulosa Nigeria Limited for a Statutory Right of Occupancy, subject to certain terms and conditions.

"Some of the terms and conditions are; payment of Ground Rent Per Square Meter Per Annum, which was N50K/m² from 2022 to 2023, amounting to N2,332,143; payment of Premium of N500/m², amounting to N11,660,715 and payment of Ground Rent from 1984 to 2021 (37 years), amounting to N43,144,645.

"However, for 20 months, Paulosa Nigeria Limited refused to comply with the terms and conditions for the approval.

"Consequent upon the failure of Paulosa Nigeria Limited to comply with the terms and conditions for approval granted for a Right of Occupancy on the said land, the approval was revoked on October 10, 2024, more than 20 months after it was given.

"From the above, it should be clear that Paulosa Nigeria Limited never at any time, owned the land.

"For instance, if a student who was offered an admission to a university, refused to pay the fees stipulated in the offer of admission, and fulfil other terms and conditions for the admission, can the student have any claim to the studentship of the university?"

While counseling those who are desirous of doing human rights activism to be mindful of being used to peddle falsehood, Olayinka said, "My advice to our social media emergency human rights advocates is that they should always endeavor to investigate claims by whoever that is seeking their service.

"For instance, if the person who took his time to do that video had taken a simple step of investigating further, he would have been well informed, such that he won't be used to mislead the public.

"The other time, a certain character who went to school in the night to study Baseless Black-market Law, was on the social media, ranting that the FCT Minister grabbed someone's land.

"If he had studied law properly, he would have taken the proper step of approaching relevant government agencies for information on the said land.

"Our online lawyer would have been properly schooled that when you get allocation for a recreation park, building a school and a church on the land is a clear contravention of the condition for which the land was allocated."

AyakaDunukofia:
I have never in my entire life seen such a multitude of simpletons.

Why should there be this level of bile in a matter that is solely for the people in question?

Amaechi, Uche and their respective followers have chosen to identify as Igbos. The two men have equally opted to contest for a symbolic position as such. To the best of my knowledge, neither of these two were coerced into the decision. It is theirs. So, why the bitterness?

Ibo union, as it was then called, was formed in 1937 by the men of the time, viz, Nnamdi Azikiwe as patron, Denis Osadebe from the then Mid West, and Chief C. C
Nwuche from the now Rivers state, which was then in Owerri division. I am certain it was a voluntary gathering.

In 1976, six years after the war, the Ibo Union, metamorphosed into Ohaneze Ndigbo at the instance of Dr Francis Akanu Ibiam, former governor of Eastern region. The occasion was at his residence in Enugu.

Present were Denis Osadebay of Mid West, Chief C C. Nwuche from Ekpeye, Rivers state, Okogbule Wonodi, from Ikwerre Rivers state,
Emmanuel Aguma and Obi Wali from Ikwerre Rivers state and so on at Dr Ibiam's residence.

So, the question is: what is now new with the emergence of Chibuike Amaechi, Uche Okwukwu and their followers in Ohaneze? Are they setting a new precedent?
Please without writing too much nonsense, show us Amaechi’s name and signature in your ohaneze register or his membership card.

You can also show us the form he filled or where he indicated interest that he wants to become your ohaneze president.
