igboboy3: This Dele Momodu no get work sef.
Always replying everything and commenting on everything. Doesn't he have Ovation magazine to run?
Let him advise his cousin to get a job and a life - and stop making money on her back. We want to hear of his cousins who have bagged degrees, built companies or some other sensible stuff. He wants to "reconcile both families" only because a rich family is involved

coderXO: Daily I read/scan through 2000-3000 project summaries.
From the title/summary, you'll know if you are interested and if to open the project full detail in a new tab.
On average per day, I bid on 20-30 jobs.
So that's about 700-900 bids a month.
My bidding/ project-reading routine starts at 5-7am when I wake.
Then at sometime during the mid-day / afternoon.
Then at night before I go to bed.
The point to to cover business hours of all timezones.
When reading through the projects, @ 100 per page. Go as far as 20-40 back until you start seeing titles you saw before. That's when you know when to stop. I don't know your niche but if you devote such enormous effort towards landing a project, does that mean your successful bids are few and far between? Do you not get repeat hires? I am asking because I am on Plus and thinking of downgrading because I am constantly occupied with repeat hires and recruiter recommendations that I hardly use my bids. |

coderXO: If you make in excess of $600+ per month on freelancer, you need to be on the $49.95 plan else you will be losing alot on fees.
At $9.95 level their commission is 10%, on $49.95 level the commission drops to 5%.
The added advantage of the $49.95 level is you will have (somewhat) unlimited bids.
Peace. How many bids do you make in a month? |

homeboy205: Please all N'landers follow me thank God Oo I wouldn't have know today. At about 4:30pm yesterday I left my house at akobo Ibadan and I decided to take the railway track to Ojuirin Akobo, on my way I had my iPhone 6 in my hand and my original iPhone head phone blasting Olohun o je by Pasuma and Qdot. I was lost in the music that I didn't notice my environment. A carriage train was coming with high speed behind me, something just told me to observe my environment when I did I saw everyone looking at my direction, shouting, making hand signs but I couldn't hear anything but I understand the hand signs, they were telling me to get out of the track, 2 girls at the age of 7-9 ran towards me and they are making the hand sign immediately I grabbed them I took off my headphone, to my surprise the train is NEAR. It keeps the high tone horn blasting... After 5 seconds(without exaggeration) of me getting off the track the train passed by me with high speed about 80km per hr... My heart dropped from my chest to my feet and the only thing that came to my mind was my 6 month old daughter...
Thanks to God after all Olohun o je My daughter is not a fatherless child My wife is not a widow
Please lalasticlala help push this to front page, it might save someone else life you never know...
Heard the same thing happened last year at Aleshinloye junction along apata road Ibadan, the guy was said to have headphone on until the train crushed him...
Please all mod don't wait for graphic photos before pushing this to FP people just need to learn..

U1: If that's the final rate you got, I'd say that's a steal. I know that might sound disappointing. It pains me so much to say that the highest I ever got has been more than N10 lower than that rate. My latest withdrawal was done just 30th Dec.
Interesting. Would you believe I have recently started thinking about using my Payoneer card virtually exclusively for purchases? That's what I've been doing for a while now |

Chidinho10: Payoneer charges $5 or $2 for withdrawals from FL. How much PayPal dey charge? NOTHING I now see why you guys have never used it. The only thing is that you can only process withdrawals two times in a week. Tuesday and Friday. But for this to be possible, you have to initiate the withdrawal process latest 11pm Sunday night or 11 pm wednesday night. I only use Payoneer for online purchases Enjoy. |

I don't see the need for him to use Payoneer before you can avail yourself of his service. What I do is to withdraw from my Freelancer account to his PayPal account. Then he transfers the Naira equivalent to my Naira account. Please throw more light on the Payoneer angle |

pretts: Yes...conversion rates for withdrawals with your usd denominated cards is at the cbn official rate of 197 - $1...I guess it's better to look for anyone who's willing to buy from you at a reasonable rate and you'd do an e-transfer into the recipient's Dom account while they pay you the agreed Naira equivalent. I'm interested if you're willing to negotiate I can only transfer to a PayPal account. Do you have a foreign paypal to receive USD? |
