enieme: I'll just go straight to the point
#1. critical of your food: burnt food, salty or too spicy, recipe that didn't turn out well? E. T. C. A man that can cook is sure to notice that more than one who can't cook will. you can always sweet talk a husband that can't cook about how strenous it is preparing that particular kind of soup blalbla bla but u sure can't deceive a man that holds the big spoon.
#2. Responsibiltiy neglect: as it is th a our culture dictates th a it's the responsibility of the woman tocookfor the family, u may find yourself 'getting time's frequently and having your husband cook most times.
#3. No dine outs : since you both can cook. If u for some reason are unable to cook at a certaintime, ur husband would most probably choose to fill in rather than taking u out to eat/ bringing home take away food as one who can't cook would ssuggest.
#4. Nothing new under the sun: trying to surprise ur husband with a really 'wow' delicacy prepared by u? Chances are he's tried that recipe before.
#5. Competition: whoever likes it when the kids enjoy daddy's cooking more than mmY, the natural born cook's cooking?
*No time for elaborate explanation, No time for editing. I'll just go straight to the point - You are LAZY. Can you imagine #4? He is your husband and you do not know what he has cooked before or not? Where else, and who else does he cook for if not in the house, and for you and the kids? Seems cooking is the only thing your type will bring to a marriage to feel this threatened. Be creative. |

kilokeys: Okay.. Long story cut short.. My gf and I just broke up..
I got mad.. Walked into a veggie store.. Kado estate abuja.. Picked some items (#200) those guys are my friends.. Spent three hours in total from market to kitchen.. Came up with this..
Breakdown.. I got the apple cutting vid from YouTube..
The goatmeat peppersoup is quite easy.. Curry leaf, scent leaf ( i dunno if its d same as curry leaf o, the ibo woman forced it on me), goatmeat, all kinds of peppers, onions. And the ground peppersoup mix
Then I got Basmati rice 1kg for #850... Added my carrots (diced), green pepper, sweet pepper ( i swear, its nt pepperish at all.. Was surprised and very sweet) And the remaining.. Lettuce.. And those circular stuff are called radishes.. Not a fan sha.. But its fun to garnish with.
Cost of that meal is maybe #1500.. Which is actually worth it. Perfecto!!!! One door closes and another one opens. Now go on and open that restaurant and watch your next queen walk right through the door. |

HaIsHaR: I believe it's called Dundu. The yams are boiled for few minutes (not so long that it will be properly cooked-half done kinda), before dipping in raw seasoned eggs, then fried. Tastes nice. Thank you !!!! I thought as much cos if the egg no burn, the yam no go done. It must be cooked slightly before the dipping and frying. That was my surprise when I saw his egg still looking fresh. Will try it. |

Na so this Christmas go be? A bag of crayfish (Oron) is 37k. Last year was about 18 - 20k.
Well, had to share a bag with someone. All packed and ready for the freezer. By the way, that's one year's supply.
Happy cooking all.

Chibenze: u mean 5l.com? Well it is up to u. The deman for 5l.com chips is high because none is available to reg again, so now is the best time for me to make profit and move on. A time will come wen it is now close to renewal many will start auctioning their 5l.com chips and the demand will fall drastically.
So all the billions of nonsense chinese 5l.com that was reg who will use it?
I prefer to hold on pronouncable 5l.com.
Well lets all wait and see what happens in 9months time.
This are just my opinion i maybe wrong oh.
GOD BLESS NIGERIA You are not wrong. But then every market has a mix. The funny thing is that a lot of scenarios will play out in the next 9 months. Some will smile, some will cry, some will just shrug it off as another business risk gone bad. I will be in either the first group or the third. Lol. This is a market I am prepared to see out. Happy investment all |
