The same things men accuse women of ,they're also guilty of,when they see ladies who are doing well for themselves they suddenly become leeches.Ladies who are this and more abound,the only issue is that our men are not prepared for a woman who is independent,they often start seeking ways to bring her down,accusing her of being disrespectful and most start feeling useless ,narcissism becomes the order of the day.It's unfortunate that it's difficult for a Nigerian woman to win,you have your own money its a problem,you don't have wahala.But i'll choose having my money over anything else anyone who can't keep up should take the exit.

The Curse of the black race especially the igbo man,well i have no words for the murderer who must have made his wifes life a living hell,this is why i believe women should have a mind of their own and be financially independent,do not let anything affect your mental health,if you get married and have female kids and your husband wants to make your life hell free ,focus on your kids and train them to the best of your ability,he should go get his male kid from wherever he likes.I will not let another human being subject me to a life of misery over something i have no control over.This is one of the reasons i'm weary of igbo men who were brought up in the east.Their mentality is terrible.

Depends on the woman's body,some have tears or episiotomy which takes time to heal and might make intercourse painful,the pain associated with womanhood eh,and some people keep yapping nonsense about women,some women never recover psychological after childbirth due to the pains which makes them loathe sex,it is well o.May it be easy for us all so we can enjoy sex without worries.Forcefully resuming sex when the woman hasn't healed properly could lead to issues.

I lost my Aunty (my mum’s immediate younger sister) last year on the 4th of March. She was very sick and was always been rushed to the hospital due to Bp. The worst thing was that her pastor kept on recommending her that she should bathe with salt and drink it. She carried her pastor for head like tray.
She would go into coma and wake up or just pass out for days , thank God her immediate younger sister was staying with her back there in Lagos.she was running Helter skelter, so my mum being the senior suggested for them to bring her down to our state so she could be admitted in the teaching hospital but she bluntly refused .After much quarrel , she went into coma the next day and the hospital they rushed her to rejected her, so arrangements was made for her to be brought back home from Lagos. They chattered a Sienna and brought her down to the teaching hospital, moment before they could admit her, she passed on.
What pained me the most was the fact that the church she worshipped in for years and played a major part in their growth didn’t send a representative for her burial, the pastor that used to chop her tithe and her money did not show.Her company sent representatives and some money to my grandma. She died without getting married and without a child (feminist).
I knew her to be a feminist as at 2015 when I saw her last in Lagos, don’t know if she she changed but she died in her 50’s.
Her death pains me so much. I have had two dreams of her since she died telling me she is not resting. I don’t know why but I bind and cast her spirit. I am too young to start worrying about the dead. I pray for God to please rest her soul

Unfortunately life is not always in black and white,should you decide to stay chaste ,don't do it in the hope that someone will reward you in future,do it because you believe in it and your values,bad happens to good people and good happens to bad people,and human beings will disgrace you.Life is not fair.

All marriages are not the same.From comments its obvious its men who need marriage more but women are often made to feel they need it more,they can behave badly and expect the woman to take it all,but would not take such from the woman.Women shine your eye,most of this people just want to use you to advance or fulfill their desires of having a dummy,they do not care about seeing that you thrive or are happy.Even the Bible which we now use to justify abuse does not support the assertions made here,1 Cor 13 tells us what love is,we have people who are not willing to do all of that but still expect worship.

Some people here are just getting worked up over another persons choices and experience, FYI not all fathers provide as is often assumed,and not all women spend their money on buying wrappers I work with a lot of women with children and I see how this women prioritise their spending because of their families. The era of sole providers is fast going and most families are provided for by both parents,most people from polygamous families would choose their mothers because their fathers often have a lot on his plate and this leaves their mothers with no option but to ensure her kids survive.Those who have good fathers will say so as seen in some comments those who didn't will also say so vice versa,no one size fits all. If you're a good father there's nothing to be afraid of your children are not blind and will take care of you when the need arises.Determine to be present in your children's lives and they'll sing your praises forever.

Like it has dawned on you right,we should say yes to just anybody because we want to get married right?I'm not the overtly emotional type bro,i enjoy my own company.

I keep seeing men saying women can never be happy without marriage, why does it seem you guys want to determine whether a woman is happy or not by forcing your beliefs on her.The same women whom if asked would prefer not to even be married.I'd like to ask since you guys believe women can't be happy without marriage, so men have the ability to be happy without marriage but not women,mtcheww.I'm close to 30 ,see relationships as stress which is why I've only had one in my life.I don't have time for all the pretence I'd like to try marriage but if peradventure I do not end up with the person am dating,getting into another relationship might be out of the way because men,I don't have energy for all the drama.I'm often baffled when I see people get all excited about getting married and relationships because I understand fully its not a walk in the park.I repeat if not for societal pressure many women wouldn't get married.
