They probably have to prove themselves in training at least. IF they are struggling in training against friendly opposition with less to and less to lose it might be unwise to send them out in a competitive match.
The only problem is I don’t think Mainoo and Iqbal would have been struggling so bad against the 1st team in training.

What I don’t agree with him about is that 3rd place issue. I would rest the 1st team starters and play the bench players. We can’t afford any more injuries to starters before the final.

Truly he should rest some first team players ahead of the FA final. Bruno, Casemiro, Shaw, Eriksen, Rashford, Varane, Bissaka, De Gea and maybe Fred should not even be on the team sheet for todays game...

A President should be rated according to his reaction to either an upturn or downturn in a Business cycle and both Jonathan (upturn) and Buhari (downturn) performed woefully for their part of the business cycle

Neither of these Presidents control the price of oil which determines Nigeria's Business cycles.

During Jonathan time, the expectation was either he bolsters savings or building out of industries that will propel future growth. He did neither

During Buhari times the expectation is belt tightening and instead he became more profligate than Jonathan on ill advised infrastructure that won't achieve much ROI. Nigeria will be paying debts incurred under Buhari for decades.

The bolded is true, but Presidents are responsible for certain policy implementation that positively or negatively impact on the economy. E.g Border closure policy by Buhari and the SAP policy by IBB etc. Jonathan did better in economy but failed in other areas and was voted out, Buhari fared worst but Dayo and co are telling us otherwise.
Tinubu is very good at putting together intelligent minds to work, hopefully his health issues won't prevent him from doing well in office. Mu-Mu ticket, His health and his penchant for wasting public resource was my major reasons for voting for Obi. I will wait to see his list of cabinet members before deciding to permanently join Nihili.stjnr on that table 🙂.

Why would a person with high iQ bore us with stories of military spendings that has not reduced our security challenges but instead things have gotten worse on a broader scale ?

In defence of our admirable VP, Buhari and some useless super powerful cabinet members undermined Osinbajo. Osinbajo as Acting-President implemented some good policies like easy of doing business, Tech policies amongst others, but those policies were either cancelled or ignored when Buhari returned. Osinbajo as head of Nigeria Social Intervention Programs did well with implementation of all the programs, but the programs went to shit when it was taken away from his office and handed over to Disaster Minister. Osinbajo headed a panel that investigated Babachir Lawal, the panel submitted it report with recommendation that Lawal be removed as SGF and prosecuted. Buhari did not implement the report until almost two years later. Osinbajo's many issues could also be due to him nominating and swearing in Justice Walter Onnogen as Chief Justice of the Federation as against a Northerner which was clearly Buhari and the Cabals choice. Osinbajo brave decision to sack DSS DG Lawal Daura also put him on war part with Buhari and the Cabals, a reason Buhari never handed over power to him again. Osinbajo has his own failings, but Buhari and his useless power drunk cabinet members were the ones making all the decision in Government.
