Yes, I am preparing to vote for Buhari this time. I have seen his efforts to turn arround things in our country. The construction of federal road has commenced, corruption probes is serious.
If Buhari should come for 4tj tenure, I will vote for him. I am very sorry to have thrown my vote to people that ruin the country. Yes, all of us who voted against Buhari becuase of religion or tribe should now learn our lesson. Truth is life and I am sorry for being do naive during the last election that brought the right man to rule us. Indeed I am impressed. Meanwhile, not only that these government directors loot the cash, they also sell government properties. Check railways, etc.
Seun: Archbishop Benson Idahosa was one of the most widely respected men of God in the country. He pioneered the flamboyant, screaming style of prosperity preaching that's practiced effectively by Bishop David Oyedepo and many other faith preachers today.
Decades ago, Benny Hinn invited him to speak at his church, the Orlando Christian Center in the US. During the message, Archbishop Idahosa described how he raised the dead as a young evangelist after his pastor said, "I've never done it, but you can do it". He claimed to have raised 8 people from the dead including two accounts that he described eloquently and convincingly during the sermon. Jump to the 14m mark:
golor: What could really be the problem ! Are the demands extreme? Why promise what you can't fulfill ? Why not fulfill this demand with an agreement of ASUU not demand with a stipulated years? Why can't the government for once make us proud ? Why can't they shift the blame to ASUU by fulfilling this demand, so when they embark on strike in a short run ,we stand by the government . Personally what ASUU wants now is toake sure the government put their needs in the 2017 budget with the assurance of fulfilling it and I see nothing difficult in doing that, worst come to worst use the recovered looted money to settle this men , the promise is long and they have the right to strike if the government show no remorse of fulfilment.
Am loosing faith in this government I swear down, just do this thing ones and for all.
Nigeria is always like this, our system is so corrupt and nobody cares. The university body and the federal government always want to mess the poor Nigerians up. All these people knows how hard it has been for parents to train their children in Nigerian schools. While the rich people send their children overseas for studies, the poor ones who managed to pay the school fees here go through sorting, buying of handout, cultism, strikes and at the end no job.

The past is over, Jonathan failed to monitor or do well. This time we are seeing little of the change we prayed for. Cattle terrorism should be on check. Do not allow herdsmen to attack their host communities. Do not be biased in recovering the looted funds. Negotiate with the Niger delta for peace. Bombing them is not wellcome. Release Nnamdi kanu whose detention is generating a lot of noise. His release or detention will not change anything. Keep moving and be focused

Trump will like Islam to handle the case of radical elements among them. Peaceful and radical Islam are product of Islam. Those who speak against radical will be attacked by the peaceful, so solution is hard to finds. This time, it is going to take another level of understanding. Prophet Mohammed, who is blessed and may peace be upon him, is he a warrior or war lord. If he is a warrior, then there must be a section of Islam that will fight like him.

HEAD BLOODIED BUT NOT BOWED AND THE ASCENSION OF PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD J. TRUMP (PART 1)
Permit me to begin this contribution with an apology for my disappearance from the literary and political scene for the last one month but this was due to circumstances beyond my control.
On October 21st, five days after my 56th birthday, I was arrested by the EFCC without an arrest warrant at the premises of the Federal High Court in Lagos where I had been earlier granted bail. Thereafter I was illegally detained by them without any detention order for 21 days.
Kindly note that this was after I had been detained by them for a gruelling 67 days 6 months ago (from 9th of May till July 15th), brought before the Federal High Court in Lagos, arraigned on spurios and politically-motivated charges and locked up in Ikoyi prison for a number of days whilst I attempted to perfect my court bail.
After perfecting bail, on 21st October I was re-arrested and the whole nightmare began again: only this time it was far more insidious and worse.
Throughout the time of the second detention I was kept in a dingy underground cell at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja where I met a number of other high profile opposition figures like Senator Bala Mohammed, the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, the former Minister of State for Defence and Mr. Reuben Abati, the former spokesman to President Goodluck Jonathan.
During the course of my 21 day incarceration my abductors did not ask me any questions or say one word to me other than to formally serve me with a new set of fresh criminal charges the morning after I got there which I simply signed for.
After that I heard nothing from them and I was told nothing though I had daily visits to the medical clinic at the EFCC due to my deteriorating health.
Three weeks later, on November 10th, I was brought before the Federal High Court in Abuja and arraigned on yet another set of spurrious, baseless and politically-motivated charges.
These ones were even more ridiculous and far-fetched than the first set in Lagos. I was falsely accused of receiving 26 million naira cash from the former National Security Advisor, Colonel Sambo Dasuki, for media work for the Jonathan administration in 2014.
Thankfully I was granted bail by the court and I was detained at Kuje prison for a further 4 days whilst I attempted to perfect my bail.
At Kuje I was kept in the terrorist wing of the prison which was built by the British government specifically for Boko Haram convicts and suspects.
There were 47 of them in the facility and I was with them throughout. These were tough, disciplined, hardened, surprisingly well-educated and intimidating men.
The single cells and the entire terrorist section of the prison was pervaded by an eerie silence throughout the night and low tone whispers throughout the day. The only thing that broke the monotony of silence was the regular and constant call to Muslim prayers and the loud and regular cries of "Allahu Akbar".
This was a frightful place and those that were locked up there were very dangerous and frightful people yet thankfully the Lord went ahead of me.
The single cells, though small, were clean, self-contained, well-ventilated, dry and very neat. The inmates were surprisingly very kind and friendly towards me and turned out to be my best friends and bodyguards whenever I toured th other parts of the prison.
I was very impressed with them and when I heard their stories and what some of them had been subjected to by the security forces and the state tears came to my eyes.
Most of those men were not Boko Haram killers but had been falsely accused, tortured and just dumped into prison and I felt nothing but pain and sorrow when I heard their stories.
When I went to visit the great and brilliant freedom fighter, Nnamdi Kanu, who is the leader of IPOB and easily the most courageous, powerful and credible Igbo leader in Nigeria today in his cell we had a very instructive and long discussion.
I had never met Nnamdi before and I was amazed at his depth of knowledge, his immense courage and his deep convictions.
There is no doubt in my mind that that man is going places and in him the Igbo have an Ojukwu and a Nnamdi Azikiwe all rolled into one. He is destined for greatness.
My Boko Haram friends accompanied me to that meeting, drew a ten man security cordon around me when we entered the general population of the prison and waited outside as Nnamdi and I spoke for almost three hours.
They even accompanied me to Church on sunday and waited outside until we finished.
Given what I have written about Boko Haram in the past and given my total aversion to any form of violence, terrorism and radical Islam, this was a classic case of God granting me favour before my enemies.
Everyone dreaded them in that prison but I am proud to say that they were my friends and I will never forget their courage, kindness and fellowship for the rest of my life.
The enemy had placed me in the lions den but the lions and their prey became the best of friends. Not only were my Boko Haram section mates very good to me but so were the other inmates in the general prison population.
Not only that, the head of the prison DCP Akilu Abdullah, his Chief warden and his entire staff and team of prison wardens were firm, courteous and professional not just to me but to all the other inmates.
This was the doing of the Lord and it was marvellous in my sight. Throughout my travails I have never questioned God and I have been inspired and comforted by His word which says that in all things we must give thanks to Him.
I am innocent of all the charges and allegations and as I have said elsewhere the whole thing is an attempt by the Federal Government and an increasingly desperate EFCC that is obsessed with my name and putting me away to discredit, break and silence me.
Yet in all this I am not moved and neither can I ever be broken or silenced because, like the biblical Job, "I know that my Redeemer liveth".
Like Shakespeare's Macbeth, "my head is bloodied but not bowed" and "I shall fight until the flesh is hacked from my bones".
And as that fight and struggle unfolds and unwinds I take solace in the powerful and beautiful words of the Victorian poet William Ernest Henley in my favourite poem titled 'Invictus' which was written in 1875. He wrote,
"Out of the night that covers me, Black as the pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll, I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul".
Like Nelson Mandela did at Robben Island prison every day for 26 years, I recited that poem three times a day on each and every day of my total of 90 days detention this year. And if I am arrested and detained again by the EFCC or any of President Buhari's other numerous security or intelligence agencies I will continue to recite it. I have no fear of what men or satan can do to me and I trust and have faith in the God that I serve.
Having explained my absence for the few weeks with this appetiser permit me get to the meat of it and now serve the main dish of this contribution.

Oh faithless generation, who warn you to flee from the wrath to come. The tithe and offering money is talking in the life of many pastors. This does not mean that paying tithe is bad or a sin but use of it is what I am asking God to enable me know if these days tithe and offering is judiciously used. I want to be the hand of God because I know the people I will give the money and nobody will notice if I am rich or not. The feeling that you are rich or very important personality will make you look for security.
[quote author=Seun post=50815070]A witch or wizard is a person who has been granted supernatural powers by 'the devil' and uses them to perpetrate evil against other people.
I don't believe that 'the devil' exists. I don't believe that supernatural powers exist. Consequently, I don't believe witches could possibly exist.
When I read about women and children being beaten and killed for "witchcraft", I feel terrible because I know they're almost certainly innocent. Question of you believing of not is wrong. We have many kinds of peoplevwith different powers. Human power, feeling or demonic powers, and divine power . Human power has to do with scientific, physical powers. Demonic powers are powers from demon, witch craft etc. Divine power power from God. Human being are the carrier of these powers . This is why people react to things in different ways. Why are some people happy with someone down fall. Why do are you always facing same situation for a long time or rest of your life. Why are there breakthrough or you see someone proper and everything about him proper This does not mean that demonic powers does not prosper as well. There are other consequences once you worship a demon for anything. Demon is a destroyer, killers. There are principalities and powers, wicked forces at high places
Rikidony: Archbishop Emmanuel Chukwuma shares his thoughts on the state of the nation and expressed worries that except the right steps are taken by the present administration, to put the country on the right pedestal, the country’s woes would continue unabated. According to him, “all is not well at all, with Nigeria.
We must sound it: All is not well. Nigeria has become a very difficult place for people to exist. Nu It is as if we are in captivity and we are looking forward to God’s deliverance…. In fact, Nigeria is in captivity under Buhari”.
In this interview, Chukwuma, who is the Anglican Archbishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province, while speaking on a number of other national issues, describes the idea of sale of national assets as shameful because, “when our forefathers acquired those assets, it was for us to build on them and not for us to sell off our birth right”.
And on ‘Wife in the Kitchen issue’, he said the President’s wife should be hailed because she, “…did not speak as a president’s wife but as an ordinary Nigerian who feels the bite of the prevailing harsh economic and socio-political situation on Nigerians.
What do you make of the current state of the Nigerian nation?
The current state of the nation is very bad, very hard, very, very much uncertain, and people are very much discouraged and living with uncertainty, given the state of the economy and the current biting economic recession.
People are really tired and confused about the present government. And one is, therefore, wandering where we are heading in this country.
It has become very difficult for the common man to make three square meals a day; and salaries are not enough to help workers to cope with the harsh economic realities. The income is getting minimal even as expenditure keeps rising by the day.
Also, the exchange rate has taken a disgraceful turn under a government that had proudly promised to make the naira equal or even stronger than the dollar.
What about the rising state of unemployment?
Many more of our graduates are still unemployed. Nothing is happening about that; it has all been wishful promises hence many of them indulge in crime, even as many workers are being relieved of their jobs. So, the situation has brought upon citizens, untold sadness and despondency. A look at our security is also nothing to write home about.
In some areas there have been increased cases of kidnapping while cases of armed robbery and terrorism have continued unabated in other areas.
However, we are grateful to God that some of the terrorists are surrendering their arms and embracing amnesty. But that notwithstanding, all is not well at all, with Nigeria. We must sound it: All is not well! Nigeria has become a very difficult place for people to exist.
It is as if we are in captivity; and we are looking forward to God’s deliverance. In fact, one can say that Nigeria is in captivity under Buhari’s administration. So, we are still praying to God to take us back to the promise land, and I know that He will deliver us.
Do you think that the change which the ruling party and Buhari had repeatedly promised Nigerians during their campaigns is still achievable by the present administration?
Well, it depends on what type of change they are trying to bring in. I heard them promise that their version of change will manifest next year. However, the change that we see now is not a good version.
The change is of hardship and people are not comfortable at all. Right now, all I can say that is good about their sermon of change is that the situation is making Nigerians to change from their life of profligacy to prudence. To me, Buhari’s government is a punishment, and caution to Nigerians.I think that God is trying to punish us, and at the same time caution us with the present administration, for our past recklessness and mistakes as a nation. That is why I said that it is a time of captivity – where God chose to put Nigeria into the kind of biblical captivity of Assyria and Babylon.
And until we repent from our sins, God may not rescue us. So, it is a time for everybody to repent, in their small corners, from life of wastage, wickedness and impunity; and begin to live a life of prudence, love and patriotism.
My understanding of the Change Begins with Me campaign is that Nigeria has come to a point where everybody should accept to begin to discipline themselves and adopt ways of righteousness and patriotism.
But sadly, as far as the Nigerian economy is concerned, we have only experienced evil change. We have not seen any good thing in our economy. There may be a change in attitude whereby people are now being more disciplined and cautious about indulging in impunity. That is all.
I disagree with your assertions. It will also good that people in authority and most especially men of God should speak the truth and not be sentimental when making statement. If such an honored personality should say all these, what will you expect from people at the street. The problem we see today is not caused by Buhari, it was caused by many year of mismanagement, neglect and abuse of offices by our politicians and public servant who want to measure up. We all know that the previous government failed to deliver the so called dividend of democracy . Although Buhari as head of state should have set example for other to follow but I will say that his government at that time was cut of by maradona. Think, what is happening in Venezuela today is worst than what we are seeing here. This is because countries that depend on oil only to drive their economy like Venezuela, Nigeria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia must adjust spending due to oil price crash. Though Buhari was slow in making some helpful decision, and has his mistakes but he has the interest of this nation at heart when you look at diversification of economy into agriculture, tourism etc. Offcourae, Rome was never built in a day but I've good thing is that we are better than Venezuela and we have put some policies to checkmate the complete collapse of the economy. I plead with all Nigerian to stop this rethorics and offer advices that will helpul to move us forward. I am seeing the sign of stronger Nigeria tomorrow and I am praying for our president that God grant him the strenght and wisdom to lead us to where we prayed to be. Sir Chukwuma, I want you to continue your usual prayer and do not lose hope knowing the God your serve is almighty and most powerful God. Also men of God who want to join politics should let us know what they want to do for us.
I simply pray to God to forgive her. Chisinau, my prayer will make you smile for once. Devil is the one that came to decieve, destroy and kill. May the Lord and saviour Jesus forgive you. Be free from all condemnation. It is same thing, if you know you have not sinned in anyway, cast the stone.

It is unfortunate that you Yoruba Muslim's are praying for your Muslim Hausa brothers. This is called what?. It is time you stop killing the Niger delta, go and fight your Boko Haram. Senseless
Thank God for you, meanwhile I will ask everyone to seek and be in presence of Holy Spirit. This is most important, because Holy Spirit will keep you above the works of the evil that will make you sin without regret
I prefer Trump presidency to Clinton. 1. She has been at the corridors of power for too long. 2. While she was first lady, secretary of state, senator, etc, she supported all the wrong policies that brought the world to this stage. 3. She seem to be a lier and has influence on FBI, justice department. 4. She has lost grip of cordial relationship with Russia and this may be disastrous. 6. Want to impose the American stupid polices to the world Eg Gay rights etc
madridguy: Trump is racist bigot while Clinton is blood sucking monster.
If Clinton wins, 3rd world war is certain and if Trump wins, both legal and illegal immigrant will suffer especially my Muslims brothers and sisters.
Am speechless.
Trump will simply stop your. Muslim brothers from bombing innocent people. He will know what to do and get it done. Failed. Obama policies created Boko Haram, Isis and strengthened Alqaeda and other Islamist extremist is still going to sprout if Clinton wins
ValerianSteel: Lucasbalo I still can't seem to understand the obsession of africans with Trump. They know so little about that fraud.
I guess you guys might want to google ”Here is my african American"
Trump to me is not a kind of Obama or Clinton politicians. Clinton knows how to deal with Sanders, email deleting to cover up vital information. Use of media and other retjorics to divert mind of people from truth. Trump to me knows their tricks and has been crying foul. How will you compare Trump with Clinton in terms of who lies. What are your parameters for checking the truth. Trump should have seen the lapses over many years of Clinton services to USA government. How his husband maneuvers the independent enquiry on Lewinsky case . How the department of justice was bought over during the over 30 mins discussion inside the plane. How FBI due to hashtag laws wanted to keep pending the investigation on Clinton email. So the American people knows that clinton continuous service to us government will only result to what has been existing

So many Christians of nowadays goes to church just to please others, some going to show their New cloths,Phones,Cars, forgetting that God deserve more than that in is present,Many people refuse to get near a church unless their nephew is playing the role of a sheep in the Christmas pageant! They claim they can get more out of a walk in the woods than from the typical sermon.
When you become a Christian, you are called into a relationship with God (1 Corinthians 1:9). But I John 1:3 makes it clear that we enter a fellowship that goes two ways: with God and with other Christians.
USE OF SPIRITUAL GIFTS÷I Corinthians 12 makes it clear that God has given spiritual gifts to every Christian. And verse 7 states unmistakably that these abilities are not provided to make you feel good; they are abilities to minister that should be used for the common good! I Peter 4:10 commands us to use spiritual gifts to help each other.
HELP÷The New Testament is full of “one another” commands. We are to comfort one another (I Thessalonians 4:18), build up one another (I Thessalonians 5:11), confess our sins to one another (James 5:16), pray for one another (James 5:16), and many more. How can we obey these directives if we stay away from the gathering of believers?so you have reason going to church than going to show your swags.........
ACCOUNTABILITY—God designed the church as a place where spiritual leaders could watch out for our welfare, as a shepherd guards the sheep (I Peter 5:1-4; Hebrews 13:17). A Christian who answers only to himself can easily rationalize sinful attitudes or actions; regular contact with other Christians can keep us sharp, protect and guide our decision making....
God bless you all......
Jesus did not preach about church, he preach about the kingdom of God which is righteousness, peace etc. He to He said if you want to give offering and you have offended anyone, first you go and settle with that person before youe giving the offering, meaning that offering should not come first. The church gives room for announcements, offering, praises, sermon. So no room for hearing from the needy, settle disputes etc. The church will be at otsnbest when Holy Ghost defended upon the brethren. When the early Christians sell their belonging for then kingdom and those who try to conceal whatever from the members die instantly. The church should be at its best when Holy Spirit is decides the preacher, the leader etc. And not by the founders. When tight and offering is used for the work of God and not for business
Christ Jesus once visited us here on earth. Facts. His birth place, we still have Bethlehem till today, if it too far from you read the news about it. They have historical facts about his birth. 2. Spiritual facts. A. Prophetic. What did he say about false prophets. They will appear in cheap clothing but they are wolves. Today, you do not need to look left only but everywhere at all places. One prophets has claimed to be peaceful but instead what we see is blood suckers. There are more killing today than any other time. B. Healing. Same, in the name of Jesus, there are diverse healing. Demon tremble at the mention of his name and all knees bow. C. Light, he is light . Jesus teachings is not religious. Religion is when you obey laws for the sake of God. Teaching of Christ is light to me. How to forgive, how to love usingy neighbour. Do to your neighbour what I would want him to do to me. I regret to say that pastors who ate not led by Holy Spirit are the problem of Christian today because they teach followers to love them the way it is written in the bible and for this they ate exploited. Rich people today are just pastors and at the end, they will transfer church to their family. The kingdom they preach is their family not the family of God's people any longer. This should not be the reason why one should stop reading the Bible and acting on the word. The truth we know is what set us free.
