When you get down to the road, you will see that a lack of maintenance coupled with lack of law and order causes this.

Some traffic lights don’t work, and of course, there is never any police officer enforcing laws, hence chaos.

At least during Ambodes time when he introduced those 112 police squad cars, the police was very enthusiastic about pulling people over. Any small thing, they’ve pulled you over.

Now, danfos run amok, running red lights, stopping everywhere, with no law enforcement even turning around to look at them.

Then as always, due to a complete and utter lack of law and order, drivers will turn a 3 lane road into a 6 lane road, leading to multiple minor accidents, halt on free flow of traffic and so on.

All this can be solved, it’s so simple, just have the police stop each and every car they can that breaks the law. Laws like running red lights, driving on the bush path of the road and so on. That way you eliminate a bunch of the chaos and traffic on this route.

I really wish I was in charge sometimes.

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has said most of the roads constructed in the country will be tolled to repay the loans used to fund them.

Emefiele said this on Wednesday while answering questions after the two-day retreat of the Bankers’ Committee in Lagos.

He said, “Most of those roads will be tolled and we know that in many other countries in the world, roads are tolled because those projects are commercially viable.

“They can be refunded with tolls so that maintenance can be done on a regular basis, and people will pay for it and enjoy good roads, and enjoy good facilities because that is the only way we can fund the infrastructure of this country, which is the large amount of money that is needed.”

According to him, within the financial system, there is a lot of idle funds that can be channelled, if packaged the way the Infrastructure Corporation of Nigeria Limited has been set up to give comfort to the local investors to put their funds in the project.

He said most of the funds would be in naira because the banks and pension fund administrators have large pool of funds, and most of the funds can be raised locally before the country begins to think of accessing international finance.

Emefiele said the banking sector intended to help the government and the private sector to raise finance without necessarily encumbering the balance sheet of the Federal Government.

Happening now in sabon gari kano.

There is trouble at the sabon gari area of Kano state. This is as a result of Hisbah invading the area and destroying alcoholic beverages shops . A pregnant woman who happen to be the wife of one of the shops invaded was whisked away. This got the youth angry. And they started protesting and destroying any keke that belong to an hausa person.
Hisbah squad and 4 police van have been chase away from that area by the youth

Instead of telling us if Tinubu actually paid for his Lekki building or not, he went about talking rubbish as usual. The issue is not about Buhari or Tinubu's presidential ambition. It is about AyO Adebanjo's Lekki home. Who gave him the land the building was erected on? Who paid for the actual construction of the building? Did he pester Tinubu for the house or not? These are the questions we want straightforward answers to and not this evasive response about someone being junior to him or not.
