The question is why will a president say something else and in other hand the minister is saying different things. Why not allow the white paper to come out as said by the president before he can join into conclusion to say that the report is fake.
We should call a spade a spade. This country is really on auto pilot no one is in charge.
You have said the truth!

O.k. to clean up the dead body of Eniola Badmus.

A whole organization will send men to clean up evidence of alleged "deaths" and not 1 will leak the info for a year? Meanwhile it's liars that keep showing up with false names and trying to smuggle victims from other locations into the Lekki debacle.

The panel set up had over a year to interview Lawma but ended up with that dumb list of unverified victims with names like " John, Peter, Mary"......Dem for add Michael Jackson join.

PoliticsHURIWA: Lai’s Attempt To Rubbish Endsars Report Shows FG Not Coordinated by treesun(op): 10:04am On Nov 24, 2021
Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria says that the statement by Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, rubbishing the report of the Lagos panel on the Lekki shootings, when his principal, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), is awaiting the White Paper to be released by the Lagos State Government goes to shows that there is no cohesion between the Federal Government and the sub-nationals.

The PUNCH had earlier reported that the Justice Doris Okuwobi-led panel on November 15, 2021, submitted its report to the Lagos State Government, noting that at least nine persons were confirmed dead at the Lekki toll plaza when soldiers stormed the tollgate to disperse EndSARS protesters on October 20, 2020.

The 309-page leaked report stated, “The atrocious maiming and killing of unarmed, helpless and unresisting protesters while sitting on the floor and waving their Nigerian flags and while singing the National Anthem can be equated to a massacre in context.”

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who received the report, said he had constituted a Committee to bring forward a White Paper within the next two weeks to be considered by the Lagos State Executive Council.

United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, on a two-day official visit to Nigeria last week, had said that the submission of the report by the Lagos panel was an important step towards accountability for killings and rights abuses allegedly committed by some operatives of the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Army.

Blinken had met with the Nigerian President at Aso Rock in Abuja, and Buhari had said the Federal Government was waiting on Lagos State and other state governments to come up with their conclusions.

But at a press conference on Monday, Mohammed said, “It is simply incredible that a judicial panel set up to investigate an incident has submitted a report laden with allegations, the same allegations it was set up to investigate in the first instance.

“Instead of sitting for all of one year, the panel could have just compiled social media tales by the moonlight on the incident and submitted, saving taxpayers’ funds and everyone’s time. That report is nothing but the triumph of fake news and the intimidation of a silent majority by a vociferous lynch mob.”

‘Lai disrespected Buhari, Sanwo-Olu, has no business in govt’
Reacting, HURIWA National Coordinator, Emmanuel Onwubiko, told The PUNCH on Tuesday that the minister disrespected Sanwo-Olu by rubbishing the panel’s report before the release of the White Paper by the state government.

The HURIWA coordinator said, “The reaction of Lai Mohammed stridently denying the clear and evidently proven massacre of gargantuan proportions in Lekki Toll Gate on 20th October 2020 and his attempt to rubbish and discredit the report of the illustrious Lagos State Judicial Panel on #EndSARS protest, is a demonstration that there is no coherence and cohesion in government at the centre.

“It shows that there is truly nobody at the Centre who is providing leadership in which case the cabinet-level ministers are doing and saying whatever they deemed alright in their warped imagination to say or do.

“The Minister of Information Lai Mohammed has succeeded in revealing the spectacular collapse of the Presidency and that governance is now through an autopilot mode. It is sad, pathetic and disappointing that the Minister spoke even before a White paper is published by the Lagos State Government and it shows that he has no respect for the sensitivity and sacredness of the many lives that were needlessly wasted by soldiers and police.

“He has no valid reason to remain as a minister because he has lost all modicum of self respect and I think Nigerians will no longer take the Federal government serious if he remains in office as the official spokesperson of the Government.”

presidency:
*Adds: It’s a testament to the possibilities in the Nigerian economy

Coca Cola’s plan to invest $1 billion in Nigeria in the next five years testifies to the possibilities in the economy despite challenges, according to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN.

Prof. Osinbajo stated this Monday evening at the 70th anniversary gala of the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC).

According to the Vice President, “your ongoing investment in the country, which I am told will be in the order of $1billion in the next five years, testifies to your faith in the possibilities of Nigeria.”

“And you can rely on the partnership of the Nigerian government, (and i dare say the Nigerian people too) as you make these great strides,” Prof. Osinbajo assured.

While narrating his personal and family stories about drinking Coke, including how he drank two bottles of Coke a day up until 2017, the Vice President reiterated that the Buhari administration’s commitment to “creating an environment that allows the private sector innovate and thrive remains active and sincere, despite the challenges.

“And we will continue to work with businesses across the broad spectrum of our dynamic economy to ensure that we do this with a clear view of the opportunities and problems of the day.”

Prof. Osinbajo further stated that in the 70 years that the company has operated in Nigeria, it has demonstrated “commitment to the Nigerian people with repeated investments, in the building of production facilities across the country, in creating thousands of jobs but also in your active support of every aspect of our national life, from health to education, from women and youth empowerment to sports. All done with conscious respect for the environment.”

Continuing, Prof. Osinbajo said “I think it is fair to say that the commitment has been met with the enthusiastic patronage of generations of Nigerians; families who have been supported by the stable careers of staff who have grown with the company through the years.”

He explained that “young people who have found successful careers in sports and entertainment inspired by your support; consumers from Lagos to Kano, Rivers to Plateau, linked by distributors in every region of the country, who have built enduring businesses getting Coca Cola into the hands of millions; a robust value chain that includes service providers and marketing agencies, creators of the iconic Coke adverts that have formed part of our individual and collective memories all these years.”

The high point of the event was the presentation of awards to distinguished staff and partners of the company across the country.

On his part, Board Chairman of NBC, Amb. Segun Apata recalled the company’s growth and contribution to the economy and noted that the company will continue in its 70 years tradition of investing in the economy as well as impacting its host communities through several initiatives, especially for the youths.

Nigerian Bottling Company also known as NBC was incorporated in 1951 but started production in 1953 at the basement facilities of the mainland Hotel, owned by Leventis Group, producing Coke licensed by the Coca Cola Company.

The gala night was also attended by the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.

This should be the easiest report to implement if it had not been filled with fictitious names. That's why the Lekkilies promoters are still not giving answers to direct question of why do we have fictitious names in the report. Is it right to lie on oath and go scot free ?
If the punch writes 100 pages of editorial and still can't answer such a simple and direct question then they are not serious because they have something to hide.

They are the journalists who should have now gotten us the evidence that those fictitious names exist or not.
Thank God the report is in black and white so the people who inserted fictitious names in the report will answer.
You will still deny Ibeh's attack?
