Sometime last year, the campus community was hit by the first ever e-magazine on campus - Campus Oracles. The magazine got massive attention and approval with the campus community as it was followed by Campus Oracles TV. They have remained relevant, enlightening and empowering Nigerian campus community.

On 21st of October, 2017 the second edition of the magazine was released with the CEO/Founder of Gender Chronicles Arthur Chibueze on the cover, with lots of educative and fun filled articles. It's a sure companion for every student and graduate.

People tend to act as if there’s no other way to show their images but by sliders. This simply isn’t true.The truth be told, I for sometime now have tried to change my themes. Reasons being : I needed a theme with slider.

Until lately, I stumbled on an article, then I figured that maybe sliders ain’t really necessary.

Some people for some reasons, always seem to disagree with me for having male friends, and a male for a best friend. I’m not arguing or trying to be odd, like i posted in my article sometime ago I will always prefer males as best friend than the female folks.

MY MALE BESTIE

Most times of my life, I’ve been a girl with male best friends. I don’t mean that in some gross, off-putting manner-like
“I don’t get along with other women because I am way too sexxxy” kind of way. But for whatever reason, I’ve typically also had more close male friends than the average lady.

When you’re a woman with a male best friend, people think that you’re up to something. They can’t quite agree
on what it is — are you trying to get laid? Trying to inflate your ego by being the “cool girl”? Trying to do
both at the same time?

And even if all that judgment doesn’t bother you personally, you still have to deal with the weird hang-ups of your other friends, your family, and even science. There are new psychological studies conducted seemingly every year devoted to picking apart the extremely pressing question of whether men and women can be friends, even though they never seem to come to any concrete answers. (Over the course of two years, Scientific American covered one 2012 study that claimed that men and women can’t be friends because men are disgusting horn-dog monsters, and one 2013 study that showed that men and women can be friends.)

And yes, sometimes, male BFFs do end up becoming something more. But often times, they don’t. And no matter what happens,

2. MALE BESTIE’s ARE MORE LIKE A BODYGUARD: The most hideous advantage of having a guy best friend is that they can also play the role of a body guard for guys tend to more protective than your lady friends.

3. THEY CAN FILL IN MULTIPLE ROLES: Guy best friends can make themselves versatile to be filling in any role you want them to be, like a long-lost brother, a boyfriend you never, in all a friend you can just talk to freely.

4. THEY ARE MUCH LESS DRAMA: Hanging out with guys is one thing every girl should try more often. These guys are less dramatic: no emotional issues, no gossip and everyone has fun.

5. THEY CAN STAND ALL YOUR DIRTY TALK: This set of friends, you can be with at anyplace and time, talk crap with them and they don’t judge you.

6). THEY CAN STAND YOUR ENTIRE ALCOHOL ATTITUDE: It’s easy to get drunk with a guy best friend for they can provide you with all the assurance you need to feel free, act dumb and be yourself.

Men, try to understand women, as much as we go through the pains of child-bearing, you have to bear with us and give us time and patience. Every woman understands her husband requests and will always do so, as long as you plead gently.

In summary, Men: have a concrete reason to get married, don’t just get married because you got the money, or she’s fine.

1. You set it to display on PC View (most readers on mobile view don't find it interesting)

2. Set the timings to be a lil bit slow. If the slider timing is too fast, audience won't be able to make their choice on reading the one they'd like

Actually, I didn't ask all my contacts.......But from wild guess majority of people don't click on slides. Common swity if you're a web-freak you should know better. ....tanks for contributing

Creativity is in the mindset. If you cannot use slider that doesn't mean you will rule it off. Good concept with slider helps you achieve single page application i.e adding more content on the landing page or index. Actually this article came with a lot of research and actually it's an opinion and more like it's a choice to rule it off or not. no harm in trying new things out. I love sliders alot, I think it brings out uniqueness in a webpage if properly utilised.

A Slider is a good form of advertising your content but it's advisable to use it only on PC view why is that most surfers don't usually use script enabled devices when they go mobile and you know sliders are powered by scripts. So I will say unless you are using sliders for an e-commerce site or something related, I'll advice you not use slider on your pages.

Everyone knows that sliders are coll. If you read the article well, I said it earlier that I even had to change the theme of a blog, just because of slider. But during the cause of my research. I figured that sliders ain't so great afterall

Sometime ago, in one of the social media platforms, a friend of mine said every lady should go watch a movie (hidden figures featuring Taraj P. Listen up ladies, HUMILITY IS A VIRTUE

The fact that you don’t work to do your shopping, doesn’t warrant that you don’t take proper care of your clothes.

The fact that you’re a model or some broke-ass slay queen doesn’t mean you eat just about 1/3rd of the food you’ve been served.. Most times, ladies think it’s being a big girl, but the truth is you’re just as lowly as any other girl.

Even God in the bible, after feeding the 5000, asked the disciples to gather the left over and account for it.

So, you the reader, how many baskets have you wasted?…and how much punishment do you think you deserve?

Most men don’t like that act, but they may not tell you, so you don’t get offended. You’re feeling to big to finish the meal you were served, forgetting the man that is paying the bills finished his. Who is fooling who?

MY HUMBLE ADVICE?…When you’re been asked out to a restaurant, make order for something you can eat and consume. And if you happen to have leftovers, request for a takeaway plate, package it and leave with it. On your way out, you will definitely see some homeless child that’s in dire need for food. Give it to him/her. They will be forever grateful and will bless you.

Such blessings stick to people.

Let’s stop wasting food and drinks, a large population of people go to bed hungry everyday……Be a woman with dignity and save children, not waste food claiming Behind-lady.
