Chivamba (not real name) a teacher from Mashonaland East who lives in Chitungwiza, has narrated his ordeal in the hands of two women who raped him till his penis became bruised after he was kidnapped.
According to the 48-year-old father of four, he never believed stories about female rapists till it happened, and The Standard gathered that Of late, cases of women raping men in Zimbabwe has become rampant.
Here’s what the Chivamba had to say about the incident that has left him “confused, traumatised and dejected.”
“No man would ever want such an experience and as for me, I would give anything to avoid a repeat, even in a dream” he said.
My family stays here in Chitungwiza and I was on my way back to Macheke after a weekend visit when this tragedy happened. I usually prefer to use buses when travelling but as fate would have it, that day I flagged down a private car, a BMW and it stopped. The driver told me that he was going to Mutare via Marondera and that was perfect for me.
There were three women already in the car, one sitting on the front passenger seat and the other two on the back seat. I got in and sat with the two women at the back and we took off.
He said everyone was very friendly and the driver seemed to be in a romantic relationship with the woman sitting with him in the front.
They were all drinking beer which was in a cooler box and when we got to Ziko shopping centre they stopped to refill. One of the ladies offered me a beer and I politely turned her down since I was not feeling well. I settled for a cascade which she handed over to me.”
Chivamba said as they approached the Dema toll gate the driver took the dust road which many other drivers used to avoid paying toll fees. At this time, he said he had finished his drink and was already feeling dizzy.
I thought maybe it was the effects of the tablets that I had taken that day since I was having a running stomach. I fell asleep and the next moment I found myself in a small room with a small bed. I screamed but no one came to my rescue. My manhood felt itchy and when I looked down I realised I was bruised.
I felt weak and I was confused. Then the two women who I was sharing the back seat within the car entered the room. They appeared to be much younger than the one who was seated at the front. They began removing their clothes and told me that they wanted me to have sex with them. I refused but one of them who appeared very drunk produced a pistol and told me that she would not hesitate to kill me.
“They tied both my hands, and began caressing me like what happens in a porn movie. They would take turns to suck my manhood and forcibly having sex with me. I was made to take another drink and soon after I had an erection. They would not stop raping me despite my pleas for mercy. One of the women used a condom but the other one wanted unprotected sex.”
The next day the women, while masked with a woollen hat, brought food for him into the room where he was locked. Later that day, they bundled him into their car and they drove for some time before he was dumped along Wedza-Murambinda road.

Waec Result 2017: Some 214,952 candidates cheated in the May-June West African Senior School Certificate Examination(WASSCE) and their results have been seized by the authorities.

Mr. Olu Adenipekun, Head of National Office of the West African Examination Council, WAEC, announced this in Lagos as he also announced the cheering news of a seven percent improvement in the number of candidates that passed the examination with five credits. Last year, 52.9 percent of the candidates recorded the feat. The number jumped to 59.22 percent this year, out of the 1,559,662 candidates that sat for the examination.

Adenipekun said WAEC is still investigating the exam cheats and that the schools of the students would be duly informed soon. “The cases are being investigated and reports of the investigations will be presented to the appropriate committee of the council in due course for consideration. “The committee’s decisions will be communicated to the affected candidates through their schools,’’ he said. He said that 923,486 of the 1,559,162 candidates that sat for the examination, obtained a minimum of credits in five subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics. The official said the percentage of candidates in this category in the WASSCE for school candidates was an improvement on what was obtained in the same examination in both 2015 and 2016, with 38.68 and 52.97 respectively.

A 44-year-old bricklayer, Mukaila Alatunse, who attempted to kidnap his neighbour, Precious Ogundiran, a student, had his plans recently foiled by the police in Ogun State.
PUNCH Metro reports that Ogundiran lives with her parents at Lemode, in the Ijoko area of the state and is the only child of the family.
Alatunse was said to have discussed his plan to abduct Ogundiran with a vigilante in the neighbourhood, telling him that they could get as much as N5m ransom from her parents.
It was gathered that the vigilante played along with the father of seven, and later divulged the plan to Ogundiran’s father, a lecturer at the National Open University of Nigeria on Victoria Island, Lagos State.
The father was said to have reported the case to the police at the Agbado division, leading to the arrest of the suspect on Monday.
A source told Punch that a team of detectives, led by the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Sunday Ominijo, laid in ambush at a hotel in Agbado, where Alatunse and the vigilante had agreed to meet.

Manchester United has announced that Wayne Rooney, the club's all time highest goal scorer with 253 goals has just signed for his boyhood club, Everton on a free transfer, after Man U offered to buy out his remaining contract, in a deal that involved the £75m capture of Romelu Lukaku.

A pregnant Ghanaian teenage mother who lost her Virginity at the age of 11 has revealed that she sleeps with 15 men a day to support herself, her child and the unborn baby.
According to Afia Nyarko, she went into prostitution after the man who impregnated her denied responsibility, leaving her to her fate.

“I have been forced to go into prostitution because the man who impregnated me decided not to take care of us again. I have been doing this for the past years to survive” she said.

By Anayo Okoli & Dennis Agbo ENUGU-THOUGH the resolution of Igbo leaders meeting in Enugu, made public on Sunday, failed to mention names such as the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu or Biafra agitation, South East Voice can authoritatively report that the issue of separatist agitation among Igbo youths dominated much of the discussion that lasted from Saturday night to early Sunday morning.

Some participants in the closed door meeting, who preferred anonymity, revealed that the issue of the separatist agitation, particularly Nnamdi Kanu, was discussed extensively. Lending credence to the discussion of Biafra agitation, Chairman of the South East Governors Forum, Chief David Umahi, in his preamble address at the meeting noted that the issue of Nnamdi Kanu and separatist agitation would form a major point of discussion at the meeting. Governor Umahi in the address admitted that the current socio-political trauma convulsing the landscape, particularly the separatist agitations of some Igbo youths was something that has been exercising the minds of South East Governors. Umahi said “Whilst we recognise quite rightly that each and every zone in the country is challenged by one form of youth restiveness or the other, we are particularly concerned because of the crude dimensions that things are veering. We will continue to seek avenues of positive resolution in order to avert bringing pointless doom upon our great land.” Overall Leader of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Umahi expressed gratitude to governors of the zone, the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and other distinguished Igbo icons who worked both openly and behind the scene to secure the release of Nnamdi Kanu. Separatist agitations
“However, part of the central issues we must consider today is the manner in which the group led by Nnamdi Kanu has gone about its agitation. It’s an agenda point which I believe will dovetail into the equally sizzling topic of the moment-restructuring… one of the vexing questions we must begin to tackle with urgency is the matter of separatist agitations. It is my humble submission that we must tonight set up a committee with a wide-ranging remit to engage our restive youths and make a recommendation to Ndigbo that will form basis of a resolution of the crisis,” said Governor Umahi. The Ebonyi governor who chaired the meeting based on his position as the chairman of South East Governors Forum also reflected on the dying Igbo traditions and culture and urged Igbo leaders of repute to thinker towards restoring the fading Igbo values. Those in attendance at the meeting included the five governors of South East States, all members of the National Assembly from the zone led by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, and the Chairman of South East Caucus of the members of the National Assembly, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe. Kanu and leaders of the groups Others were President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo, former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, former Governor of the Central Bank, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, Senator Sam Egwu, Chief Chekwas Okorie, Prof Barth Nnaji, Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe, former Inspector General of Police, Ogbonnaya Onovo, Mrs. Josephine Anenih, and Senator Gill Nnaji. The list also included the Catholic Bishop of Nsukka Diocese, Prof Godfrey Onah, the Enugu Archbishop of Anglican Communion, Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma, the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, Chairman of South East Traditional Rulers Council. However, at the end of the meeting, the resolution fell short of addressing the issue of the separatist agitations but dwelled on the need to quickly restructure Nigeria and implement the 2014 National Conference report. Addressing newsmen at the end of the meeting, Governor Umahi who read out the communiqué said:

Reasons for such applications, according to him ranged from insecurity arising from Boko Haram insurgency to political prosecutions in Nigeria.

Ambassador Schlagheck however hinted that his country was not convinced that there is political persecution in Nigeria at the moment. He said that the German government was adopting legal measures as required by the international laws and conventions to ascertain the veracity of the claims. Ambassador Schlagheck made the revelations on Wednesday in Abuja when the House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora led by its chairman, Hon.

Rita Orji visited the German embassy on oversight functions essentially predicated on the recently assented Diaspora Commission Bond bill by the Presidency. He said that about 90 to 99 percent of the applications were not likely to be granted. He said: “There are 13,000 asylum applications in Germany. It is a serious examination. We are legally required to know if the person (applying) has been prosecuted for political reasons. “Think of Nigeria in the way you want but there is no political prosecution here. The likelihood that most of these absurd applications are rejected is almost 90 to 99 percent.

Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Mr. Abubakar Malami, disclosed this to State House correspondents on Wednesday after the Federal Executive Council meeting. According Malami, the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government totally agrees with the ruling of the court and hence, will carry out the order as long as it does not amount to violation of the rules of the court. Recall that the Hon Justice Hadiza Rabiu Shagari-led Lagos Federal High Court had, in a ruling, ordered the Federal Government to “immediately release to Nigerians information about the names of high ranking public officials from whom public funds were recovered and the circumstances under which funds were recovered, as well as the exact amount of funds recovered from each public official.”
