Why is he strongly recommending it?

Ultimately it's your decision to make.
FamilyRe: Feeling Sad About My Job At 28 Any Solution Pls by Trippledots(m): 9:20am On Nov 17, 2025
Op...

Here are my suggestions:
1. What do you have a natural flair for? Something that you can do easily. Once you can/have identified it, develop it and market it.

2. Be smart, look for opportunities around where you work. I know a fuel attendant that out of the blues told me that he sells tires both new and tokunbo. Unknown to him my supplier has been posting me for a while for some tires. I saved his contact.

Think of something you can market to the people who come to buy fuel. You meet all classes of people so find something that won't hurt your job or being trouble from your organization and market to your customers.

3. Someone above has talked about skills that are in demand. That's a good advice.

4. Plan your way out. I noticed you didn't say what you are paid is bad even though I know you want more. So, I'm assuming that your pay can take care of your needs and maybe you can save a little monthly.
Now look at your major expense power, food, shelter. See how you can handle them smartly. Like buying food in bulk, instead of running gen constantly, look at solar inverter/solar gen installation so that you save money and can use power when you need it. Save up your rent before it gets due, and if you can do that months before it is due out the money in secure bank investments so they accrue something, no matter how small before you withdraw it and pay your landlord.

Keep an eye out for better jobs. Them plenty but they don't come cheap or easy sometimes.

Wish you all the best ..

Really looking for anyone that sells DIY metal boxes for building 48v lithium batteries. Metal fabrication is stressful in Nigeria (many welders are anti-excellence). Jiji and online searches have not provided anything helpful. I'll be happy if anyone can give me a contact
Talk to Mr Reed

Where is your location?

Good evening house! I’m deciding on a 20kWh lithium battery + 10kVA inverter for my home. I need to pick between Felicity, Cworth, and Growatt — price is NOT a factor.
Please recommend the best based only on:
✅ Durability
✅ Reliability
✅ Performance
Short, clear verdict preferred. Thanks! 🙏
I have used cworth hybrid inverters without much problems. But I won't recommend their batteries.

If money is not a problem, then go for premium brands, like victron and pylontech.

If money is not a problem but you are on a budget, i'ld recommend cworth inverter and 3pcs of 8kwh batteries. Deriy, Mr Reed and possibly Valto comes to mind here.

Yes it is. I'm planning to run heater, AC, on it. Is it safe? I'm going the DIY route.
Make sure you size your cables and breakers properly, torque your connections properly too. Not only cells but partial connections and undersized accessories can be a fire hazard.

My solar system appears to be overgenerating power. I suspect this is due to the DC battery breaker (located between my external charge controller and the main inverter battery bank) being switched OFF. This has happened two days in a row. Note that I also have a separate array connected to the hybrid inverter's internal charge controller.

Key Goal: I need a solution to remotely monitor the system's performance (voltages, current, generation) and, crucially, to have the ability to remotely switch On/Off specific breakers (like the main DC battery breaker).

What hardware/protocol would you recommend for this level of remote control and monitoring?
Once you mention remote monitoring just look into smart breakers, smart shunts and contactors for large current or DC switches.

You can connect these devices to do whatever your heart wishes.

YOu can come DM let's design something that should work for you.

I am getting a standing fan not a ceiling fan.

Any review on the remotes for that.

Similar to how you cannot get batteries for telco supplied mi-fis, you just need to get another new one!

Sad
Very sad ..

Thank you! Qasa wins!!
QASA DC ceiling fan remotes are trash though... I have bought two units and installed one. So far I have used both remotes for the one I installed and they both died natural deaths after a couple of months. Called the distributor if I could get a replacement remote, they said no, except I'm buying a new fan again.

I’ve been wanting to ask this question for a long time now, infact I’ve been patiently waiting for someone to ask this question all these years 😭. But nobody, not even one person out of you all asked. Meaning I’m probably the only guy using Scahet inverter in this modern and advanced world where AGI and Weak AI is coming for people with jobs that do not require muscle or physicality.

Abeg how many watts per hour do Sachet inverters consume? 😫

Please I need a practical answer not google or AI generated one. Thanks
My 5kw sachet consumes around 30w idle.

Good evening guys. Please i want to know what I'll need to install solar that'll just power 2 fans at night, charging of phones and TV once in a while at night. Suggestion please on the amount of panels, inverter and battery I'll buy. Thanks
Solar generators might just serve you well.

Otherwise, go for 1kva hybrid and 1.2kwh or 3.6kwh( if budget can handle it)lithium, and maybe two pieces of 700w PV panels.

Hello everyone,

I have followed this thread for quite a bit and I'm popping in to ask what your general thoughts are on all-in-one systems.
Thinking of acquiring the Growatt or Huawei from Fouani, mostly for the expandability and neater installations.
Does anyone have an experience with any of these items?

It would be good to know what your thoughts are
handy images attached below?
I think it's expensive.

Can this inverter perform well on this battery just to power a solar standing fan and charge phones huhhuh?
Get a solar generator instead. I recommend Sako 1kwh 300w for your load.

Yes I can tune the stab but if the light is extremely low even stabilizer won't be able to do anything, I am having same problem, NEPA should increase ur current
Na voltage Dem suppose increase not current. But I doubt this can be rectified from this their station. It's a transmission problem.

If ur voltage is 160-190v and u have a 5kva stabilizer and ur AC compressor still isn't starting, just get ur self the hard start kid,
U can check Google to see who it works and how is connected, it's easy to install but if u can't do it call an ac repair professional to help u
Baba, long time. So you stay at Igando? You no far from me be that na.

I moved from inside Egan to somewhere close general.
You see that low voltage matter when? Very annoying. But I didn't bother going to complain because I know they will just use person to do yeye. One guy was yapping that I should go and report, this one, that one.... I use an inverter AC so it's easy on my stab. Even at that, some times the AC or the voltage regulator will just trip off.

Third one.

Whenever you want to increase battery capacity, you can just buy an extra 24v battery and parallel them.
I'ld rather he goes for the second. More storage is what he needs since no solar and probably no light throughout the day except for 2 hours. He can parallel it for longer backup and even and possibly add a medium sized fridge without increasing inverter capacity.

Hmmm. See if you can try this. Keep an eye on the battery voltage read out. tell someone to turn on a heavy load and watch at what voltage the battery starts charging. Set your absorption voltage to that value and observe.

Can you try reducing the absorption voltage a little?

Trippledots, I think you advised on how to resolve a similar issue on PowMr controller. Trying to find your post, but I no see am. Any advise for this bro?
That one was for battery disconnecting and connecting back when it's full.

This their own seems like a factory defect. I've not really given it a hard thought too. There could be a nifty way to set the system so it doesn't enter that idle mode.

BTW, I learnt not all MPPTs are the same. Some track faster than others. I don't know if it's the tracking that is the issue.

Each apartment has separate panels provided by landlord.

Tenant to sort out inverter and battery individually.
How much is a he connection fee? Because this landlord is looking like he will win landlord of the year, this December.

Always buy the biggest panels your money can buy!

460 watts in an age of 600 to 700 watts is short changing yourself
The biggest panels may not always be the most cost effective. What I do is get the cost per W of each panel and go for the reasonably cheaper option.

Like for cworth, I found out the 420w was the most cost effective.

Not all will run for 24 hours. Between 6pm and 6am, My load will not go beyond 250w max..
8kwh lithium
3.5kva hybrid 24v
4kwp solar panels.

All this should cost around #2.3m if you know where to look.

Installation charges and accessories can take another, maybe #300k- 500k
