Ladies, please what did you use as your LEGAL NAME CHANGE DOCUMENT?

Court Document/Affidavit of change of name, Marriage certificate and Newspaper change of name. The marriage certificate and the newspaper publication are usually attached to the court document when you change your name in court. So just submit the three papers like that combined as one document.

my people, pls wats the difference between these two questions

1. Question # 4: Has NAME you been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

2. Question # 5: Has NAME ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

I am kinda confused. If I have been refused a visiting visa to the US, which category exactly do I fall under, which do I answer yes to?

What amount is safe in Naira to have as POF for a family of two? Considering the relatively unstable exchange rate. CaD $15143 translates to about 3.5m on oanda and about 3.4m on xe, presently. But I was just wondering, how much exactly can u have to consider urself safe? Pls, the gurus in the house. I need answers/suggestions. Tnx.

By how much, I mean the minimum amount. Tnx

That's probably because you haven't given enough information for the required help. There are some other details needed to be able to advise on that. Going by the scores alone, they do qualify for Canada Immigration (provided your husband is not the principal applicant) but they will not give you the maximum points you require to boost your scores.

Try entering you details in the score calculator link below to know where you are presently.

score of 450 and above are most desirable.

Hi All,

When is it safe to assume my WES Evaluation letter has been lost in the mail. I used standard delivery. I applied the same time as my husband in July. His report was sent out on 4th August and it got to the mail box on 12th August (standard delivery). Mine was sent out on 18th August and I am yet to receive it (same standard mail, same delivery address- P.O.Box). Do I just assume it is missing and request another or do I still give it some time and till when? Thanks.

PS - Delivery address is 9ja Post Office Box.

Please for people that have applied for the SINP before -> what are we expected to see on our profile(new applicants) when EE stream opens up? Will there be a submit button where we can click on to submit or what? 'Cos currently there is no no option for submission. So I just want to know what to expect so as to be ready and not caught unawares. Thanks.

You can send copies of you certificate from anywhere. It is faster if you can scan them to someone in Canada or US and have them post it from there. That's how I did mine. It got there within one week. Your transcript on the other hand has to be sent from your school, otherwise it is not legit.

You are likely a NOC 0231 not 1221

I think you mean NOC 0213 Computer and information systems managers. Also check NOC 2171 Information systems analysts and consultants. It is more suited to most IT Roles. Both 0213 and 2171 are on the demand list for SNIP. Check the main duties on both to see if any one suits your position better.

In addition, applying for PR through paper route (after getting ITA), is longer (currently, i think it's 15 months) but Express Entry is standard 6 months.

Its just that the transcript request for my school (UK) is an online process with no option for uploading any document. I think I will just contact the school directly and see how they can help out with that.
