BluntCrazeMan:I'd go for Peter based on the last campaign because one of the things I observed was not the technicalities, it was someone who could inspire. This was someone who could potentially influence the mass thinking of Nigerians because we have normalized bad behaviour to the extent that we slave for it. Those little things like carrying his bag, dressing in 1 color (Oshiomole and Osinbajo have tried this method too) and other minor things he displayed in his character have a big influence on how PEOPLE behave. Maybe this is campaign in poetry again but we needed that sort of change. For me, they are all the same but you can see different things in them. |
BluntCrazeMan:Sir, I taya for dia mata. Nigerians still love dictatorship and traditional style. They still fantasize about it, it's like military hangover gave us Stockholm syndrome so the few who reason are not listened to because we don't even know what we want. That's why our politics and campaign lack principles or values or ideas to make it interesting. APC will never attend debates for instance, it has worked for them so far. |
Campaign in poetry, govern in prose but una no dey hear word, so our politicians don't debate anymore. You guys will still vote without reasoning. Therefore, it is campaign in drama, govern in melodrama.

All I can say is you write well Mr Osahon. I have not seen a good post just to gossip about bedroom activities in a while. Even if you have no interest in the topic, the writer is good with his words. |
He is so tall and big Honestly, whether you like it or not, Obasanjo remains our best leader in the eyes of foreigners and that's because he had a good foreign policy. He is the last Nigerian president to have that since 99. He is good with networking has a strong charisma and firm. You can condemn him for political assassinations, Senate interference, election rigging and manipulation, state governors interference, power crisis, third term, Turn Around Maintenance refineries, NLC strikes, privatisation of universities and many others that happened during his time but if you are objective, you will know that he is respected in Africa because of his leadership skills. His boss, Murtala was like that when they were both in the military. Africa problem was what put him in trouble and he got killed. When Jimmy Carter died, I watched Obasanjo's interview and smiled because of his influence in world politics but few days later, I cried when the children were remembering Bola Ige's assassination in December and how the injustice of the case made their mom, a judge die after the court case into his murder. When I was licking sugar, salt and pepper was mixed immediately. Obasanjo is one of the luckiest leaders, next to Buhari because they served 2x. I was reminded about how he was rescued from Abacha's death penalty, only to benefit from what Abiola died for and he still didn't recognize June 12 during his time. His recent comments have also reminded me of Soyinka saying something which people are now seeing, he has a high image of himself and he doesn't seem to want someone else to overshadow him. It is a god complex but no one is perfect. For all the bad sides, he also had good sides. Time has given us the opportunity to see what people did. I pray for him and all of us. I just have to end this decently I wish everyone what they wish themselves.

davies:I know some businesses can be cunny and I don't rate loan sharks highly but what do you think about agreements? Do you think they are wrong to behave this way when you defaulted on the agreement you signed for? I am nit judging you but look at those street guys or capone, will you say the same thing to them? |

CSTRR:What if Anambra never happened? He is solely responsible for Oyo, any other side comment is gossip or politics. |
I'm happy to read this is not D1, it better be deeone millionaire |
CSTRR:His responsibility is Oyo, not Anambra. He is the Governor of Oyo State, that is his business. Look who they are touting to be President, he's on a long thing. |
Government is negligent in this case. Is the Police saying that if Boko Haram wants to gather without announcement at a place, they won't respond quickly or how do they have resources when people want to protest Let's accept that government is not aware, what about the response timing? Doesn't that call on their emergency and response timing?Referencing Anambra and calling names is petty! VERY insensitive that the governor can compare two unfortunate incidents. Reminds me of how Femi Adesina used to justify the lower number of deaths under Buhari. It is also the way NL trolls do whataboutism. If the woman was still Ooni of Ife's wife, will the Governor talk this way? or if it happened, God forbid to Fresh FM he used as a reference im his first reaction, will he talk like this? Our leaders are very insensitive and act irresponsibly. Even the way Tinubu talked about the incident during presidential chat, you can see the way they play us like chess. How do we know that a false information by someone did not cause the incident? That's why it is difficult to just say the organizers caused the death. What were the investigations? The defendants should get a good lawyer because the Governor and Government have already taken sides! |
Time is relative but Africans are eager to wish Russians a merry Christmas and insult Ethiopians, another Orthodox sect for being 'backward'. The Chinese New Year is on January 25 this calendar year. Muslims will do their own in 1400s, bigots will say they are ancient while Hindu will do theirs in 2080s but will never say that. They have sown the seed of division, ignorance and hate into you all using religion, tribe and every other factor to mess your brains. You all cling to the foreign religions because you don't know your own culture and traditions that is why you are all extreme and hateful to those who have a different view from you. You are ready to defend anything foreign you bought but can never take that time to learn about yourself, your forefathers and their ways. You love to be slaves to other things that do not belong to you. You then start to fight each other through religion and tribe because you have an identity crisis you don't want to admit! You can see who has the problem of self-esteem. God cure you who have this mentality of self-hate Until 1924, the Eastern Orthodox Church universally used the Julian calendar, whereas the Roman Catholic Church, under Pope Gregory XIII, conducted a calendar reform resulting in the Gregorian calendar in 1582. The difference between the two calendars is 13 days between 1900 and 2100.

Ths advice you gave him, take it seriously for yourself too. |
Tally numbers, if only Nigerians could learn to keep to line and not manipulate time, we won't see stampedes, mad rush at the airport and other disorderliness. NOA should take note. The people's psych, all you need is to influence the lingo, 'stay on your lane'. |
Stop bringing speculations and unreliable posts and gossips to the FP mods ![]() |
Okiton:Don't mind them, it's just like the U.S. where they expect the sheep to follow their celebrities as if they can't think for themselves. How many are the celebrities? How many are the voters? Looking for crowd to follow. That's what APC did before they came to power, gathered all the intellectuals, pastors, available influencers/celebrities, journalists, media men to attack the people and sway them to their party. Now that they are there, they want it to be say nothing, hear nothing. They can't accept criticism, they desperately want to pitch people against each other just because they are in power. Shame! |
This is concerning and I think OP is trying to be sarcastic. A video of the event is better than a still image. I wish him all the best and every good person on earth good health and prosperity. He may consider agbada like our |

This is a recycled topic. Do your research before posting or forming headlines in your head. I am worried about the rate our mods push unconfirmed posts to the FP. If it was a question, it is a different case but don't post your assumptions as fact or news. |

I wish everyone what they wish themselves.
