liveyourlife007:I disagree with you. You're not black btw, you're dark skinned and there's nothing wrong with that. More correctly, you are brown skinned or whatever color fits you. I have people in my family with a complexion that is not dark or what you call black, do I call them white? If Rita Dominic and Genevieve were from the same family, will you call them black because some people called you that? Look at your hair, if you are younger than 35, it is likely black or maybe brown. Accepting that you are black when you clearly know what color black looks like is the biggest prank they played on your education.

ElSudani:The fool cried woof but the people went aloof because they had been lied to about the wolf before.
|
Alakoriomo:You keep comparing apples to oranges and that does not show good education. Compare the earning powers of both people before analysis. You don't just change the cost to Naira as you will. Enough of these sort of threads on Nairaland. That's how they compare UK wages to Naira but never talk about the cost of heating, insurance among others. |
ednut1:He doesn't understand that the white slave masters considered it a taboo to mate with their women. They will call her a LovePeddler. All he needs is to watch the movie below to undersrand https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODEBI7llq0M |

Why will you fight Dapo? We are not like animals who fight to inherit females. Tell her to go meet him if her heart is there. Never fight for something you can't see. PEOPLE needreality check, let her see if that fantasy will be a reality she likes but tell her it won't be under your roof she tests waters. |
They need to stop executive from renaming any higher institution in Nigeria. |
APC is not anything progressive. Buhari took us back to 84 and Tinubu took us to 1976. That's why he went back to Obasanjo's first term when he changed the national anthem. Give APC more terms and they'll take us back to pre independence. If you think I'm joking, look at the bromance with France and how the politicians are behaving. THEY want the citizens to be paupers and depend on palliatives. Nigerians are now hungry and poverty had been weaponised to enslave them. How many years did you fight before the British gave you independence? That's exactly where APC is taking us to |
I will just advise this family to leave politics if they don't have interest in it. Rotimi is late and I have observed some people have used his name to catch cruise and it takes us away from remembering the man himself. |
Wotowotoman:Thank you for not correcting me. You can be more decent in public discussion. To decent people reading, this guy even helped to prove my point. Olikoye was Health Minister and Beko was an activist. Same family. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_R2c-aeR8ds |
Divide them by religion Divide them by ethnicity |
Leobankx:You are funny. Beko Ransome Kuti was a Minister of Health while the bro was fighting gov't and mom fought gov't. We can't all be same, even twins don't do same 24/7 so this example of yours no gel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-vm5Fd63Ls |
“My wife acted in a manner unbecoming of a married woman. This picture has embarrassed me publicly ........Good man |
The article looks like something written by ChatGpt if you read it carefully. I may be wrong but you can see how disconnected it is especially the last paragraph. I then clicked on the link to read the original report from Punch and found that the OP manipulated the readers. No wonder there is DR MELCHISEDEC BANKOLE at the end 🙄 |
kcprince:This is the star comment on this thread. Make it make sense. Nigerians pay for taxes without services from government. They pay Band A and Band F for Fraud for epileptic power. I laugh when people say we don't pay taxes then they show us UK and U.S. where they pay water and light bills, good roads, health among others. Oyo State tried this too by levying borehole drillers. I don't think Nigerians are ready for change yet. The day they push them, even the State officials will be scared. |
Maeve7:Do you mind sharing more about this i.e. your child and play? What do you think parents can realistically do with kids? Though I condemn those who give smart phones to kids, the reality of life is that adults need time or are such parents not really intentional? For instance, parents who have helps realize that the child is closer to the help than they are but they had to go out to work for money that will pay the same help! Parental instinct or neglect sets in. Is it a question of us accepting that we have to sacrifice one for the other? You can't win that time back. As a man, I always understood that value of time because it is a more important memory than what we buy that their brains haven't processed the value of money yet for ![]() |
Mindlog:Don't get me wrong. I like to learn so I am open to discussions. If you saw the video, they did not say remove all toys but that giving kids toys does not make them more creative. Kids love to experience and experiment with what they have. Toys today are products created for them not products they create by themselves. We are trying to feed them and they will crave more. It's like social media doomscrolling. Today kids don't play outside like before. We are more gated and closed and because they are indoors, parents don't have their time, they are fed with toys and devices. Outside play for kids is what we adults call TRAVEL. No matter how we read on NL or watch videos of other countries, it can never be like being there. Back to kids, you sound like a parent. Have you ever noticed that if you buy a toy for a kid, it wears out in a day or 2? |
RandDigital:😂😂😂😂😂😂 RandDigital, I wish you a good 2025. That's all I can say😉 |
Hahaha TVC Your view una don disgrace us eh How can Tinubu's station not know how to fix their audio and video of studio productions? Even content creators with small budgets are doing better. The poster just craves attention because I watched that stream on TVC, what if you set the video to 144p just to make your point? Anyway let me laugh with you because for we Nigerians, e no pain us ![]() Edit: This is the original video from the stream. She is still pretty in that interview. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_IE7jl7FOs The South African is just looking for something to talk about and playing a child's game

purples25:Hi purple25, I want you to watch the video and let me read your thought. Tell me what you think about removing toys. Today, mothers and even fathers are replacing toys with smartphones. I cringe when I see parents deny their kids early development by feeding them with a device |
santaclaws:You remind me of something wild I read today. Okay, it's not so wild. It said that the concept of toys is not as long as human civilization. Kids never played with toys until modernity thought they brought up an invention. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFmUZpirWjU |
Children don't know the value of gifts. They only value experiences. |

This man lacks courtesy and discretion in talking to people as a public servant. After watching the Presidential chat, you can see where he gets endorsement from. His boss is comfotrable with talking down at people because of POWER. Some people confuse that with being BOLD/COURAGEOUS. Power is dangerous unless you have humility.

Archtype:You have a valid point about parental influence on a child being an introvert. On the other side, have you noticed that many Nigerians follow the crowd? They go with trends and they don't have a mind of their own. I am not saying being an introvert means you have sense but I think the other side of letting kids be also has its detrimental effect on you as an individual. Instead of learning from books, experiences, listening to others and all that, you experiment yourself or you learn from your peers, who don't know better. Children want to grow up fast and behave like adults but some of the things they do will cause them fatal mistakes in life. Like when you see girls gone astray, why do people always ask 'where is the father/mother'? It's because they know that the world is not as it seems but the child is in a hurry to see the deceit of outside world. Look at the kids of today learning from the internet, they are not able to think on their own, they have the stress of the outside world which is technology. You don't realize until later on in life that you have never made decisions on your own, you always needed validation of the outside world, your friends or external to make decisions. You don't have your own convictions. YOU are not doing what you really want to do in life, you are doing what society wants. Some people only discover this in their 40s that they have not been living their own lives. Why do you think the Japanese Samurai and other disciplines focus on listening to yourself? Many of us grow up as adults then realize that we only needed 1 or 2 friends in life, not the whole class. We start to see the peace of mind having less people does. LESS people, LESS drama. There are some points for me that I want such kids who are adults now to respond to: 1. As a parent yourself now, do you think that you now understand why your parents kept you away from the outside crowd? 2. Will you do the same thing to your kids albeit in a different way? 3. As an adult, do you think being raised that way helped your life today? PS: this thread proves that there are adults on this forum even though most topics because of FP gets taken over by clowns and political lackeys.

For those that cremate their dead, where we go to means a different thing to them. |
I see people trying to justify this handout with pictures from abroad of people queuing for food. What they forget is that the State feeding people is different from an individual. It does not dignify people to be queuing in front of your residence to come for fish. It is what it is. |
Women love bad boys and it is natural. Unfortunately, women without a male figure usually fall for this trap because men know themselves. |
I read the thread and it's interesting seeing what men have written. I know the one that men talk about is how they wish they would have done more if they weren't married. I remember a funny post online where someone said a man brings a girl to his life and she calls her friends in to have fun. Friends here = your children. I think marriage makes you more responsible and you start to solve problems as they come. Problems you never thought you could have solved, life throws you a curve ball. A mistake I made was trusting people. I learned to tell people only what is necessary and I avoid gossip about others. Why? People will talk, many people don't know how to keep things confidential. What they tell me about other people may also prevent me from knowing them for who they are so I start to use other people's biases to judge them. Being into business made me understand the term, MIND YOUR BUSINESS. Do what you want, maintain your principles and move on. Don't be too much in people's business and don't let them be in yours. I applied this to family and it changed how I related with them, my life has never been easier since then. |
Don Jazzy don't have time for nonsense ..A very irritating nonsense.. Immaturity at it's peak if he is pranking people with money donated to him , I refuse to waste my data on whatever he has to say.
