echomog1:Again I blame the mods. At least I saw the OP ask, Could he be referring to the awards as trash Omo too many haters They did not analyse the question, they ran away with his suspicions. The guy said "immediately after the awards". How are we so sure about that? What if the heat is on Liverpool? There is nothing cryptic about it |
Man that is not sure of his tomorrow is predicting tomorrow he did not create. Oh ye foolish mortals ![]()

obiekunie01:Maybe the law is an ass but a mass killer is entitled to a lawyer. That is why it is justice, all sides have a fair hearing, not mob justice. |
While he's doing well no doubt, I can't but see sponsorship written all over the post. From the title to language used. The topics created by OP and how this piece was pushed to FP without source is NL's version of corruption in the judiciary. At least, sponsored post de get asterisk. Those PR and media aides of politicians think people are generally stupid. Nothing has changed in their style of psyop using print media We will soon get to 2027. May the best candidate win. |
transformed a forsaken land into a spiritual haven.Lagos-Ibadan expressway was forsaken in 2000s ![]() Okay na ![]() Adeboye also recounted the cutting of a strange tree that sparked fear among local villagers, who believed those who cut it would die. “Many years later, nothing has happened to those who cut the tree,” he said.I hail Mowe |
Carndidlaydid:It's annoying. Nigerians can abuse things. Let Buhari say something now and hungry bloggers will extend it past its expiry date. |
OP what about those women that talk about polygny when the topic of polygamy is brought up, do they fit into your number 1? |
How I wish someone could have done this when she was a Senator and her husband was campaigning that agbero on the road is not befitting to a MEGA CITY. On the topic, she is right but University administrations make these decisions and they then need to ask themselves what they are trying to achieve. Given that UNILAG is not bigger than OAU, it can make commuting easy but even UNILAG's shuttle does not run everywhere. It is up to the administration to decide how they want their school to be. There are schools bigger than OAU in the world and they use shuttle buses. If you miss it or it doesn't run on the weekends, you WALK with your legs. |
I don't think this is enough to stop going to any church. I will say this is enough to stop going to this kind of church. When man tries to find a spiritual connection, the attitude of the spiritualists can either make or mar his experiences. Then you have the option to be with those who give you peace and behave 'normally'. I can tell you this is not peculiar to your religion, it happens almost everywhere. People worship differently and if you suspect abuse, leave that place. |
DW News: German President Steinmeier in Nigeria for energy talks

yemmit90:It's called the calendar method and just like other methods, no method is 100% effective. However, it is closes to the most natural as other methods have side effects, including condoms. People react differently to other unnatural methods. All calendar method takes is for the woman to record these days and you can study a trend. It also helps the woman to know when to speak to a doctor when something is irregular. People who like natural methods prefer this and some people mix this with condom, so they will have natural days after the menses and days leading to the menses.

These guys don't know their roles. That's why they embarass themselves weekly. The Senate President, who was the Special Guest of Honour at the event, used the opportunity to critique Governor Fubara’s management of the ongoing political crisis in the state, particularly regarding his relationship with the legislature.Maybe someone should remind Akpabio that he is representing the people of Akwa Ibom, not FCT or Rivers State. He can be impeached tomorrow and go back to being a regular Senator. As a Senate President, he is representing the Senate, not anyone. He represents the institution and they can't take sides with anyone except his colleagues have agreed to it. I think he is forgetting his role in this democracy. Both he and Wike hold a temporary position that can change tomorrow. Tinubu can reshuffle his cabinet and Wike is removed. The other Senators can be unhappy with Akpabio and he is removed from that seat. Wike is an appointee, not an elected official. Kingibe is elected and represents the people more than Wike. Wike has served as governor and cannot be treated like an Executive Governor that Akpabio is talking about to build cordial relationship. Lest we forget. |
Finquas:You are observant. We have a lot of sycophants within the corridors of power but our politicians are blind to see it. Buhari's birthday is coming, you'll see what will happen. |
immortalcrown:Exactly. Saving himself from needless controversy. |
I don't think there will be any winners in the case. I mean, Dele wrote this book in 2021, I heard him talk about it and there was no attention until 2024. What the case will do will be beyond what the politicians expected. Why? The judiciary has played a strong role in our democracy since 1999 and some have questioned its decisions. However, in finding legitimacy is what makes some politicians say, GO TO COURT. Most of us focus on Presidential elections but have we noticed that only the 2015 election did not go to court? What this case will do is to put pressure more than ever on the judiciary and politicians expecting to get legitimacy from them will be disappointed because the more political class tries to rob yhe judiciary of its independence, the more people will hate it. The house must reform itself. They may be collateral damage when Nigerians are ready for their politicians.

The quality of discussions here are so poor, no solid comment on the appointee or the institution, all tribal jingoism. Sad |
TalkTalkTwins:It's all about the clicks. Do you see that there is no detail about the event ![]() 2 images were posted in different ways but nothing said and the mod pushed it to FP. La click, la bend |
jmoore:Social media. Hmmm All it takes is to get pictures or videos, post your own words and sell a story 😕 You see people making up their theories. We don't hear from the sides or we just hear half of the full clip and someone runs with their narrative. Gossip is bad |
Don't pay her attention and she'll start to pay you attention. Silent treatment will make her listen. |
It takes a mindset to be rich and it takes another mindset to be mentally rich. The rich also need people because they see how money changes people and everyone around them is unreal. If you're not mentally rich, you will behave in a crab-in-the-bucket way towards the rich friend. When people are looking for material wealth, the kind of conversations they have starts to change. They discuss solutions, not problems. They see opportunities within challenges so they don't have time for gists that you used to have in the past. They also don't like to complain, which is most of what normal people do. It is not that they don't know there are problems, it's just that they have elevated themselves above these things and don't want you to drag them back to whining, which solves nothing. If you have something of value, trust me, they will come to you because humans need each other for various reasons. But you must respect YOURSELF first and let people evolve. Also, some of them are afraid to offend you because you will judge them no matter what they do, so it is best they jgnore you. You must learn in this world that life has seasons and not everyone can be our friend in all seasons. ENJOY the seasons and don't take it against them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivROI1uMjhA |
You don't want to marry her but you want to enjoy the dividends of marriage ![]() If you think you are using her, I think she is the one who is smarter than you. All she needs is your sperm, that is why she is faithful to you alone so that as a woman, she can get what most women want, their children. When she has gotten the number of children she wants from you, she will then dump you and tell the kids that their father died. She will find another man and continue life with him. At least she's sure the ones wey she don born na from one man and one man only before moving on. Women can have 2 to 3 lives on this earth, it is nothing new. As for you, consider yourself the walking dead since you don't want to be a man. It's not today women have lost husbands or divorced them and still got married after that. Nothing like woman with baggage, another man will value her. Maybe when one man from the US is interested in her, that's when your head will remember that those are your kids but you don't want to marry her because you think she had no choice but you. She and her family will remind you that boyfriend and girlfriend get END but another person is ready to do the marriage rites. Na then you go sabi say her family get tradition, dem never update you yet. Does she want a boy or girl next ![]() Congratulations on being the pawn in the chess game. |
This man has lost the trust of his own mouth

Sponsoring generators. Aren't we ashamed that we cannot tackle this electricity monster and give Nigerians 24/7 public power supply ![]() |
Boasting like this is what led to the downfall of PDP. Jonathan and the people trying to enjoy the frills of the Presidency said there was no vacancy in Aso Rock. PDP Chairman then, I think Ogbolafor or whatever his name was, said that PDP will rule Nigeria for the next 60 years. God spared his life to see that they could not win the next 2 elections. The man himself is dead today. Abacha had vision 2000, vision 2010 but look at life, 3 people were Presidents after him. Add Abubakar and that is 4. Out of the 4, 1 of them did not even complete his term. He died in office. Nothing is assured. That is one of the greatest mysteries of life.

You'll think this Akpabio was never in this opposition before. Take whatever he says seriously at your own risk. Here is Akpabio having to correct his slip that they rig elections under PDP. If he could say this when he was a PDP governor, why can't he say things like this as an APC Senator ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbmkkE1H6Kk |
BigYash:I have no problem with missing people but read this by the OP I thought despite being retired , he would still be present, but it was so shocking that he was not there. What was the OP expecting? How is it shocking he wasn't there He has done his best and nothing lasts forever. People will get used to the new. That's life |
Don't worry, it was stage fright. It's been a long time ge defended his thesis ![]() |
Okechinwadike:Excellent point. But not in the field. We should learn how to say goodbye |
EmperorCaesar:Thank you for this comment. On this Nairaland, I saw one user complaining that Tinubu looks odd for dressing in a traditional attire and I reminded them that no Nigerian President wears suit, they don't. It took 3 defeats for Buhari to wear one for his campaign. Another user said Nigerian men should stop wearing traditional attire and put on sweat pants. I think these people have consumed too much media they lack self awareness and sense of culture. |
This is normal and will put migrants on their toes. This is what immigrants used to be afraid and they were of best behaviour. Today, bad behaviour is tolerated and people are getting away it. The law though, some people can set you up because they want to see you go, so we have to watch for injustice. |
