Davo93: Hmmmm... at last! Congratulations to those selected and i wish them a very successful stay over there in their respective countries of study. I hope they prove to the whole world once again that Nigerians are not dull people but only been limited by the non-working atmosphere.

By the way, i don't want to say this so as not to sound like a looser but i can't help it. Its quite unfortunate after spending about 50K on the application procedures and requirements for the 2013 BEA scholarship and several horrible experiences i had during the application period which i can't start narrating here, the ministry of education has made a lot of us that applied feel like something secretive goes on in selecting the lucky ones. Yes, we were told the selection will be done by the donor nations but i beg to disagree that it went that way. Imagine we wrote an exam around 27th March, no result was released, no response from Federal Scholarship Board even when you contact them, their website went down and surprisingly, we heard the Supervising minister seeing them off. I say, the selection process is just too cloudy! No fairness; No transparency whatsoever.

My Oga at the top thing has been the order. Truly, everyone cannot be picked but why is the selection process not plain and conspicuous tovus all? I am sure a lot of Nairalanders that applied have more to say on this. Things like this make one feel like we have got no hope again in Nigeria but all thesame, i see a better Nigeria in the nearest future. Its high time we washed our system away from corruption that has eaten deep. I bless God, i am doing very fine where i am today but what of those young sharps that were disappointed same way and no breakthrough to an institution yet? May God help us all.

But as for me I would say Satan was cast out of heaven. Matters that arose from Jesus temptation showed that Satan was on earth: Jesus rebuked him while executing his work. Let‘s consider this Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil... 25Calibre: As a Christian myself, I'm at a point where I'm beginning to question the relevance of religion, the reality of God, Heaven or hell.

But I must say according to the bible, after death, a soul either goes to HEAVEN or HELL, then during the rapture, the souls dead in Christ shall rise first, meaning their mortal bodies transformed into immortal celestial bodies, shall rise to be reunited with their souls in heaven.

Then the sinners who missed the rapture will face the great tribulation for 7 years ( especially the 2nd 3.5 years )after which Jesus and his saints shall return to this world for the millennial reign, then only shall satan be bound hands and legs and thrown into the bottomless pit.

After the millennial reign, then comes the GREAT WHITE THROWN JUDGEMENT where every man shall stand ( even the occupants of hell brought out ) and give account if his life, the goats Separated from the sheeps, the saints admitted into heaven for eternal bliss, the sinners thrown into THE LAKE OF HELL for eternal damnation
you do err....the great tribulation starts after the House of Judah completes their tribulation....tribulation and anguish to Jews first then to the world,and aint no such junk as rapture

sanniemoe: God bless U. I am a muslim and this account of the grave scares me like hell. May Allah in His infinite mercies forgive us all but astagafirlah,on the other hand,is there truly hellfire. I understand dont and wouldn't compromise His standards but don't U think the concept of hellfire overrules that of destiny. If everything in life was written or say destined by God,then whats the logic behind hellfire and heaven,whats the justification?

For example; Adolf Hitler right from the moment he was conceived in his mother's womb, God's destined him to be evil anf commit all sorts of crime against humanity. Why would God deliberately now want to punish Adolf for acting scripts He directed,for living a life he was destined to live?

haibe: To be sincered with you op i have found the eschatological events a bit confusing, i know there is a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness, so i don't understand the idea of going to heaven, anyone can enlighten me please, also i know the bible talks about the lake of fire and hell as a place of suffering but i have not perfectly established the difference and who would be in hell and lake of fire, someone who has the undertanding can enlighten me.

Personally i don't border thinking of hell again, i just make sure i follow the leading of the Holy spirit and so the right thing always, by this i care less of hell. Whenever i preach the gospel i preach about the love of God and the need for christ, i don't preach hell, that is left for the Holy Spirit to teach the convert.

So that's me, i care less about hell, the relationship i have with God and love i have for Him casts out the fear of hell.

This rivalry caused his expulsion from heaven. He was rebuked and left for the great judgment where He, fallen angels that conspired with him and all souls that fall to evils shall be judged, and all evils shall come to an end. It is as result of presence of Satan on earth that perfectly created things are being altered, and made to be imperfect. You know He was also there at the creation. He knows many secrets so he can alter things as he likes, that is reason why the Bible quantifies that struggling against evils goes beyond the physical, Ephesians 6.
